Fem!reader x Isaac Garcia
Summary:
You're struggeling to find a date for the summer ball
⥠⥠âĄ
When the teachers first announced the summer ball, you didnât think it would be such a big deal to you.
School dances are never really that cool after all.
Especially with the teachers around who always find a way to destroy the mood: Either by constantly keeping an eye on the drinks to make sure nobody manages to slip some alcohol in, or by trying to make (really awkward) conversations with their students.
At least, that were your experiences in your former high school.
Maybe here in Colorado things are different, because somehow all of your friends are super excited.
And it´s really contagious!
To your own surprise - a few days later you are pretty excited, too.
One of the major topics among the students (other than which dress would be the perfect fit) is, of course, who will go together.
There are quite a few cute boys in your school and some of them are also very popular among the girls.
Of course most of the girls are all over Cole Walter, the cool guy, the bad boy.
This is going to be really interesting, especially because of the tension between him and Jackie. You can almost bet that he'll ask her, not caring if this will break both Erin's and Alex' heart.
In the meantime, you are secretly hoping for being asked by Isaac.
In school the both of you don't really cross paths, but whenever you visit Jackie, you always end up playing at least one video game with him. He just always seems to be there, whether you and Jackie hang out in the living room or grab some snacks from the kitchen. He appears out of nowhere and always jokes around with you.
While Jackie reacts really annoyed most of the times, you enjoy his company.
"Why is he always there? Katherine promised that we can have the living room this afternoon!"
Most of the time you just shrug. "I don't mind him staying. Maybe our movie choice will scare him away anyways."
Well, most of the time it didn't. No matter what kind of film you chose, Isaac stayed. To your surprise he didn't even play games on his smartphone but actually paid attention.
"That's the kind of films you like?" He asked you once after you and Jackie watched a sappy love story.
"Among other things, yes."
He seemed surprised but didn't say anything about it.
Â
⥠⥠âĄ
The weeks pass by pretty fast and most of the handsome boys are already taken.
As far as you heard, Isaac doesn't have a date yet but with his good looks it's only a matter of time until he is taken, too.
You start to get really nervous, as you don't know what to do. Should you wait until he makes the first move - if he even plans on asking you - or should you take action yourself?
Do you even have the courage to ask someone out?
God, why does it have to be so complicated?
You think about asking your friends for their opinion, but first of all this would mean admitting your crush on Isaac to Jackie - and since she basically lives with him this would be very weird.
Second, all your friends were busy preparing their own dates. All they talk about are dresses, high heels and how their perfect evening at the ball would look like.
To be honest, they had pretty high expectations, but for them it was at least realistic.
Unlike you, Jackie doesn't give up that easily when it comes to your date.
"Someone will ask you, you'll see!", she smiles at you as you and your friends enter the ball gown shop. âYou´ll regret it when someone asks you and you don´t have a dress. Trust me, the best ones will be taken in a few days.â
Damn, she can be really convincing and she knows it!
⥠⥠âĄ
Three days until the ball and still nobody even seems to think about asking you out.
Slowly you start to get really nervous.
Why does no one ask you?
You have never been insecure about your looks but this situation really makes you doubt. Are you that unattractive? Or is it your personality? Do you annoy people?
Your excitement for buying a beautiful dress and having a wonderful night slowly fades and turns into anxiety.
Why did you even buy a dress⌠was is arrogant to buy one without having a date, because you thought of course someone would ask you?
Jackie really tries her best to cheer you up, but nothing she says makes you feel better.
You curl up in her bed, hugging her pillow tight to your chest. âI´m not going to the ball⌠it´s embarrassing to show up aloneâŚâ
âI´m sure somebody will ask you. Maybe he´s just nervous.â
"Don't be ridiculous! There are only three days left. All the guys who don't have a date yet, are not going."
"Don't lose hope! Somebody will ask you for sure!"
Jackie and your other friends have been telling you the exact same thing for almost two weeks now.
In the beginning you were very confident and believed them, but with every day and as everyone else in your friend group got a date, you slowly start to lose hope.
And now you are convinced that nobody is gonna ask you.
âMaybe I´m just ugly.â
Jackie lies down next to you and pulls you into a comforting hug. âY/N L/N, don´t you dare to even think that!â
For a while you stay quiet, trying to find comfort in Jackys words⌠until your thoughts mess with your head again.
But what if it´s true? What if you´re really ugly?
âI know it´s stupidâ, you start again, repeating what you already said several times, âIt´s just a ball, maybe I shouldn´t make such a big deal out of it.â
Jackie hugs you a little tighter, her chin resting on your shoulder. âIt´s not stupid⌠I totally understand how you feel.â
Does she really? From what you know, Alex and Cole almost started a fight about who´s going to be her date. You can´t help but feel jealous off her. She has boys fighting over her and no one even thinks about asking you. It is like you are invisible.
Damn, seems like all your favorite high school movies lied! Just because you moved here at the beginning of the school year, it doesn´t make you more interesting among the boys.
But on the other hand⌠for Jacky the new girl fantasy is true.
âHey, we can go together if you wantâ, Jacky starts another attempt and grabs your hand, pulling you to your feet.
A broad smile spreads across her face as she intertwines your fingers and whirls you around, pretending to be on the dance floor already. âWe would definitely make the prettiest couple!â
You can´t help but laugh as you pretend to bow and place a quick kiss on her hand. âMylady!â
This is again one of those moments, in which you realize how much you love Jackie. She is an amazing friend and probably the only one who always knows how to cheer you up.
With a grin she rises an eyebrow. âSo we have a date?â
The smile disappears from your face as you sit back down on her bed. âNo, I don´t want to crash your date with Alex.â
âDon´t worry about him, I´m sure, he´ll understand. I can go out with him another time.â
âNo, it´s⌠it´s fine. Maybe I don´t even have time to go to the ballâ
Lies and excuses. You don´t really think about your words as you babble on about what you plan to do instead. Maybe you could call your old friends from your hometown. Maybe you could watch a movie with your siblings. Maybe⌠you stop mid thought.
Are you trying to convince Jacky that you´ll be just fine or are you trying to convince yourself?
You feel the tears welling up in your eyes.
Quickly you jump to your feet again. The last thing you want is to cry in front of Jacky. It would make her feel even worse. Besides, you really hated crying in front of others.
Murmuring something about having to go to the bathroom, you rush out of her room and almost bump into Lee.
âY/N!â He sounds surprised but happy to see you. The two of you aren´t close enough that you would call him your friend, but you always enjoy talking to him whenever you see him in school or at the Walters´ house.
âHi, Leeâ, you murmur, your voice sounding way too high and on the edge of breaking. Quickly you turn away from him, trying to hide your tears, but he still seems to notice.
His smile fades. âHey, what´s wrong?â
âIt´s nothingâŚâ You try to walk past him, but he blocks your way.
âIt´s not nothing! You can tell me, you know?â
âIt´s stupid⌠it´s justâŚâ You sigh heavily. âIt´s about the ball⌠nobody has asked me yet and that really messes with my head. I just don´t understand it. Do boys really hate me that much?â
You do not really expect an answer, but then you see Lee´s face. His eyes widen, as if he just came to a realization. âEm⌠I don´tâŚâ
âYou know what´s up!â You stare at him in disbelief. âTell me!â
âI´m not sure if IâŚâ
âTELL ME!â
Lee sighs heavily. âOkay, maybe I know somethingâŚâ
You cross your arms in front of your chest and give him a suspicious look. âWhat is it? Oh come one, spit it out!â
His hesitation annoys you deeply, as you were never the calm and patient type.
Lee avoids to look you in the eye and stares at his shoes instead. âMaybe it´s just a rumor but⌠I heard that Isaac tells boys to not ask you to the ball.â
Your jaw drops. âHe what?â
Lee couldn´t look more uncomfortable. âWell⌠I heard Dylan telling his friends, that he wants to ask you to the ball and... when Isaac heard that, he told him that you definitely didn´t want to go with him. He said that you were really picky when it came to boys and⌠that you always made fun of the boys that you rejected⌠saying how pathetic they are and that you are totally out of their league.â
Your heart clenches inside your chest and the feeling of betrayal rises inside you. It hurts to hear how Isaac talks about you behind your back.
