Look at all my skeletons!
First is a quoll, which can be found here and here if you’re a fan of marsupials.
Second is a panther chameleon which is here and here if you’re a lizard fan.
Finally a bar-tailed godwit here and here if you love high endurance birds.

So here’s the culmination of all my skeletons, pivot points, and muscle studies. There’s a quoll, a godwit, and a chameleon, then my fictional creature based on all three: the vedertosk.

Happy Halloween season! Here's another stab at my own take of Carrie White, based on her book description. I'm super happy with how these turned out! I'd love to tackle some of the other characters in the book eventually, especially Margaret!

SpaceDancer asked for hollow wolves over on patreon, so here we are.
Ever wonder where the term, ‘howling wind’, comes from? I mean, it probably comes from the obvious fact that strong winds sometimes make howling sounds, but also ~*Wind Spirits*~. Which is really just a fancy name for a creature who’s half regular mortal and half elemental horror terror. Like a demi-god with less perks and probably divorced parents because elemental horror terrors make terrible partners in the long run.
This is Awhaula. And yes, she can appear as something more humanoid than a spooky living wolf skin filled with air, but also? Why bother unless she has to? Spooky living wolf skin is a strong aesthetic choice than not many people can claim. She also saves a lot of money on clothes and a lot of spoons not having to talk to people who are put off by the spooky living wolf skin thing.
She doesn’t have eyes but that’s fine because she has a kind of 'sight’ that is basically interpreting shapes by how air moves around them when she breathes. She can 'see’ pretty well no matter what form she’s in, but in this form one big precision exhale can give her the layout of every non-airtight room in a building or even miles out in an open space. She doesn’t do that often though. Lotta info to process if she goes too big and it can get confusing if natural winds are feeling spicy that day.
Please no Big Bad Wolf jokes. This woman is Tired. She has had Enough.
