kerdly fanfic idea: after starting to date Kris, Berdly has taken a lot of time to research humans in order to better understand them. however, Berdly doesn't know what's in their pants, but he does know humans around their age apparently have a period once a month.

after three months without a period, Berdly has come to the conclusion that he must've somehow gotten Kris pregnant.

they have not been more intimate than handholding and cheek kisses.

so melon was created in-universe as a vocaloid (or equivalent) ripoff. they're *very* recent technology compared to spamton and tenna (well... early 2000s, but spamton was big in 1997, melon wasn't even a dream back then)

so they're young and also stupid by design. tgey'd probably be so confused about older technology like 90s internet and *especially* television. poor tenna is not going to leave unscathed from melon's completely well-meaning questions

i do think they'd be really interested in learning more but also like- imagine.

anyways unrelated, i do enjoy mettatenna, but i think i'd leave it out for the purposes of my overarching deltarune au. this is actually just me being lazy to figure out how to have both mettatenna and spamtenna+melon in the same universe. i'm already struggling enough with the logistics of pre-canon dark worlds. deltarune mettaton is not in the story at all, but i'm imagining him dating my other oc peach through the internet in honor of them dating in one of my undertale fics.

peach and melon both being named after fruit is just a coincidence btw don't question it.

btw there's only one (technically three but they're all part of a series) spamtenna x reader fic and unfortunately it's not one i can insert melon into as my reader insert :( might still read it but y'know i'm allowed to be sad over having to make my own food (jkjk)
