Questions I have after reading the Riddle of Ages...aka why there needs to be a book five

First off. Who is Rhonda's husband. Like. Who is he. Also is she having a boy or a girl???

What is Violet like? What's her personality? Please, a few words about her from Mr. Benedict is NOT enough.

How dare there be zero actual older S.Q. scenes??? He should be like 22-23 I wanna see what he's like now. Did he get his memories back? Does he still trip over his words, especially metaphors? Please I need answers

Are the kids ok? I mean? They've gone through so much trauma?? Like??? 3/4 of them were electrocuted??? They've been kidnapped/held hostage more than once?? Constance has almost sacrificed her life twice?? They can't not have PTSD

Also where did Constance's abilities come from? That would've been such a cool plot point and I have some good theories

Does Reynie go to a prestigious college? Does Sticky end up teaching? Will Kate become an agent? That was such an important plot point and yet? no answers? None at all?

Top 3 most gruesome moments in kotlc (that really shouldn’t be in a series dedicated to 12 year olds)

#3 Brant’s showdown with Grady. Grady used his ability to force Brant to burn and melt off his hand using the everblaze Brant was creating. As badass as that was, it was pretty graphic

#2 Sophie and Dex’s kidnapping. Sophie had her arms twisted and burned repeatedly while she was restrained, gagged, drugged and blindfolded. Dex’s torture was carried out off page but was equally as disturbing, with Brant burning his stomach repeatedly while he was locked in a cage (my poor babies)

#1 Sophie and Fitz’s ordeal with Umber in Flashback. Now this experience and the one before this are both equally horrible, the only reason I put this one first is because the healing process for this one took significantly longer. Umber quite literally shattered and mangled Sophie’s arm and Fitz’s leg while leaving scaring echos in her head and in his heart.

was rereading exile recently and apparently it took me 38 rereads of this book to realize that the foster family has a movie night family tradition. popcorn, store bought cookies, curling up on the couch together, the whole shebang. pretty sure it was noted to be a weekly occurrence. this has persisted before and after sophie left the forbidden cities.

call me the grinch the way my heart grew three sizes when i realized that bro. my brain has been going nuts w/ ideas on how to incorporate that into fics lol
