Our Ludum Dare 47 game is called Alter-Nate and its a very serious game, not at all something involving mad scientists and parallel universes in which people turn into Duck Men.

But i absolutely love these designs so far (Duck got a bit more tweaking after this screenshot) and I'm super excited.

hello i am here today to not lose track of the art cheats i have discovered over the years. what i call art cheat is actually a cool filter/coloring style/way to shade/etc. that singlehandedly makes art like 20 times better

I know these are ugly and cringey - that’s because they’re from 2010. :’D

I’m totally having a weird moment here right now, like, a really huge wave of sadness over this comic just ending like it did and sometimes I miss my good old Tonrad shipping days ‘cause they are the only non-canon pairing of any media that I ever shipped in my entire life. To this day I can’t bring myself to ship anything that isn’t canon (unless it’s, like, !HEAVILY! implied and hinted at, lol) but these two really hit a nerve and thus became the grand exception. I loved the contrast of their personalities as well as the Vampire x Werewolf thing and also how these two look next to each other.

Maybe I’m gonna draw them again at some point, I’m curious how the characters would look in my 2019 style… which is still dumb but not as much. xD
