Takumi Saito and Shinji Higuchi drag Ultraseven's Capsule Monsters in The 12 Day Tale of the Monster that Died in 8 (2020). Very funny that they made a movie where they get to shoot the shit about Ultraseven and the Ultra Series in general during Shin Ultraman's pandemic-extended post-production.

I saw people saying "where's Marx" for the Kirby direct and had no idea that Marx was the name of a Kirby character so I genuinely thought people were shitposting about wanting this

Lately I've been having a lot of success with a self-care technique I designed. The technique is that I scream at myself: "I'm not a fuckin' piece a shit!! I'm not a fuckin' piece a shit!!" Over and over again. Usually in my head, but out loud if nobody is around.

Galaxy Quest really has one of the endings of all time. imagine if Leonard Nimoy snapped and killed an alien. imagine if Levar Burton fucked a squid. imagine you get a voice call on messenger or whatever and it's Sir Patrick Stewart telling you Star Trek is real and he needs you and your discord server to help him defeat the Borg

Special Effects designer Eugene Hilchey with the cable-controlled saurians from "Dinosaurus!". This is a favorite dinosaur movie of mine. I'm of the opinion that some of the most endearing special effects are also the most lo-fi. I had no idea they were that LARGE, though. I assumed that they were the size of toys or models.

The kaiju Midoron from episode #3 of Spectreman.
Midoron was one of the kaiju that appeared in Spectreman's unaired pilot. Most of Midoron's footage was reused for for episode #3.
