Happy Monday, everyone! How are y'all doing? How's the beginning of the week treating you? Woah... It's been forever since I last did one of these, hasn't it? I hope everyone has been well and taking good care. Make sure you take a break today, let yourself relax before going back to your responsibilities! It's just Monday, there's a whole week ahead of you still! Take it easy, don't rush to get things done, there's time I promise you.

Ah, what has everyone been up to? I've been trying to stay updated! But its been busy over here. What's new with you? Have you picked up any new hobby? Any major change happened? For me it's been the same as always, but different. As an independent artist and producer there's a lot of stuff I have to do on my own for myself, y'know? A few weeks ago I had an interview after months of just being locked in creating– It was quite fun and it was awesome getting to talk to someone about the studio and all the upcoming projects everyone here has going on and even the studio itself!

Not to self promote, but if you're looking to get into music we have this new project about to launch; we're looking for small artists willing to record with us. If you know anyone, let them know!

Personally? Well, you guys know I don't have much of a social life outside work LOL! Luckily for me, I have a little someone that always makes sure I disconnect for a while and create nice memories outside the studio. Do you have a special someone who grounds you and reminds you there's more to life than just existing? Thursday night was date night with my bunny~. I made sure I came home earlier and we had a nice homemade dinner, he of course brought dessert as usual. How could I say no, anyway? His desserts are heaven. His new fixation is growing the largest mushroom ever... You can imagine how the night went! I don't remember the last time I did so much research, but it was probably college and its been years since that. It's ok though, because I love him.

I always get so nervous for some reason, how silly is that? I'm always trying to surprise my bunny somehow and I think at times it feels like I'm running out of ideas. It's still always so easing though, spending time with him. I don't really realize how much of a weight and effect work has on me– I love my job, don't get me wrong, but letting go of it and just enjoying my time with my babyboy? It's just different from anything else in the world... Ah, I'm simping again, ain't I?

Ok, ok, I think this is enough for today! I'll get going now, after all I am at work anyway! I hope everyone can manage to finish their day the best possible way. Remember, trying your best is already enough, and making it through the day is an achievement, you're allowed to be proud of your wins. I'll see you guys around! Stay safe!

I'm rlly late but happy new year everyone!!! ✨🎉 2021 was sort of a year for everyone, uh? Idk about yall but I know for a fact it's been a ~challenging~ year of sorts for me. It's been messy frfr but that's what new years are for, right? the fake sense of a fresh start and organizing your life better 🤩🤩🤩

No, for real though, I hope 2022 treats everyone better, if 2021 has been hard then I hope 2022 goes easy on you, I hope all of you achieve any goals you set for yourselves, I hope you can do and experience all the things maybe you couldn't last year, and I hope that any hardship you have to face this new year is nothing but a learning experience for you 💞 I think it's always important to try and keep a positive mindset even when times are hard or just not ~ideal~, so please always remember there's people willing to help and that cares about you! you just need to reach out ❣

Chan said he just had to finish one track after lunch so we could head back to the studio with him for a bit- Of course that was a trap, hence Channies face. We've been stuck here with this dumbass for the past 3 hours. Do you know how frustrating it is sitting in the same room as Chan when he's on a creative block? He stinks.

That's ok though, we really didn't have shit to do anyway. It's been quiet around here, hasn't it? I guess we've all be busy, kinda away. Maybe busy ain't the word, we never really are we're lazy fucks, but we've been kinda out of it... Things have been good mostly though, I guess? I mean, no one's dead. That's gotta count for something right? Lol.

Venus is huge now, she'll be a year soon, how crazy is that uh... Irene and I are good too, she... She makes me really happy. And the boys are good. So yeah, things are good I guess. It's chill. I'll be gone soon though for a while, peace and quiet and whatnot. Holidays are annoying, I rather not be here.

Chan smiles in awe at the boy next to him, lost in the way the colors of the sunset bring his entire being to life. He looks so warm, so peaceful, so in sync with the world- If he wasn't already whipped, Chan would certainly be now.

