When I was younger and researching the autism diagnosis criteria and symptoms, I thought “oh I couldn’t POSSIBLY be autistic.” Because when I read “takes everything literally” I thought it literally meant EVERYTHING and I was like “I don’t take EVERYTHING literally, just most things!” And I just realized the other day that it didn’t actually mean EVERYTHING and that was an overstatement.

One time I brought one of my rocks with me on a plane to touch to calm me down during the flight, but it fell out of my pocket on my way back to the bathroom and then as soon as i realized this they actually announced “did anyone lose…… . A rock” over the loudspeaker system.

When I went up to claim it the plane man, clearly unable to throw off the shackles of his training in the procedure of asking for people’s full names and birthdates when they come to claim wallets, said “wait no, first tell me what color it is so I know it’s really yours”

He seemed to realize this was stupid directly after saying it and kind of smiled like to make it a joke but the joke was on him bc I Described the fucking rock to him for like 30 solid seconds

…anyway. that was an interaction I had once

Reminder that people aren't entitled to see into your decision-making process unless you've agreed that they are. Just told a business acquaintance that I'd "just finished up my previous commitment". It's not their problem to know that it was DND.

life has been really rough lately, and i hate to be asking for help again, but im drowning here

between getting kidney stones, the holidays, having my car thowed away by police and general january issues, i havent been able to cover all my debts this last couple months

i dried up the little savings i had with buying medicines and having to switch to a plant base diet due to the kidney issues, so much so that i had to take some small loans

And because its the season after holidays i just havent been able to get enough work to balance things out

im really exhausted and ive been working nonstop to fix the issues, but it has become really apparent i will not make it on time

i need 1600$ to cover my debts this upcoming month

if anyone could help me out, ill really appreciate it, as im just trying to stay afloat without getting overdraft and charged extra
