I am not fighting this alone

- a poetry by Me (fighting the stress of thesis)

Whenever I feel lost, mistreated, and mocked

I always seek thy gentle flowery presence at night

Sadly yesterday the cruelest of clouds blocked

Thee from shining down with thy glorious light

Cloudy was the night, much as cloudy was my mind

Lost in the sea of doubts and stresses of life

Like the pains of clouds and stresses they are strife

Fighting I am to keep myself straight and unwind

I was lost, tormented, and clouded like yesterday

Yet you shone your light at midnight today

I felt thy gentle flowering presence ever so loving

With thy radiance, and essence I shall keep fighting

Yet, I am not fighting this alone, for you have arrived

Nothing else truly comforting to me except you

My morale, my confidence, you truly have revived

We shall finish this stress and strife straight and true

To once again rest in bliss, under your gentle light

For now, I shall keep fighting, with and for you

Finishing tasks at day, waiting for you to the night

There's nothing much I can say to you but I love you
