who are ur biggest artistic inspirations? ive never seen collages like urs but im really enamoured by ur style!!

I take inspiration from many places really, so I find it hard to pinpoint exactly. In general I'm very interested in the meanings behind mundane objects. I like to play with the feelings they provoke and their symbolic meanings, especially in the tarot deck I made. On the other hand, I love playing with how objects are perceived and what changes when you swap them for a lookalike.

Collage is such an interesting medium because everything you use already carries a certain meaning or identity. How I challenge myself is to try and reshape this identity into something new. I think my art style stands out because many collage artists only change the context of the image but don't try to alter the identity of the image, if that makes sense.

In terms of art in a broader sense, I don't really follow specific styles, but some that inspire me are things like Dada, renaissance portraiture and medieval illuminated manuscripts. I post other inspiring stuff on my inspiration blog @mooblast if you're interested.

Hello! I’m working on a Quest for Madoka on Sufficient Velocity(if u don’t know what that is, it’s a role play where the readers can interact and basically choose your own adventure with the player character). It takes place during MagiReco, and I’d love to be able to get original Witches to use for enemies in the quest. So, I decided to ask tumblr folks. If you’re comfortable with it, would it be possible for me to use your oc? If not, it’s totally okay! I know it’s a bizarre ask.

Hey! Yeah, sure go ahead! as long as players aren't using them as player characters or anything I'm fine with it. I'd love to know if some stories play out with my witches!

The forgotten witch’s minions:

Gilbert Its duty is to be a bystander. With a single eye the witch can see all outside her domain. With no agency outside the barrier, it is doomed to witness the progression of the world around it.

Odila Their duty is to dance. Humans who have wandered into the forgotten labyrinth. They dance an eternal ball for the entertainment of the witch. To an outsider, it looks more like a funeral procession.

Waldeburga The Forgotten witch, with a Lonesome nature. Longing to live forever, she outlasted all others. Now the halls of her castle are empty, and she wanders the grounds of her barrier alone. Don’t you think throwing a costumed ball in her honour would lift her spirits?

Gero The Decay Witch’s minions. Their duty is to nail down. Their nails serve to hold down any intruder that enters the witch’s domain. 

Mundi The Decay Witch’s minions. Their duty is to reduce. Humans who have entered the cycle now help perpetuate it. Individually harmless, they swarm in great numbers to digest living matter.

The witch of Decay. She has a Forceful nature. Wishing to preserve life and its natural order, she became part of the cycle. Within her barrier, everything continually rots and regrows. To defeat her, one should break the cycle.
