✯ ~ // Hey, so most people probably won’t remember me, or thought I vanished into thin air. I was around back in the beginning of 2016 and really enjoyed RPing Clarke! Had something good going, and then went through a very difficult time in my life which meant I took an indefinite hiatus. 

     A lot has now changed for the better and I have every intention of returning to this account in the coming weeks. I had completely forgotten my email and my url and spent the past hour and a half scrounging around until I found everything. When I do come back, once I am all caught up on the show (I haven’t watched since mid s3), I will start over fresh with those who would like to RP with me. 

     I look forward to meeting more people and being active here again!

So I just wanted to do something nice for the Clarkes in this fandom. I know that RPing a main character can get stressful, especially when the fandom is as expansive as this one. And while this is true of any of my followers ( or anyone at all really ), I feel like you all deserve a special shout out because Abby would be nothing without you. Not only is Clarke the lifeblood that keeps my mama lioness going, but you all are the lifeblood that keeps my blog going.

       it took all the strength abby had to swallow her emotions. she’d never been good at letting her head win over her HEART, but she knew that in this case, if she took the easy way out and did what she wanted to do, everybody in arkadia would definitely die. clarke was only making this more DIFFICULT. ❝ believe me, clarke, i wish i could…more than anything, but…you stayed in polis because you were needed there to protect our people. i need to stay HERE for the same reason. ❞ 

     “Can’t Kane do that on his own?” Clarke knew there was really no use asking. Her mother was Arkadia’s best doctor and one of the few people who saw through Pike’s short-sightedness. If she left there really would be no HOPE for any of them. 

      Shaking her head in defeat, Clarke closed her eyes momentarily. “I know our people need you, but I don’t--” She swallowed heavily, “--I don’t want to lose you too.”

    “we didn’t stop being friends, clarke. you do know      whatever you do, it won’t change that, right?”

Clarke’s smile grew. She was relieved that their friendship wasn’t BROKEN like she feared it might be. In a time where she felt she was losing everyone in some way or another, it felt good that some people wouldn’t leave, even if she had left them in the past.       “Okay. I don’t want to upset you like that again though.       I’ll do whatever I can not to let that happen AGAIN.”

✯ ~ //You may have noticed I have only been doing a couple of replies per day recently, so I felt the need to make this official.

I am right in the middle of a busy semester at University. I am applying for placements for next year and have two assignment deadlines coming up which I haven’t had time to even plan yet. So, for the next couple of weeks, along with a busy class schedule, I’m going to be focussing on assignments/applications. I will be here, so it isn’t a full hiatus, I just won’t be cranking out replies, and you can expect me to take a while to reply. I’m finding that even when I do have time to be here I am so tired that I am falling asleep at the screen.

I’ve been RPing as Clarke for nearly a month (I think) and I’ve loved every second, and the people I have met and made friends with are the best! Once the 17th rolls around, I’ll be on break for 3 weeks, with no deadlines looming and just some books to read. I’m looking forward to then, but for now, I will be slow. <33

     The tightening digits around her own grounded her, a reminder to herself that she had in fact survived. Never would she admit that she had been SCARED—- scared of leaving the blonde standing before her behind despite what she believed for the fate of her soul.

    “There was no need for you to be, I assure you,” she spoke softly, barely above a whisper, in an attempt to comfort Clarke. Her eyes fell to their joined hands, locked on the moving thumb that was sending chills through her body. “Now you’ll know not to question my prowess in the future.”

     Clarke’s fingers lingered lightly over where she knew the deep gash lay, just below a layer of bandage. Her thumb ran gently over it a final time, before she reluctantly released Lexa’s hand. She CARED about the brunette more than she would admit out loud, but wasn’t sure she was ready for anything more. 

     She had expressed this months ago. Now, there was a new reason, though the pain wasn’t as raw as it had been.

     “I can see that now, and I won’t. You certainly proved to everyone you can take care of yourself. I wouldn’t dare question you after that.” A smirk pulled at Clarke’s lips, teasing evident in her tone as she edged her gaze upwards.

     “I do know that.” Clarke squeezed her eyes closed as her mother kissed her forehead, and sniffled sharply before opening them. She didn’t want to appear completely BROKEN, no matter what she felt inside. “It’s just not easy to talk about -- with anyone.” Mostly, she returned to Arkadia because she missed her mother and friends. She didn’t want to be alone any longer, but she wasn’t sure whether she was quite ready to talk about everything that had happened.

     “I’m PROUD of you too, Mom,” Clarke added after a short pause, realising she hadn’t said that enough - or at all - over the time they had been on the ground. “You’re a great doctor, but you’re a pretty good Chancellor as well.” The corner of her lips lifted into a smile; slightly forced, but not at all fake. “I want you to know that.”
