I got a washer and dryer today and it’s my first time in my adult life being able to do laundry in my own home so this was already a monumental occasion and I was feeling great but today is also the day Chris Rice discovered knotting so I mean ! Just a great day!!!!

When @faerywhimsy asked me to draw this scene I must admit I was a little intimidated by it. While I was trying to come up with a depiction that wasn't too explicit and yet terrifying I kept coming back to this particular quote above. Eventually I realised that the quote in question must have been the reason why I felt the urge to draw this other Armand Marius piece a few days ago.

talking about Marius & Santino before has me absolutely POSSESSED by Marius angst but I got a work thing to do so remind me later we have to talk about how I was reading all this Marcus Aurelius stuff for Marius Fic Research Purposes and like it's just so sad that it's like supposed to be this empowerment of self like "just simply do not feel" LOL and the emphasis it puts on blaming people who harm you when appropriate but while also moderating your own feelings and anyway I just think it's really sad how it can be easier to like pin all your angst on a PERSON (Mael, Santino) and how it can become such an obsession and focus when we often have to do the work on the inside too!!!!!!!!!
