     Mishima has a lot of issues revolving around like... Physical touch. This doesn’t apply to the shadows in his palace because he Knows he has full control over them, but in real life/with real people it’s a lot trickier and he ends up flinching away most of the time anyone tries to like, put their hand on his shoulder or anything like that. It would take a LOT of trust and time to get to the point where he’d he comfortable with it.