You´ve always thought he was cool and the two of you always got along well, damn it, you even have a crush on him.
âThank you, Lee, and if you excuse me now, I have to talk to your brother!â Your voice trembles with anger.
Before Lee can stop you or talk you out of it â which he desperately tries â you stomp down the stairs. âISAAC GARCIA!â
Damn, you didn´t know you could sound so scary.
Isaac hesitantly comes out of the living room and as he sees you he immediately runs a hand through his hair. He always does that when you´re around, but you never really paid much attention to it until today.
His face freezes as he sees you angrily making your way towards him. âY/N, what´s up?â
This question finally breaks the camel´s back.
He knows exactly what´s up! Why is he acting so innocent?
Without even considering to greet him or to answer his question, you glare at him. âI hate you!â
He looks at you in shock, his coolness falling off him like a mask. You´ve never seen him this flabbergasted before. With a deep frown, he opens his mouth, about to say something, but you don´t plan to give him the opportunity for questions and excuses.
You turn around and storm out of the room.
âY/N!â He rushes after you and before you can reach the stairs, he grabs your wrist and forces you to turn towards him. âWhat´s wrong? What did I do?â
âWhat you did?!â You break free from his grip and step back, away from him. âYou told guys not to ask me to the ball! Can you even imagine how that made me feel? What the hell is wrong with you?â
You try not to shout but the pent-up-anger makes that impossible. If his cousins are home, they definitely heard that. You also wouldn't be surprised if Jackie came downstairs to check on you. Luckily, in that moment you couldn´t care less.
Isaac clearly looks caught. He rises his hands in a defensive gesture. âOkay, you can hate me but please let me explain.â
Does he really think there was a good explanation for this messed up stuff he did? You never thought he could be so manipulative.
âI already know the reason! You´re an idiot!â
âYesâŚâ He avoids looking at you and stares at the floor instead. âBut there´s also another reason.â Again, he runs a hand through his hair and you are surprised to see his fingers trembling. âI told the boys not to ask you, because⌠I wanted to ask you.â
You feel like you´ve just been hit by a train. Before you realize it, an incredulous laugh escapes your lips.
What did he just say?
You wait for him to laugh too and say it was just a joke â a mean one, but after what Lee just told you, exactly the type of joke you´d expect from him â but instead he lowers his gaze to the ground, clearly hurt by your reaction.
You freeze in your spot, anger slowly turning into confusion. âWhy didn´t you just ask me then?â
Your voice sounds much softer now, almost like a whisper, but Isaac still can´t look at you.
âI wanted to but⌠I got nervous andâŚâ He sighs deeply as he runs out of words to say. âI heard Steve say that he wanted to ask you and I panicked so⌠I told him not to do it.â
âYou´re such an idiotâ You barely realize the words that escape your lips.
It just doesn´t make sense! Isaac is not someone who gets nervous or jealous â at least that´s what you always thought. He is way too cool for that â or is that just him pretending?
âYeah, because I´m in love with you.â
It takes you a few seconds to realize what he just said.
Isaac Garcia confessing his feelings for you had been your dream for almost a year now. A few weeks ago you would have been floating on clouds, but now you don't know what to answer.
Isaac steps closer, looking at you desperately. "I know I messed up but I'm really really sorry. If you want, I can talk to the boys again and tell them the truth."
"You're in love with me?" You repeat his words, still not being able to believe it.
He looks taken aback, clearly not expecting this to be your focus. "Yes, I am."
Slowly you step closer and grab his hand. "Ever since the teachers announced the ball, I was hoping you'd ask me to go with you."
His eyes widen in surprise. "Really?"
Another laugh escapes your mouth. Was he really that oblivious? "Yes! To be honest, I was pretty sure you knew about my crush on you."
"You have a crush on me?" He can't help it, his face lights up like a Christmas tree.
"Wasn't that obvious?"
"No! Damn, if I knew, I would have asked you to be my date for the ball on the very first day."
"You can ask me now." You lift your chin and look at him with a playful smile.
He clears his throat, trying to be formal and keep a straight face. "Y/N L/N, do you want to be my date for the ball?"
"I'd love to."
A huge smile on his face, he steps closer, placing his hands on your hips as he pulls you in for a kiss.
You've been waiting for this moment for so long, you can't wait to feel his lips against yours. And when your lips finally meet, it feels like a fairy tale come true.
His kiss is soft but passionate, sending a pleasant tingling sensation through your body.
His grip gets more firm, almost as if he is afraid you'd change your mind and back away.
To reassure him, you wrap your arms around him, one of your hands softly stroking his hair.
Time stands still. You don't know for sure how long the kiss lasts, but finally you let go of him slowly and look at him, shaking your head with a smile. "I love you, Isaac Garcia, but you're still an idiot!"
"I'm your idiot"

(aka Sebastian constantly annoying Ominis bc he can't stop talking about MC)

Pairing:
Sebastian Sallow x fem!slytherin!reader
â˘â˘â˘
It started the very first day.
After Sebastian had talked to you in the Slytherin common room he couldn't stop thinking about that mysterious new girl.
Actually he had planned to read more about a potential antidote for Anne that evening, but he couldn't concentrate anymore.
For hours he was staring at the pages until he finally realized it's no use.
Lost in thought he stormed into his dormotory where Ominis was just getting ready for bed. "How can I befriend the new girl?"
"Is this a serious question? You never worried about making friends before."
"Just answer my question."
Ominis shrugged. "Well, she's new here. You could offer to show her around."
A grin appeared on Sebastian's face. "Sounds like a plan. I'll talk to Professor Weasley about it tomorrow."
â˘â˘â˘
Some days later, after he lost your duel in Professor Hecat's class, Sebastian didn't seem pissed at all - which surprised Ominis very much.
Sebastian hated losing, in fact he acted like a little kid about to throw a tantrum.
Ominis had to step in multiple times to save his classmates or the ancient furniture. But you. Sebastian didn't seem angry at all. On the contrary, he seemed to like you even more. He just couldn't shut up about your good technique.
"She's a brilliant duelist. I didn't have a chance. Amazing technique!"
This was the first time Ominis suspected that his friend might have a crush on you.
â˘â˘â˘
However, Ominis decided not to talk to him about it - not yet. After all, he wasn't sure if Sebastian himself had noticed it.
Ominis decided to give him a little more time... until Sebastian accompanied you to Hogsmeade and the two of you DEFEATED A TROLL.
He couldn't believe it when Sebastian told him about it during dinner. The way he described you and your fighting skills, so detailed, so excited.
He was so busy with talking that he almost forgot to eat. Some of the other students that were sitting near them giggled as they watched him.
Imelda showed her typical grin. "Sounds like someone is in love", she teased.
Sebastian stared at her as if he had just realized that she might be right. As if it wasn't obvious to him before.
â˘â˘â˘
A few days later Sebastian told Ominis about his feelings for you for the first time. He seemed to have fallen fast and hard.
"Ominis, I guess I'm in love with her."
Ominis facepalmed. "Oh, really? What a surprise."
"I've never met someone like her before. You have to meet her! I've got a feeling that she'll bring lots of adventure."
So a few days later, Sebastian introduced you to each other.
â˘â˘â˘
From that day on, you were Sebastian's main topic.
Whenever he hung out with Ominis, you were all he talked about.
After you had met Ominis and the two of you became friends, it got a little easier. Since you three were together most of the time, Sebastian couldn't simp about you anymore. What a relief!
Ominis made sure you were always around. You two got along very well and he really liked you.
You shared the same sense of humor, you liked reading and often read to him and you often told him about your life before Hogwarts.
It didn't take long until Sebastian got jealous. "Are you trying to steal her away from me?"
This was the first time in years that Ominis felt anger burning inside him. "Do you really think I would ever do that? Do you really think I'm such a bad friend?"
Immediately Sebastian felt guilty. "I'm sorry, I didn't..."
