Rewatching Portal to Mystery (as one does) and I got to the reveal scene.

Cassie really started to tremble and panic when Stampy suggested trapping her in an obsidian prison surrounded with lava,,,,,

Didn’t the Old Builders have prison cells that match this description? (The one’s they used to trap Axel and Olivia)

I really wanted to come up with an AU that had no angst and unnecessary plot. Just so I can draw fun art pieces and come up with headcanons...

So I thought: Hey, what if I turned pet characters into younger siblings of their owners.

It was a really cute thought at first! I admit.

That is... until I thought about the implications.

S1E5 is just a bunch of adults arguing over who gets the custody of the child.

I keep forgetting I made this…. Why-

If Cassie was a man, she would be a tumblr sexy man.

She has all the qualities:

- Light-skinned, nonhuman, or racially ambiguous (She’s a block-)

- Chaotic Morality

- Villain

- Flamboyant Persona (White Pumpkin)

- Suit (We got a painting of the White Pumpkin in a suit so, kinda?)

- Kind of an asshole

- Sad motive/backstory

- She also has a pet cat so... that’s there

The only trait she doesn’t have is not being a guy. I rest my case.

I love “Portal to Mystery” however, I believe it would’ve been ten times more interesting if Torque didn’t die.

Sparklez’s death would’ve had more of a shock factor

More tension - Tension creates conflict - Conflict fuels action

Cassie’s reveal would’ve been more of a shock (not being the only original character alive in this episode)
