I feel so fucking lucky to have been shaped into the person I am today by One Direction. 2024 me does not exist as I am today, without them. How lucky am I to have be changed by them. I’m here today on this tumblr, with all of you- friends, mutuals, strangers- because of them. One Direction will always be woven into the fabric of my memories, experiences and dreams. i am the person i am today because of the experiences i had stanning 1D in my twenties. those formative years were shaped by the the memories and connections i made, people i met on and offline, the learning and self discovery i endured while loving them, their music, their bond—so much of it was through those boys.

liam was integral to that entire journey and always will be. that chapter in a lot of our lives may or may not have closed, but it is something that will continue to be carried with us as we keep growing older together because there was just nothing else like them. everything about them was so special. despite everything.

i cherish so much about that time in my life, about his contributions to it, his legacy as an artist. it feels like such a massive waste. liam was immensely talented and i only wish he had gotten the help he needed in order for people to keep seeing that. he deserved to get better as much as the people he hurt deserved to speak up.

let this be a lesson to hold onto one another, check on people you love, get help if you know you need it. hold yourself accountable when you mess up. you can start over. you can become a better you. feel everything you need to feel, process this however you need—it’s all valid and warranted. this is very shocking and complicated. it is confusing and heartbreaking.

So I just found footage of Louis yelling for help to stop Harry from serenading him during 18

This is gold.

This is on the 28th of september 2015 and thanks to 3 video angles I put 2 and 2 together and basically screamed once I realised what went down. It’s too good to keep to myself, so I spent some time lining up the vids.

I know this is a little overwhelming so let me explain: Since the start of 18 Harry is not backing the f down (something something anniversary) and keeps glancing in Louis’ direction, but then (1st gif) Louis looks back and they make eyecontact and Liam seems to notice too. 2nd gif looks like Louis is still feeling the eyes on him and is processing. Harry’s about to sing “when we were 18″, the moment he usually glances over, but he’s already done it multiple times now so (3rd gif) Louis gets cheeky and asks Liam for help and (4th gif) Liam then physically blocks Harry from singing to Louis as he sings it.