Ominis nodded. "It's okay and just that you know... she's like a sister to me."
â˘â˘â˘
Whenever it was just the two of them and Seb sighed Ominis was just ignoring it.
He was naive enough to ask what was wrong the first time and.... never again. He didn't get one hour of sleep that night.
Unfortunately Seb never took Ominis' silence as an answer. He walked up straight to his bed in the middle of the night, sat down on the edge and sighed again heavily.
Annoyed Ominis turned around and sat up with an extra exaggerated yawn, but of course Seb didn't care.
As soon as he saw that Ominis was awake he started.
Ominis didn't even have to say the annoyed "what?"
"It's just... she's hanging out with Garreth a lot lately and..."
"Yeah because that's what friends do. They hang out together."
"I don't think Garreth wants to be just friends."
They've had this conversation a million times already. Ominis didn't know what to say anymore, it didn't matter anyway, as Sebastian wouldn't listen to his tips. He never did.
"Seb just go to sleep."
"You studied together this afternoon, didn't you? Did she say something about me?"
"Yeah, that you're annoying."
"Come on, tell me what she really said."
"She did say that. Also she thinks that you're stubborn but a good friend."
"Did she sound like she liked me? As more than a friend, you know."
Ominis let out an annoyed growl. "You are aware that I'm trying to sleep?"
"Did she sound like she liked me?"
"FOR MERLIN'S SAKE! Go to sleep, maybe I'll tell you tomorrow. "
â˘â˘â˘
To be honest, Ominis was pretty sure that you liked Sebastian.
You had never said anything like that but he had enough of other evidence.
Being blind made you pay attention to the details after all. For example how your way of speaking changed whenever Sebastian came around.
Your voice got a little higher, you talked faster and he was pretty sure he could hear you smiling the whole time.
Damn, he was pretty sure the two of you were looking at each other like lovesick idiots and were still completely oblivious. It was frustrating!
â˘â˘â˘
When Sebastian finally found the courage to plan his confession, of course he annoyed Ominis again.
Why the hell did he think Ominis knew everything about girls and how to tell them he's in love?
Ominis didn't have a girlfriend and he also wasn't the girls' number one crush.
Nevertheless Sebastian thought he was the perfect contact person for this. "Ominis, please, I don't know what to say."
"Trust your instincts, you're good with words."
Ominis himself wasn't sure if that's a good tip to give. Yes, Sebastian was charming, but around you he acts either like a total jerk or a player. And from what he knew about you, he could tell for sure that you wouldn't wanna date a player.
"Maybe you should act more like a gentleman around her", he corrected himself.
Sebastian seemed offended. "I am a gentleman. I'm charming."
"You don't seem like a gentlemen, you seem like a flirt. Today you said ăbella ciaoă to her and winked at her."
Sebastian grimaced. "Yeah, but sometimes I do act like a gentleman. I always accompany her to her classes, I carry her books and I give her my notes when she skips classes again."
"Okay, then slip in subtle hints of liking her."
"I saved her from detention when Peeves caught us in the forbidden section of the library. Does she really think I would do that for everyone?"
â˘â˘â˘
The following night was again a living nightmare for Ominis.
He had barely fallen asleep when he heard Seb (who had been tossing and turning in his bed the whole time) calling out his name. "Ominis, are you awake?"
"What do you want?" At this point Ominis didn't even try to hide the fact that he was annoyed.
"I'm not sure if I should really confess tomorrow... I mean... what should I say?"
"Trust me... when you're standing in front of her, you'll know."
The truth was, Ominis wasn't sure about this advice, he actually just wanted Seb to shut up and let him sleep.
On top of that, he was pretty sure, you liked Seb, so there was no reason for him to be nervous.
"But Ominis, she's way out of my league. She's incredibly smart and talented. She's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen and have you seen the way she smiles when she..."
"Okay, enough!" Ominis sat up and sighed heavily, giving up a fight he couldn't win anyway. "Maybe you should imagine you're talking to me. Say it exactly the way you tell me about her."
For a moment Seb was quiet, which Ominis thought to be a good sign.
"Okay, I'll try. But Ominis..."
"SEBASTIAN SALLOW, I SWEAR TO MERLIN, ONE MORE WORD AND I'LL..."
â˘â˘â˘
The next day, Seb was waiting for you in the common room.
It was a pretty nice day, so most of the people were outside, only a couple of first years were sitting at a table, giggling and laughing.
"Fuck, I'm nervous...", Sebastian murmured, running a hand through his hair.
"Hey" Ominis smiled "You don't need to be."
"Can I practise before she comes in?"
Ominis grimaced. "Okay, if that's what it takes for you to leave me alone..."
"Yeah, I promise..." Sebastian cleared his throat and ran a hand through his hair. "Okay... there is something that I want to tell you. First of all, you're amazing! You're the bravest and most talented person I've ever met. You're the only one who can beat me at a duel. And.... I'm not sure if this will ruin our friendship but I think I'm in love with you."
You rose your eyebrow, an amused smile on your lips. "Wow, I didn't know you could be that romantic."
Sebastian whirled around, his face as red as the Gryffindor's flag. "Y/N! You're... here..."
You can't help but laugh. You've never seen him this embarrassed before. "Yeah, you asked me to come, remember?"
"Hi Y/N", Ominis greeted you with a smile, before stepping back and signalling for Seb to go on.
"So... I... I wanted to tell you something", Seb started, struggeling to find the right words. He didn't expect you to show up so early, catching him completely unprepared.
Your gace darted from Ominis to Seb. Why was he acting so weird. "Does it have something to do with your confession to Ominis?"
Again, Seb's head turned bright red. "Well, actually... that confession was for you."
You looked at him completely startled. It was for you? Everything he said about falling in love and ruining your friendship?
It was your dream come true.
Nevertheless you tried to play it cool, rising an eyebrow and shooting him a grin. "Oh and you confused me with him because we look so alike?"
At first Sebastian looked at you confused, but as he realized you were joking, he became more relaxed. "Yep, you really do. Are you sure you're not twins?"
"Not exactly."
Both of you laughed, then Sebastian stepped closer, softly grabbing your hand. "Okay, I guess I have to make sure to confess to the right person this time... Y/N, I've been in love with you for quite a while now and... I wanted to ask if you want to go on a date with me."
Damn his smile, his charming smile.
"I would love to", you smile back and Sebastian's face lights up like a Christmas tree.
You step closer to him, intertwining your fingers behind his neck while pulling him down towards you.
You can feel a firework exploding in your chest, when your lips finally collide. His kiss is soft and sweet at first but starts to become more passionate pretty fast.
You couldn't believe it. You were really kissing Sebastian Sallow!
Ominis clears his throat and the two of you let go of each other. "I might not be able to see you, but that doesn't mean that I can't hear you snogging."
Both of you blush deeply and giggle. "Sorry, Ominis!"

How the Hargreeves siblings would react to walking in on you

Hargreeves!reader
Summary:
Your romantic date with your significant other ends up in bed.
Your siblings sadly don't feel the need to knock before entering your room.
There's nothing more to say
Luther:
He´s a blushing and stuttering mess.
âOh shit!â, he screams out, covering his eyes with his hand and turning around to give you your privacy.
âI´m so sorry, Y/N⌠I didn´t mean to⌠I just wanted to ask you⌠I´m sorry, I justâŚâ
Instead of leaving, he remains on his spot, not knowing what to do or say â maybe because he completely forgot the question he wanted to ask you.
âLutherâ, you finally interrupt his stuttering in a soft but firm tone, âI´ll talk to you later, okay?â
It takes him a few seconds but finally he understands the sign and leaves (not without bumping into the doorframe on his way out).
He´ll definitely never open your door again without knocking and waiting for you to shout âCome in!â
â â â
Â
Klaus & Ben:
Klaus is quite the opposite.
Instead of leaving or even turning away, he just stands there in the doorframe with an amused grin on his face, completely oblivious that you´re embarrassed and want him to leave.
âOh who´s that?â, he asks while trying to get a glimpse of your lover.
