it's been two years today since i adopted my cat who i love so much and i never imagined i'd get to do something like that and last night i was more vulnerable with a friend than i have ever been in my entire life and i finally got some answers and medication for my physical health a few days ago and maybe it still feels weird to imagine having a future but i am still here i am alive i am alive i will live

extensive lore dropped. big emotional conversation had. i feel like i just dreamed it all but i did That. i said All Of That. wwoaw
#head hurt so bad. so dizzy. desire to share vs desire to hide i guess. relief and also panic. so messy#i learned a lot of things about my life were a lot more messed up than i thought !#not sharing my full lore here but. i kind of just compared things in my life as 'this was the Worst Thing and everything else wasnt bad'#but friend told me just how much of it all counts as trauma. i still feel so strange using that word#maybe because i didnt want to be a person who had suffered or a person with trauma. i just wanted to be 'simple' growing up#but :')) i am going to have to heal in so so so many different directions. its all so overwhelming#but also the reassurance that i shouldnt be ashamed. and memory blanks don't mean that i am 'less affected' by it all#i was just a child. lacking support dealing with so much. and other people's actions were never never my fault#i talked about the therapy tactics ive been researching on my own and asked questions about confusing things#i dont want to be using my friend as a therapist to fix everything but i also dont want to hide Everything about myself anymore#trying to find balance. friend reassured me ive never overstepped boundaries and they were so happy i trusted enough to share#they advised me on what i can do on my own Now and what sorts of things i should wait to work on with a professional#i feel so strange. everything feels so strange. that all actually happened. not a dream. i said All Of That in Real Life#everything is going to be okay. overwhelming and all over the place for a while but ultimately okay :')#i feel a little bit like i betrayed myself sharing so much. but i could never have kept everything to myself forever#this is good. it also feels bad. but also good. brains are so strange#personal musings#funniest things were 1. friend saying they always expected SOME kind of messed up lore from me#i thought i was doing sooo good at being Ordinary but i guess it circled back around to being Suspicious#and 2. friend going HOW ARE YOU ALIVE. glad that i was alive but also like. how. we giggled a lot#that happened!!! that happened!!! i still am in disbelief about it all. but it happened. i am loved :'D
