Will you understand my disabilities effect every little thing about Me? Will you accept and love me for me?

I don’t want you to die for me, or kill for me. I want you to actually be with me. Change, adapt, understand. That’s actually love, you can die and kill for anyone, you can’t try to change for anyone.

You can always tell when someone's never had actual depression when their advice on how to get out of it is "stop waiting for inspiration, you're never going to be in the right mood to want to do it, just do it when you don't want to." And the concept that forcing yourself to force yourself to do something you don't want to do, when you don't want the goal in the first place, is actually harder than just simply forcing youself to just do something. It's a "why don't the poor just buy more money" sort of a situation.

Jogging fixes wheelchair problems. You can't will yourself to live if you have no will to live.

not to be a hedonist but. pleasure IS the whole point, my loves. we are made for pleasure. humans have not survived out of spite or sheer grit or simply to make more humans. we live for pleasure. the pleasure of licking the last delicious crumbs off your fingers and feeling sunlight on your skin and massaging a loved one's shoulders. we're made to fill our bellies with delicious food, to nap in soft grass, to touch each other in joy and comfort.

there is no shame or guilt in our bodies doing what they were made to do. and we are made for pleasure.

it's not that I need a quiet day or a day off exactly; it's that I need a pocket of time that exists entirely outside of linear time as we know it that would allow me to get things done without time passing in the real world, and frankly, I don't think that's too much to ask.

I hate how acknowledging unfairness in the world is seen as "childish". Maybe children are right. I don't think you should be proud of the fact that you've become complacent with the state of your miserable existence and took on this loser "it is what it is" mentality. Things can be better.

Unpopular opinion: All games should have the option to enable pausing.

And to save almost everywhere.

Yes even in soulslike games.

I am an adult who has a full time job and responsibilities. I get to play maybe an hour a week. I do not want to lose that hour of progress because devs decided 'pause' was not allowed in their game and I had sudden unexpected things come up that meant I had to quit the game without saving/leave it playing and hope enemies wouldn't respawn.

Also it would massively increase accessability. I have fully working non-injured hands and they still need a break after a tough boss fight. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for people with joint pain, arthritis, etc, etc.

like idk theres something rly sad to me about "i could make this" as a derogatory statement abt art. like, that's really the state of it, huh, where the average person imagines themselves so disconnected from art and creation that a comparison between an artist and them automatically brings the artist down. people can make art. you can make art.
