After many weeks of keeping it under wraps, I can finally share something very special:

I had the incredible honor of creating the cover and interior artwork for the Hungarian edition of Qiang Jin Jiu 💕

Huge thanks to the Hungarian publisher, Vad Virágok Kiadó for trusting me with this amazing opportunity.

Dreams do come true sometimes, when you least expect it 😭

The hungarian edition of Qiang Jin Jiu Vol 1 is now in production and scheduled for release on the 6th of June🎉

Hi! I really love your art, especially your last post, the black and white one. The effect is amazing! May I ask which brushes you used for this drawing? I'm just starting on digital art and trying to learn new techniques. (Sorry for any errors, english is not my first language)

Hi! I'll try to be of help, but the brush pack I'm using is from a friend who works as a 2D digital artist for a gaming company, and as I've searched, it's no longer available. I have it though, so if you're comfortable with private sharing I would be able to share it. (the name of the brush pack is jama.brushes, but the original source has long been removed. I like to use 2-3 of the textured charcoal brushes.)

Another pack that I think has really good ones is Ahmed Aldoori's 2019 PS brushes, it can be easily found & downloaded by looking the name up via google.

For linework I usually use the KYLE ultimate pencil hard from the basic set of PS. And the rest of the inky textures are hand painted & scanned & edited by me, then cut and blended into my drawings in a similar way manga artists use screentones.

And no worries, english is my second language too! :)

Christmas is approaching, so I had thought of an idea to spice things up & thank you all for the support for my art this year; it’s a small thing, but I’ve created a poll based on the pieces on my wip list so you can vote to decide on the content of the next art in line to get a full rendering! ⬇️

Eventually I will complete the entire folder with 13 pieces in it currently, but as I had a hard time to choose the next one, it seemed fun to try this out :)

Since it’s early December still, there’s a chance I’ll be able to finish the next one before/during the holidays.

The poll is open for 24 hours; I’m pretty short on free time and there’s a 6day workweek coming, so I’d like to start working on it as soon as possible! Thank you for your understanding & thank you for voting! ❤️