Felix's eyes sparkle softly, grin remaining on his face as he speaks words that the wolf doesn't fully catch in time to answer. Suddenly, his eyes are meeting the youngest's, his head tilting as Chan blinks a few times to speak up. "I'm sorry, I wasn't listening..." Chuckling alongside Felix as he jokes about it, his cheeks burning slightly at the tease, the wolf looks away and clears his throat, giving silence a second to settle before he breaks it again. "I have something for you." Reaching for his bag, Chan takes out a wrapped box from it, and attempting poorly to undo some of the wrinkles in the paper he hands it to the boy. "I remember you mentioning once how you wished you could take the forest with you everywhere. I know someone, so I guessed I could- Yeah, I got you some customized forest smelling candles." He laughs as Felix picks up one of the jars inside he box to inspect it curiously, his hands instead resting back on the stone they've been sitting on for the past twenty minutes to relax as the sun finishes setting.

Chans eyes study the sky and sunset for a second before setting again on his boyfriend, deciding at that moment that nothing else in the world could ever beat the sight of his bunny's smile.

People dresses up as things, monsters they say, and they think it's funny. But there's a kid dressed up as a vampire, fangs in sight as he hisses at his friends; and another one is a witch, big pointy hat and cape dead give away of her attempt to resemble one. And there's a small girl too running down the sidewalk, with ears and a tail and claws out like a werewolf. Monsters, in deed.

Chris is walking down the street too, hood on, hands inside his pockets. It's a poor attemp to stay warm, he knows, but it's better than just staying cold. The boy feels weird, unsettled, overly aware. His head aches, he thinks. It feels like it. Looking down, he can't really control what he's doing, his feet moving on their own guiding him somewhere, anywhere. He knows to keep a low profile, especially now. He isn't sure how he knows, but he knows. Things have been happening, he heard around he guesses? People's going missing, hunters have been seen around- Yes. Thats it. No one's certain of what's going on (or maybe no one wants to say it) but whatever it is, you're better safe than sorry. You keep a low profile and you pretend. Chris looks up as his stomach grumbles, the smell of some freshly made pumpkin pie making its way to him as he walks past a bakery.

His reflection stares back on the window, but its not himself who's standing on his place.

In just a second the boy is standing in the woods, the strong smell of something burning replacing the once sweet pie that lingered around him. Here it's hot, but louder, and his eyes water as the place he once called home catches on fire in front of him. Screams so loud his ears could bleed, he watches helplessly as one by one a group of men hunts down his former pack. He watches helplessly as the betas attack back. He watches helplessly as the kids scream, the omegas cry.

Chris looks into the mirror in front of him, the dim light of his bathroom illuminating his restless face and allowing him to take note or the bags under his eyes. If it's true he never sleeps much anyway, this season really does take a toll on him. Having struggled to keep his eyes closed for more than an hour the entire week, the omega washes his face once again in an attempt to wake himself up. Small drops of water frame his face and fall into the sink below him, the cold having, yet again, successfully failed at helping him clear his mind at all. The dream replays over and over inside his head, like an old tape that doesn't make it past the same few seconds and haunts you no matter how much you smack it in just the right place. He's given up on calling the events nightmares anymore, by now having grown numb to the memories. Or so he likes to tell himself.

Venus waits patiently on the couch, curled up on the warm spot the wolf left behind as he made his way to the bathroom some minutes ago, and she purrs gently as he approaches. It's like she knows, maybe she does, and so the boy crouches down, gently petting the feline behind her ears the way she likes.

"Glad to know one of us is having a good day at least, hm? I'm guessing you don't wanna go out with me then? Yeah... I wouldn't want to either."

It's a new habit he's acquired, talking to the cat as if she would ever answer back to him. She does somehow anyway, with her little sounds, the wagging of her tail. Chris has grown to understand her, just like she understands him. if it was just that easy all the time...