Ben â although being a ghost and therefore being invisible to you â covers his eyes. âAnd that´s why I told you to knock.â
âOh shut up! You´re such a know it all!â
âWell, it could have saved Y/N this embarrassing moment!â
âKlaus, leave!â, you shout, covering your body with your blanket, but Klaus still doesn´t move.
Rising his hands in a defensive gesture, he turns towards Ben who already stepped out of the room, his face burning bright red in embarrassment. âI´m sure Y/N isn´t embarrassed.â Tilting his head, Klaus turns to you again. âOr are you?â
âKlaus! Please leave!â
âYeah, yeah, no need to be embarrassed, I know that you are sexually active. I just wanted to ask you if you could drive me to the waffles place? Once you´re finished of course.â
âKlaus, for heaven´s sake! LEAVE!â You grab your pillow and throw it at him, hitting him straight in the face.
âNo need to be rude!â, he pouts, while turning around and finally leaving.
âIf I were Y/N, I would have thrown my shoesâ, Ben comments.
Walking down the corridor, Klaus exclaims (loud enough that not only you but the whole house heard it): âAnd if you need another condom, just say so. I´ve got a few left.â
Needless to say the whole family knew about your rendezvous after that.
â â â
Allison:
Allison never knocks before entering your room. She just walks in, gets comfortable on your big armchair and starts gossiping.
"Hey, Y/N, guess what Klaus did this timeâŚâ
She jumps as she sees you and your significant other, clearly not expecting that you weren´t alone.
Quickly she hurries back out and pulls the door shut behind her.
For a few moments there´s nothing but silence and you slowly start to assume that she left, when you can hear a quiet giggle from outside.
Allison was still there, standing outside your door. âOh wow, I didn´t expect it to happen again.â
You bite your lip. Yeah, thanks for the reminder, it´s not as if you were trying to forget about the incident a few years ago, when you were all still living here.
âIs that the person you told me about?â, Allison sounds curious.
Your significant other looks at you questioningly.
âI´ll talk to you later, Allison!â Your voice sounds a bit harsher than you meant but that´s what it needs for her to finally leave.
You were pretty sure that she would bombard you with questions during dinner.
â â â
Victor:
He is beyond embarrassed.
As soon as he opens the door and gets a glimpse of you, he jumps out of the room again. âOh my god, I´m so sorry, Y/N! I didn´t mean to interrupt you!â
Not even waiting for your reaction, he slams the door shut again and leans his back against it, trying to calm down again.
When seeing you later at dinner, he can barely look at you, his face blushing bright red every time your eyes meet.
You tell him repeatedly that it´s okay and that it was actually your own fault for not locking the door andâ after apologizing again a dozen times â Victor starts acting more comfortable and finally normal towards you again.
But exactly like Luther, he never just walks in your room again without making sure, you allow him to.
Â
â â â
Five:
âHey, Y/Nâ Without even bothering to use the door, he teleports straight into your room, making you jump and scream in shock.
Five tries really hard not to show his embarrassment, as realizes what just happened. He looks you straight in the eyes, while his face is slowly blushing a deeper and deeper shade of red.
âY/Nâ, he clears his throat, pretending he didn´t see anything. âI expect you down in the kitchen in five - â
He stops and glances at his watch, silently debating if whatever he wanted to talk to you about could wait another few minutes.
âin ten minutes. Family meeting. And I mean strictly family.â
His eyes dart towards your significant other, a sarcastic smile on his face. âYou lover can wait in your room in the meantime.â
Before giving you even the chance to react, he teleports away again.
His face still bright red, he walks straight down to the kitchen and sits down on the kitchen table, trying not to think about what just happened.
Â
â â â
Diego:
The door flies open and Diego storms in. âHey, Y/N, I wanted to give youâŚâ
He stops mid-sentence and freezes in his spot as he sees you. âOh, sorry!â
You´ve never seen him this embarrassed before, his cool attitude has completely fallen off.
He holds up your little notebook that he borrowed from you the other day. âI´ll just lay it here for youâŚâ
Strictly averting his gaze, he walks over to your desk â not without accidentally bumping into your art table and causing all your stuff to crash down on the floor. âI´m so sorry!â
You can see it in his face how he thinks about whether or not he should pick it all up.
âDiegoâ You nod in the direction of the door, motioning for him to leave and finally he rushes out.

Traitor

âŞď¸Luke Castellan x fem!reader
âŞď¸daughter of Ares
(the story takes place during the last PJ book -> you, Annabeth, Percy and Grover have just entered Olympus and are about to meet Luke/Kronos)
Warnings:
⢠mentions of blood
⢠no happy ending
â â â
You freeze as you spot him.
Those striking eyes, once loving and gentle, now cold and distant. The single strands of hair, that fall into his face. God, you loved playing with his hair while lying in his lap. Or running your hands through his hair while kissing him.
âLukeâ It has been a while since you last said his name. You try to avoid it as good as possible, as it leaves a bitter taste on your tongue since the day he turned out to be a traitor. Damn, that day was still as present as everâŚ
Percy lying in bed in the infirmary and telling you all about Luke´s betrayal⌠you standing next to his bed, not believing a single word he said⌠not until you noticed that Luke had disappeared.
In that moment your heart broke so violently, that you still wonder how it was possible that nobody heard it. Your perfect world broke apart within seconds.
Luke was your first everything. The first person you met at camp. The first person you trusted. The first (and only) person who you have ever been in love with. Your first kiss. Your first boyfriend. Your first time. And the first person who broke your heart.
Of course the whole camp was also very suspicious of you. You were Luke´s girlfriend â everyone knew that. The two of you were as close as one could be, so if he was a traitor, you had to be one as well, right? They branded you the spy and avoided talking to you for months. How was that fair?
If it hadn´t been for Percy, Annabeth and Silena â who constantly comforted you, kept acting normal around you and scolded other campers who terrorized you â you would have run away a long time ago. Camp Half-Blood no longer felt like home.
Luke, your boyfriend. Luke, the traitor. It was damn hard to believe that they were the same person.
Of course you also blamed yourself. You were his girlfriend, you should have paid more attention! You knew that something was going on with him.Â
You felt that he acted slightly different, even though he tried not to show it to you. He has never spoken about the gods with respect or fascination, but it was the first time that he sounded this bitter.
âThey don´t care about us, Y/Nâ he told you while you were sitting at the shores of the lake.
âWho?â you asked, your feet dangling just inches above the cool water.
âThe gods⌠they are cruel and selfishâŚthey always let teens fight their battlesâ
In that moment you thought that he referred to the scar he got on his quest. In retrospect, he probably meant much more. Did he think of betraying the camp back then?
From that day on, you lost him more each and every day. He still spent most of his time with you, he still kissed you and made you laugh but then he also seemed so distracted, so distant.
"Dont worry, princess. I just had a bad dream", he told you every time you noted that he looked stressed.
You took his hand, softly stroking his palm with your fingers. "You know you can talk to me about it"
He just smiled, wrapping his arms around you and burying his face in your neck. "I know, my love"
Before, he has never avoided these topics. You remember feeling like you couldn't get to him anymore. And then â suddenly he was gone. Disappeared without a word.
The first time you saw him again was roughly three months later. He was lying in wait for you when you were just leaving the camp to visit your mother. He jumped out of the shadows and grabbed your arm, nearly giving you a heart attack.
At first you were afraid. Afraid of the boy you had loved with all your heart â and probably still did.
But he didn´t come to hurt you, instead he tried to convince you to run away with him, to join Kronos with him. He tried more than once â to be honest you lost count of how many times he tried â but every time you rejected him.
The gods aren´t perfect, but fighting against them is not the right way to go. Doing so would cause the exact opposite of what he actually wants to achieve.
You could clearly remember the last time he spoke to you, maybe five or six months ago.
âY/N, please! I love you! Take my hand, come with me! You know that I fight for the right thing!â
Now you stand in front of him again. Well⌠you´re not sure if that even was Luke anymore. How much control does Kronos have over him?
Slowly he turns towards you. âY/Nâ Luke´s voice is shaking. He seems to be fighting an internal battle, which Kronos wins.
