Currently nostalgic for my childhood anime! Especially Cardcaptor Sakura, growing up in Hong Kong they would play the movie on weekend time slots as much as they can. It was set in Hong Kong and it was such a blast to see the cardcaptor crew enjoy the sights and sounds of my hometown! I always wanted Sakura's fight wardrobe, who wouldn't want a friend sewing them costumes?!

My family was not one to go to the theater to watch movies. We mostly watch all the movies we know from the local channels years after the movie first played. So the very first time I watched a movie in the theater was when I was 20 y.o and it was Twilight: Breaking Dawn 2 🤔

I can say now that watching movies in the theater is not for me. I'll go there if I was with friends and I will most likely rewatch them if and when they're accessible online 🫣

what's the first movie you remember seeing in theaters? don't try and be all edgy and cool and say like tetsuo: the iron man. be honest.

He glanced away. “I can’t keep looking at you. It distracts me too much.”

“What is that supposed to mean?"

He retreated, apparently intuiting the way she suddenly wanted to hex him.

“The glasses,” he swallowed visibly, “they’re a hard limit.”

She stood there in bewilderment.

He was still avoiding looking directly at her and seemed to mostly be talking to himself. “I know myself, and if you sit glaring at me for an hour straight in glasses, I’m not going to be able to think straight. It’s physically impossible.”