It's sunset when Chris hops into his car, heading out of the house for the first time the entire day. He's going nowhere really, but driving regardless. The memories hang heavy on his heart, heavier than usual- It's just the date, he knows it. It'll be over soon and he can pretend everything's alright once again. But right now he just needs to go away, as far as he can, he aches, and he craves the quiet. He craves the clear skies and the fresh air and the empty spaces. It's not until he reaches the beach that he stops, sun almost gone and car parked carelessly in the parking lot as he walks along the shore. It's a cold autumn evening, no one really come this far in this kind of weather, let alone at this time. He sits down when he feels away enough, alone enough, safe enough.

And there he breaks down.

It's heartbreak. Raw and pure. There's things in life you never get over, there's things you never forget. There's some memories that will forever remain intact, time can't break them, can't stain them, can't erase them. Some are good memories, there's no doubt. But more often than not it's heartbreak. It's hurt. It's the ache in your heart as if a piece of it was ripped from you with dirty hands. It's unpleasant, terribly frustrating, an agonizing kind of pain, salt water sneaking into an open wound, a paper cut in between your fingers. It's losing a home, it's having your pillars crumble down, it's losing stability, it's being killed in life. More often than not it's heartbreak, and all you have left to do it's cry.

Cry it out. Shout it out.

Where no one can see and where no one can watch because there's nothing anyone can do ever to fill the void, to fill the missing part. Sometimes all you have left is to cry and learn to be broken.

Chris is unsure how much time has passed by the time his eyes run dry, tears no longer showering his cheeks even though his body continues to shake helplessly as the empty sobs keep hitting his body. His hands are cold, numb almost, and his body stiff. It takes him a minute longer, some of them actually, but he gathers himself back together. The moon shines down upon him, peeking almost, watching curiously as the boy walks back to his car. The clock inside the vehicle marks hours past midnight as he finally turns it on, and with one last shaky sigh he begins to drive back.

He isn't sure where he's heading, mind on autopilot as he focuses on clearing out his eyes, keeping his attention on the road. Scared, alone, he isn't sure where to go. The city lights almost blinds him, as he grows closer they grow stronger, the sounds of the night alive keeping him on edge as he tries to find his way somewhere. Anywhere safe. Anywhere warm. It's his sensory overload, everything growing too much. Things are hazy, and even though he feels lost, he walks out of his car.

Chris isn't sure how he made it there at all, he certainly can't make out anything the woman is saying to him as he walks out the elevator, but there's one thing he knows for certain. There's memories that remain intact. Some are good memories, there's no doubt- And it's the way Irene's arms wrap around his body, the gentle touch of her soft hands on his face as she guides him to her neck, it's the lingering of her scent, so unmistakably hers, and the soft timbre of her voice murmuring against his ear that makes him remember, understand, realize: This is safe. This is warm. And this is home now.

Channie stands victorious over the tired body of his former Alpha, paw on his beared neck pinning him in place, mouths open in a desperate attempt to catch their breaths, chests rising and falling out of sync as the moon finishes making its way to the center of the sky; Clearing now illuminated in its entirety, everyone appreciates the scene in front of them better. The night is cold, slight autumn breeze making its way in-between the shifters and breaking through the silence with a gentle whistle that lingers on everyone's ears a second longer.

It's been a long way, a tiring journey full of bumps and somehow more setbacks than he had ever expected, but everything that has lead to this seems to make sense as the boy stands there, surrounded by fellow Alphas, family, friends, all gathered for him- Cheering for him. All the sleepless nights, the aching muscles, the endless readings and countless stories feel worth it. This is just how it was supposed to be all along. Channie isn't sure how to describe it, it's a rush that goes down his spine and spreads through his body, from head to toe, and it just feels right.

Chan and Chris bkth wait for him from the crowd; They know better than anyone the pressure, the fear, the nerves that he felt. It was the late night calls, the begs for help, and the deep talks for them. All the things Channie wouldn't tell anyone else. But it's also the way his eyes shine, his posture straightens, the way he looks up, at the moon, and they know.

A howl, strong and loud breaks through the silence, echoes in the darkness and finally puts an end to the longest period of Channie's life.

He's an alpha now.