As Percy and Annabeth start talking to him and trying to talk sense into him, you just stand there, petrified, not knowing what to say. Were there even words to say in such a situation? If yes, then Kronos doesn´t give you the time to speak them.
He attacks and the three of you give your best to keep him at bay. In the meantime Grover plays the flute, trying his best to support you.
You clutch your sword. For the first time in your life you truly hate fighting. You are as brilliant and intimidating as usual â of course you are â but still you hate fighting against the boy who once owned your heart. With every blow and every stab you are afraid of hurting him.
Maybe you are too soft to be the daughter of Ares. Would he understand or would he be disappointed?
During the fight Annabeth constantly tries to talk to Luke/Kronos. About Thalia, about their time before camp. Sometimes one might think that a small glimpse of Luke shines through.
A firm blow hits Annabeth and throws her across the room. She was lucky that it was only Kronos´ arm and not his blade. She could have been dead in a second.
âLukeâ she tries to speak, but she almost can't get a sound out.
âAnnabethâ, you shout, as you understand what she is trying to do. Her grey eyes search for yours, begging you silently. You give her a reassuring nod. Truly, a brilliant girl.
You gather all your strength and step forward. âLuke! Luke, can you hear me? I know, you´re still there.â
Kronos freezes and watches you, giving Percy the chance to scurry over to Annabeth.
Trying to suppress the tears that well, you force yourself to smile. You try to remember all the beautiful moments that you and Luke shared. Holding hands while walking around camp, watching the sunsets while enjoying some snacks, gentle kisses while sitting around the campfire.
You don´t want to believe that this Luke was gone. He has to still be there, somewhere underneath the monster that Kronos created.
âDo you remember my birthday?â, you ask him, while watching him intensively to see whether that triggers a reaction in him. âA few days before, I had told you about the chocolate chip muffins that my grandma used to make. You baked them for me, remember? And on my birthday you came to wake me up really really early in the morning. Clarisse almost murdered you for throwing pebbles on the cabin window, remember?â
You chuckle as you figuratively see your sisters face in front of you. Gods, on that day even you were afraid of her.
âYou wanted to watch the sunrise together, remember? At our spot.â You search for a sign, for any sign, that Luke hears you. That he is still there. âThe spot where you first kissed me. Do you remember that? The shore of the lake.â
Kronos´ expression changes. âY/Nâ
Luke! Your heart skips a beat as you hear his voice. Is it enough? Have you gotten through to him?
He stumbles towards you, trying to suppress Kronos for at least a few seconds.
âDo you remember the gift you gave me?â You ask, your voice now lively, excited even.
Slowly Luke nods. âThe silver bracelet with the forever symbol.â
âExactly!â You laugh out, the first tears streaming down your face. âYou want to see it?â
Luke´s eyes widen. âYou still have it? You⌠you kept it, even though IâŚâ
âOf course I kept it.â You roll up your sleeve and show it to him. You thought about throwing it away a few times, but you never had the heart to do it.
Maybe you kept it as a reminder that the time with Luke was real, maybe because something deep inside you hoped that one day you would wake up from this nightmare and find out that all of this was just a dream. A really bad dream.
Luke looks at you, frowning deeply. You notice how hard he tries to not let Kronos break through. How much longer can he keep this up? A few seconds? One minute?
"Do you still love me?â, he finally manages to say.
You look at him. His eyes. His beautiful eyes. âYes, I always did.â
âEnough!â Kronos´ voice echoed across the room. Luke lost control. Something dark hisses through the air and shortly afterwards you feel a sharp pain shooting through your body.
At first you don´t realize what happened, you only hear Annabeth and Percy scream. Then your legs give away and you fall to the ground. Blood. On your hands, on your shirt.
The sound of clashing weapons. Annabeth and Percy have thrown themselves back into the fray in an attempt to push Kronos away from you. They scream Luke´s name, trying to help him get control again.
The image blurs before your eyes. The wound is too deep. Too much blood.
âY/N!â Luke. He managed to suppress Kronos. Hopefully longer than a few seconds.
Annabeth and Percy look at you, tears streaming down their faces. They hesitate, not wanting to come too close as they want to give you and Luke some privacy. Nevertheless they stand ready if Kronos takes over again.Â
Immediately Luke hurries over to you and falls down on his knees beside you.
It became more and more exhausting to keep your eyes open. âLukeâ you manage to whisper, your voice breaking.
âI´m here.â His voice is as soft as you remember it. As soft as it was on the day he told you he loved you for the first time.
You try to lift your hand, but you don´t have the strength to do so.
âPlease don´t dieâ, he whispers as he slowly starts stroking your hair. He keeps repeating his words, begging you, begging the gods, begging Kronos.
You blink and try your best to smile. However, due to the pain that rushes through your body, it becomes more of a grimace.
âI love you, Y/Nâ, Luke tells you, unable to hold back his tears, âPlease forgive meâ
And as you close your eyes you can feel his lips softly kissing yours.
Faith. Even though all these years he has made the worst decisions one can ever make, you're sure he's finally going to do the right thing.

Sisterly advice

âŞď¸Luke Castellan x fem!reader
âŞď¸daughter of Aphrodite
âĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄ
You and Luke have always been close. So close, in fact, that newcomers automatically assumed that you were dating. The surprised look on their faces when the older campers told them you weren´t, was according to your siblings hilarious.
It's evening and you're sitting on your bed, your legs crossed, while Silena is braiding your hair.
Of all your half-siblings she is your favourite one. Loving, gentle and kind. She is the perfect definition of a daughter of Aphrodite, as she embodies everything that comes to your mind when you think about love - and you want others to feel the same way. They should also think of her and not your other siblings with their childish plays and cruel rituals of breaking others hearts. Maybe they themselves don´t understand what it means being the child of love.
Silena´s fingers run gently through your hair, parting it and intertwining the individual strands together.
âSo⌠what about Charlie?â
You don't have to see her face to know that a smile flashes across her lips at his name. âWhat about him?â
âDid he finally ask you out?â
She laughs, trying to pretend that she finds the idea absurd. âWe are just friends.â
You turn around and give her a look that expresses your opinion about it all too clearly. Don´t try to fool me, darling. I see what´s going on between the two of you!
Again, Silena laughs, gently turning your head forward again to finish the braid. âOkay, other topic. What about you and Luke?â
You copy her laugh. âWhat about us? We´re just friends.â
You could feel her rising her eyebrows. âLet me give you some sisterly advice: Just friends don´t look at each other like that.â
âWho did you quote? That sentence is so clichĂŠ!â
She laughs, taking a hair tie from your bedside table and wrapping it around your braid. âWell⌠maybe it is but it totally fits you and Luke.â
You turn around, giving her a skeptical look.
Silena shrugs and sits down beside you. âI mean⌠have you seen his smile when he looks at you? Also he constantly finds excuses to touch you. He improves your posture in archery, even though you are at least as good at it as he is. And â â she looks at you triumphantly, âHe gives you a kiss on the cheek every time he greets you or says goodbye.â
You feel your cheeks flush and cross your arms, trying to think of a counter argument. âAÂ lot of people do that.â
âYeah, but you´re the only one where Luke does that. Haven´t you noticed?â
To be honest: no, you haven´t. But now as you think about it in detail... it is true. When Luke greets one of the other girls, he just smiles at them.
âIn addition, he immediately drops everything when he sees youâ, Silena adds, âYesterday he left in the middle of training because he saw you walking by and wanted to talk to you. Or on Friday, he was in the middle of a conversation with Chris and you waved at him. And what did he do? Exactly, he immediately jogged over. Also last weekâŚâ
âEnough!â You laugh, trying to make her shut up by covering her mouth.
Silena dodges you, laughing as you reach into the void. "He let you draw hearts on his sneakers! He watches the sunset with you! He bought you a bracelet for your birthday! You know, I could go on with this for hours." She steps closer, cupping your cheeks with her hands. âBelieve me, sis: He´s in love with you!â Her voice is melodic, angel like even. Loving, gentle and kind.
You feel the heat rising to your cheeks and embarrassed you pulls away and cover your face with your hands. âI´m pretty sure he isn´t! You´re overinterpreting!â
âNope, I´m a daughter of Aphrodite, I can feel it!â
âSo am I! And I don't feel anything!â
Silena grabs her cherry lipstick. âYour reaction makes me think that you like him too!â
Did you like him? You weren´t sure. Of course he meant the world to you, but did you like him more as than a friend? Wouldn´t that be weird kissing him since you know him for so long?
"I'm not sure", you finally manage to say, rolling off your bed and taking a look at the clock. Fortunately, you can at least put the topic off for today. "Oh, damn! Come on, we are already late!â
Silena grabs your hand and leads you outside of cabin 10. It´s already dark and in the distance you can see the flickering flames of the campfire. Most of the campers seem to have already gathered there, their drink in their hands and a smile on their lips as they talk to their siblings and friends.
âFinally!â, one of the Apollo girls greets you.
Chris Rodriguez grins. âWhy are the Aphrodite girls always late?â
That is definitely not true! You're not always late. Just most of the times. God, you hate being a clichÊ.
Luke lifts his head as he hears his brother say âAphrodite girlsâ. He spots you and his face lights up like a Christmas tree. Immediately he walks up to you and hugs you, his lips placing a soft kiss on your cheek.
From the corner of your eye you can see Silena rising an eyebrow, as if to say "Well, what did I say?"
âYou look amazingâ, Luke whispers in your ear, before breaking away from the hug and greeting Silena with a smile. âCharlie is already waiting for you!â, he grins, nodding towards said boy.
Silena giggles, before walking over to him. Gods, it was so obvious that she was head over heels for him.
Luke takes your hand and leads you over to his place next to Chris, where he had already a blanket spread out for the two of you. âMyladyâ He pretends to bow.
You can feel your cheeks blush as you sit down. âThank you so much, Mister!â
Gods, somehow Luke always manages to put a smile on your face. You sit down and stretch out your legs, feeling the comforting heat of the fire.
As Luke takes a seat next to you, you can feel him slide closer, his arm touching yours. Feeling him beside you was comforting, the closest feeling you had to "home".
Luke Castellan. You tilt your head back and look up at the stars as if you expect to see his name engraved up there. You have always liked his name. Luke Castellan. It feels like a secret incantation on your lips.
You can feel his eyes on you. The flickering flames make his face look almost golden. Golden boy. Why didn´t you notice before how handsome he is?
The next song starts and immediately everyone joins in. They lie in each other's arms and rock back and forth, bawling Country roads.
Well, maybe it was just because Silena had told you, but Luke really seems to find exuses for touching you. He leans against you, his arm around your shoulders - even after the song has already ended. You enjoy feeling him so close next to you. The heat he radiates. His soft skin against yours. The realization hits you straight in the face. You had fallen in love with your best friend.
He looks at you and you can't help but smile. Fascinating how beautiful an evening with a campfire could be. For a moment it feels like gods and monsters didn't exist. For a moment everything seems peaceful.
âCan I talk to you for a second?â You can feel Luke´s warm breath on your neck as he whispers in your ear.
Your heart skips a beat. Did he notice the way you looked at him? Did he suspect something? Was Silena wrong? âSure!â
Your voice sounds more enthusiastic than you feel.
Luke takes your hand and leads you away from the campfire, away from the singing and the laughter of the others.
You look at him, smiling nervously. âSoooâŚÂ what is it? Or did you just want to escape singing Knocking on heavens door.â
He shakes his head, laughing. âNo, why would I want to miss Drew´s wonderful voice?â
You cringe at the thought of your sister singing louder than everyone else â and on top of that terribly wrong. She doesn't hit a single note.
âNo, actually⌠Y/NâŚâ He runs a hand through his hair, trying to find the right words. âGods, you´re so beautiful.â
It´s not the first time that somebody told you that. In fact, being a daughter of Aphrodite, you had heard it thousands of times already.
Still his words felt special to you. Special because he wasn´t just anybody. Ă
He was Luke. Your best friend Luke. Luke who was always there for you, who comforted you when you had trouble with your family, who managed to make you laugh when you lay in your bed crying your eyes out over something your stepmother had said. Luke who you trusted with all your heart.
âI wanted to ask you if you'd like to go on a picnic tomorrow?â He avoids looking at you.
Why is he so shy about going on a picnic? That's quite strange since you´d done this a few times before. You had even found your very own spot with a fantastic view over the sea. There was nothing more beautiful than watching sunsets while drinking juice and eating biscuits. So why does he seem so insecure?
Luke seems to notice your confusion. âI meant as a dateâ, he clarifies.
You raise your eyebrow, your heart racing. âAre you asking me out?â
âYeah.â
For a moment you stood there, perplexed. Why was it so obvious to the others while you had no idea?
"So... what do you say?" Luke looks at you, biting his lip nervously. He seems to assume that you aren't answering because you're looking for a way to reject him as gently as possible.
Quickly you step forward, brushing a strand of your hair behind your ear. "Yes, I'd love to go on a date with you."
"Really?" Immediately he blushes deeply. That must have slipped out.
"Sure, why wouldn't I?" You giggle, taking his hand. "I've known you for years now. You're kind and brave and one of the most caring people I know."
A laugh escapes his lips. "Wow, if I had known that, I would have asked you way earlier." His hand slowly reaches for your cheek.
You hold your breath as he leans forward and places a soft kiss on your lips. It didn't feel weird at all. The opposite, actually. Seems like sometimes best friends can turn into lovers.
You wrap your arms around him, pulling him closer. Soft kisses become more passionate. His hands run through your hair, slowly brushing loose strands out of your face.
When he pulls away a huge smile creeps across his lips. "I love you, Y/N"
You return his smile, taking his hand and intertwining your fingers. "I love you, too."
As you walk back to the campfire holding hands, Silena beams at you. "I told you, Y/N, friends don't look at each other like that."
You shake your head, laughing. "Your advice really is the best."

Breaking your own
rules

âŞď¸Isaac Garcia x fem!reader
âŞď¸Y/N Howard, Jackie's younger sister
Things have always been tough for you. As the youngest Howard girl you were constantly compared to your older sisters Lucy and Jackie.
Lucy the popular sunshine that everybody loved and Jackie the perfect girl who already had her plans for the future figured out and worked very hard to reach them.
Don't get me wrong, you loved your sisters with all your heart but sometimes you wished that they - especially Jackie - wouldn't set the bar so high. You were always only "Jackie's sister". Even your teachers referred to you that way.
Since the accident it had gotten so much worse. While it was obvious that you were breaking apart, Jackie had much more self control. While she studied even harder, you could barely concentrate.
When you heard the message that you and Jackie had to move to Colorado to the Walter family, you couldn't deny that you felt relieved.
Starting a new life with the Walters also meant leaving this comparism behind. Or at least most of it. You could start over new. No teachers who acted like your way of grieving was wrong and no uncle who told you what your parents would have wanted you to be.
~ ~ ~
You immediately liked Katherine and George when you first saw them as they picked you up from the airport. They made you feel so welcome. One could only hope that the boys were just as nice as they were.
Well... they weren't. At least not all of them.
You hadn't even entered the house when you heard someone shout. "Watch out!" You could just jump out of the way when a boy with a skateboard zoomed by.
"That's Lee." George explained.
Right after him chased a little boy, almost bumping into Jackie.
"Be careful, Benny!", George shouted but you were pretty sure the boy didn't hear him - and if he did, then he didn't care.
George led you into the living room where two boys were sitting on the sofa playing video games.
"Boys, that are Jackie and Y/N Howard. Girls, that are Alex and Isaac."
The boys greeted you both with a smile. The way Alex looked at Jackie made you grin widely. Seemed like this could become interesting.
Meanwhile your attention was on Isaac and for a couple of seconds your eyes met. He looked very handsome with his dark hair and his laid-back look.
Isaac grinned and raised his eyebrow and quickly you looked away. You didn't want him to think that you fancied him. Because you didn't. You were not looking for a flirt or even a relationship. You just wanted to forget about the accident and start over new.
George smiled. "Okay, let's continue the tour." He showed you the kitchen, where you met Will, Nathan and Danny and the living room where Parker was playing Hockey.
Wow, you didn't expect so many of them. It would definitely take you some time to remember all the names.
At last he lead you in the garden to the pool and to a smaller boy with a camera. A blonde guy was just getting out of the water, grinning as he saw you and your sister. He put on a total show, acting like he was the best looking guy in the whole universe.
You hated guys like him. Way too self-centered and way too arrogant. Unfortunately you noticed the way Jackie looked at him. She tried to hide it but she was clearly faszinated by him.
"Come on, Cole! Don't be such a show-off!", Nathan said, rolling his eyes.
Living here could definitely turn out to be exciting.
~ ~ ~

A few days later you woke up to laughter and Jackie's screams.
The door flew open and she stormed in, covered in a towel. "I can't believe it! I can't believe they did this!" She walked over to the mirror and looked at her hair totally in panic.
Still very sleepy you rubbed your eyes and got out of bed. "Did what? What are you talking about?"
"They put bleaching in the shampoo!" She was close to tears. Her hair had now quite a lot of blonde strands that looked like somebody had drawn them with a paint brush. In other words, it looked horrible.
However, Jackie still wanted to go to school. Perfectly ambitious as always. She managed to take George's Baseball Cap and hid her hair with it, it didn't really match her style but better than nothing.
When you came home from school you walked right into a very angry Katherine and a bunch of boys who looked absolutely pissed.
"What's up?", you asked curiously, almost regretting it as Isaac sent you a deathly glare.
Lee lowered his voice. "Your sister is a sneak. She told Katherine what happened today."
Jackie, why... you sighed heavily before running up the stairs to your room. You couldn't believe that she told Katherine. You stormed into your room and walked straight up to her desk where she was sitting and doing her homework. "Why did you do that? You know that you just ruined your chance to be accepted by them, don't you?"
Jackie frowned, clearly not agreeing with you. "What else should I have done? Just accept it and act like it didn't happen?"
You shook your head, grinning. "No way, let's give them a taste of their own medicine. Let's see if they go to school with... let's say... pink hair."
You spent the next two days preparing everything for your revenge.
Jackie was not really helpful, in fact she seemed like she wanted to stop you. "Please, Y/N, don't do it. They were grounded, I think that's enough."
"Fuck no!" You had a plan and you were going to go through with it.
While the others were having their dinner you sneaked into the boys rooms and put hair dye in their shampoo. Lee, Isaac, Cole, you got them all.
No wonder that the next day you were woken again by screams and laughter. Excited you kicked off your blanket and jumped out of bed.
Who has been the first to fall into your trap? Hopefully Cole! You couldn't stand his arrogant behaviour and you also didn't get why your sister seemed so faszinated by him.
You opened your door and couldn't help but laugh. Isaac had just come out of the bathroom, a look of horror on his face. Most of his hair was bright pink. It was hillarious!
The only negative thing about it was, that the other boys were now warned. They would for sure control their shampoo before using it.
"New York is tougher than I thought", laughed Cole, eying your sister as she covered her mouth, trying not to laugh too hard.
"I'm sure that wasn't her", said Nathan before he turned towards you, "It was you right?"
Isaac's eyes widened as he also turned around to look at you.
You leaned against the doorframe, grinning. "Don't underestimate me, Garcia!"
Isaac POV:
Wow, he couldn't deny that he was impressed. He had branded you a popular spoiled girl, a city girl who got everything she wanted, daddy's little darling. Guess he was wrong. You were tougher than you looked.
He eyed you as you stood there laughing. He definitely had to be careful. You were not only beautiful you were also not afraid of standing up for yourself and messing with the boys.
A little smile escaped his lips and he ran a hand through his hair. "Good one, Y/N"
You raised your head proudly.
Long after you disappeared into your room he still stood there, grinning.
Your POV:
The following days you were extremely careful, looking out for Isaac's revenge.
You showered at 4 in the morning so that you didn't cross paths and used freshly bought shampoo. You locked your room and sat as far away from him as possible during breakfast and dinner. Except for "Good morning" you didn't really talk to each other.
To your surprise he knocked at your door one afternoon. "Hey, Y/N, wanna play videogames together?"
You turned around, closing your maths book. "Do you really think I'm this stupid?"
He blinked. "What?"
"If you want to play a trick on me, you have to try harder. I'm not following you in the living room. I bet you have some slime that falls down on me when I walk through the door."
Isaac looked at you perplex. "Nope, I just want to get to know you better. You seem cool." He grinned. "But that's an incredible idea!"
"No pranks?" You raised your eyebrow and Isaac nodded. "No pranks, I promise."
The two of you got along surprisingly well the whole time. Isaac had some snacks and drinks prepared and he showed you his favourite video game.
After a few initial difficulties, things didn't go so badly anymore. "You're not as bad as I thought."
You took another bite of chocolate. "And this from the mouth of Isaac Garcia. I feel honored."
"Yes, you should!"
Since then the two of you often met for video game sessions. He wasn't as annoying as you thought. In fact he was really cool and fun to be with.
Jackie still didn't like him and gave you a disapproving look whenever she saw you together. You didn't really get what her problem was. She was the one who constantly hung out with Cole! Isaac was a saint compared to him.

In the last few weeks you were also starting to spend more time with Lee.
He soon grew to be one of your closest friends. (You really thought it was necessary to have a best friend who isn't a close friend to your sister. You wanted your own life after all and not just a cheap copy of your sister's)
How this friendship with Lee started? Well, being the daughter of the famous designer Angelica Howard could be hard. Everyone expected perfection, even if they didn't say it explicitly. Most of the activities you did were only because they would look nice on your CV.
At the Walters' house you had the chance to finally choose hobbies that you really liked. So you wanted to try skateboarding.
One afternoon when the majority of the Walter boys were out to watch Parkers match you took Lee's skateboard that was leaning next to the door.
It took a few attempts until you were able to stand on it without holding on to the wall. Getting around with it was even more difficult. Again you fell to the floor.
How did Lee make it look so easy? You were glaring at the skateboard as you heard a chuckle behind you.
"That looked painful."
You turned your head and saw the Garcia brothers standing there.
Isaac walked towards you and offered you a hand. You took it and he helped you to your feet.
Blushing you rubbed the back of your neck and smiled at Lee apologetically. "I'm sorry for taking your skateboard, Lee."
To your surprise Lee didn't seem angry at all. "You wanna learn it?"
"Sure"
"Okay, I'll teach you how"
Lee wasn't that good at explaining, his teaching methods were more like: I show you how easy it is by driving around and beeing absolutely cool and then it was your turn and you made an absolute fool of yourself (which Jordan captured on camera - thank you very much!).
Isaac's POV:
He couldn't stop smiling. The way you tried so hard not to fall off, your hands stretched out, looking for balance.
Soon he found himself watching you practise everyday and it wasn't boring at all. He enjoyed watching as Lee told you what to do and he even offered to give you a hand when you tried to make turns.
You were a fast learner - or at least faster than he himself when Lee tried to teach him some tricks.
"You're getting better and better", Lee said, clearly proud of himself as a teacher and proud of you, his student.
"Soon you'll turn into a real skatergirl", grinned Isaac and you gave him the brightest smile possible.
He stared at you, feeling his heart racing in his chest. Yes, he couldn't deny it anymore, he had fallen in love with Y/N Howard.

Your POV:
Lucy's Birthday. You had feared that day since the accident. And even though Jackie tried to act tough and strong you were pretty sure that she struggled just as much as you did.
While the others left for school in the morning you pretended to be sick and stayed in bed till afternoon, staring at the ceiling.
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you" Your words were quiet, your voice shaking. "Happy Birthday dear Lucy, Happy Birthday to you."
Tears streamed your face as you whispered her name. Again and again. Lucy.
Jackie never wanted to talk about her or your parents. It had been months since you last said her name. It left a bitter note on your tongue.
Abruptly you sat up. You needed to get out, you needed to stop thinking about her.
Making sure that nobody saw you, you sneaked in the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of vodka. Katherine had tried to hide it, not knowing that you watched her.
The bottle in your hand you left the house, walking towards the barn. The loft seemed like the perfect place to get wasted. In any case better than your room since you didn't know when Jackie would come home.
You climbed up the ladder and sat down on the floor, your feet dangling above the ground.
Lucy. There weren't enough words to describe how much you missed her. Her spirit, her energy. You had always felt closer to her than to Jackie - not that you didn't love Jackie but she was always so perfect that you felt like you couldn't keep up with her. Lucy on the other hand was popular and outgoing just like you. For her school wasn't the number one priority. Her grades were good but not perfect.
"Hey" Isaac's voice snapped you out of your daydreams. "What are you doing up there?"
You held up the bottle of vodka. "Celebrating!" Your voice cracked, sounding drunk already.
Isaac rised an eyebrow. "What are you celebrating?"
You shrugged, taking another sip. You didn't wanna talk about Lucy, you didn't even know if you could say her name without bursting into tears. "My miserable life?", you suggested.
Isaacs expression changed from slightly amused to worried. He climbed up the ladder and sat down next to you. "Are you okay?"
The question was so absurd that you bursted out laughing. "Yes, yes I'm totally fine!" You handed him the vodka and without taking his eyes off you, he took a sip.
You didn't want to think about anything. Not about Lucy, not about your parents not about school.
You needed something to distract you, something better than alcohol. In New York you always went partying with your friends when you felt like your world was falling apart. Here in Colorado you felt more lonely than ever. Maybe you just needed to feel alive again.
Without thinking about possible consequences you grabbed Isaac by the collar of his shirt, pulled him towards you and kissed him.
Isaac's POV:
Was this a dream? Was this really happening? Did you maybe just kiss him because you were drunk? Did you really want this?
His heart was pounding violently in his chest as he felt your hands in his and your kisses against his lips. He pulled you closer towards him, leaning against you.
He had wanted to kiss you for a while now and even though he mostly seemed so confident, he hadn't found the courage to tell you.
He asked Lee about you once or twice, trying to find out if you liked him too but either Lee didn't knew it or he didn't tell him. What cheek! What else was a brother for, especially when he was best friends with the girl Isaac loved?
His kisses became more passionate. Hugging you and spreading soft kisses on your neck, he whispers: "I'm in love with you."
You giggled, kissing him. It would definitely be best if you didn't show up for dinner.
Isaac actually hadn't thought that you were so heavily drunk, he only noticed it when you two tried to climb down the ladder again.
You giggled, trying to keep your balance what nearly gave him a heart attack. It almost took you twenty minutes.
Isaac grabbed your hand and dragged you towards the house. "Please be quiet!", he begged you while trying to get a glimpse where all the others were.
Had they already gathered in the kitchen, ready for dinner? "Lee!" He whisper-shouted as he saw his brother and signaled him to come outside.
"What's wrong, bro?"
Isaac only gestured towards you, while you were trying to stand on one leg, giggling and blabbering.
Lee stared at you in shock. "Holy shit! She looks totally drunk."
"She is", Isaac confirmed. "We need to get her to her room before Katherine sees her!"
"What if Jackie tells her? She's always trying to act right, remember."
Isaac bit his lip. That was right. Jackie had already proved that she was a sneak.
"We bring her in our room", Lee suggested, "Nobody will notice and we can take care of her until she feels better."
Okay, that sounded like a plan!
"I'll distract the others!" Lee hurried back into the kitchen, making sure the others didn't come out.
Isaac kneeled down in front of you. "Hold on to me. I'm gonna give you a piggybag ride"
You wrapped your arms around him, laughing. "I bet that's fun!" You talked loudly, way too loudly.
Isaac heard Katherine's voice. "Was that Y/N?"
"I don't think so!", Lee answered quickly, trying to block the door, "She said she would be home very late. She has to prepare a talk for literature class with one of her friends - I guess her name was Grace."
He kept talking and talking while Isaac hurried up the stairs, carrying you on his back. There wasn't the right word to describe how relieved he was, when he finally entered his room and laid you down on his bed.
Your POV:
As you woke up the next morning your head was aching. You tried to sit up but stopped in the middle of the movement - and not just because you felt you might need to throw up due to the drinking yesterday.
This wasn't your room. You took a look around, wondering how you got here.
Isaac was lying on the floor next to you. The other bed on the other side of the room was empty. Lee had already left.
Was it already this late? Damn, you didn't want anyone seeing you sneaking out of one of the boys bedroom, especially when you still felt that you were about to throw up. You were sure that they would assume the worst.
Your memory of yesterday was very vague. In fact you only remembered drinking and... oh shit, snogging Isaac. Damn, why did you do that?
It's gonna be so weird sitting next to him during lunch and dinner and seeing him basically the whole day because you lived together.
You covered your face in embarrassment. Okay, stay cool. It was just snogging. Just snogging. You were pretty sure it didn't mean much to Isaac either. He always acted like the cool boy with his leather jacket and his macho posturing.
Slowly you started to stand up and grabbed your shoes that were lying next to the bed.
Isaac moved. You must have woken him up by accident, because he grumbled softly to himself and sat up. His hair looked like a mess but it suited him surprisingly well. "Morning, Y/N" He smiled at you and leaned in for a kiss but you backed away shocked.
"What are you doing?!"
Isaac hesitated, clearly confused. "Well... after last night I thought..."
"You thought what?", you snapped, regretting how harsh it sounded as you saw how hurt Isaac looked.
"I thought we were... we kissed, I told you I loved you..."
Your face starts to burn. "You WHAT?!"
"Don't you remember that?"
"No!" You gathered your stuff and stormed out of his room, not caring anymore if somebody saw you.
All you wanted was to get away from this situation as soon as possible. You had never been good at expressing your feelings or solving conflicts. You were only good at running away.
You ran towards the room that you shared with your sister, threw the door open and stormed inside.
Jackie let out a surprised squeak. "Y/N, you scared me to death"
You kicked the door shut and threw yourself on your bed.
Jackie didn't seem to notice how upset you were. She was lost in her own chaos. "I did something very stupid", she whispered after a few minutes of silence.
You looked at her in surprise. Jackie and doing something stupid? These were words that you normally wouldn't put in one sentence.
You walked over to her and sat down on the egde of her bed. Only then did you notice that she looked just as hungover as you felt. Was she also drinking? "I'm pretty sure what I did is way worse" you said, trying to cheer her up a little bit and offering her a guilty smile.
She shook her head, half smiling, half crying. "I went to a party with Cole and I... I was drinking way too much... I almost kissed him in front of Erin and the whole group... and when I came home and Alex tried to be there for me, I tried to kiss him too."
You looked at her in disbelief. You had never thought that she would ever do something like that.
She leaned over to you and pulled you into a hug.
"Hey, it's all gonna work out, okay?" You rubbed her back soothingly. "Seemed like you took a break from being the good and perfect girl."
She rolled her eyes, smiling. Then a thought crossed her mind and she looked at you questioningly. "Y/N, you said yours would be worse...what did you do?"
"Oh" You blushed a deep shade of red. "I was snogging with Isaac."
"YOU WHAT?" She stared at you wide-eyed.
"I was drunk, way too drunk... I just wanted some distraction from thinking about Lucy and then... it just happened..."
"How much did you drink? And on top of that Isaac?!"
You knew that she couldn't stand him, especially since his prank on her. "Jackie, please, I don't want to talk about it, not yet."
She nodded even though you could see that there were lots of questions swirling around in her head.
Since you didn't want any lunch, Jackie forced you to at least go down for dinner. The Walters were already sitting at the table when the two of you came in. Isaac stared at you angrily. You avoided his gace and sat down as far away from him as possible.

Thanksgiving. The first Thanksgiving that you wouldn't celebrate with your family.
You tried to keep busy in order not to think about it.
While you were helping Katherine in the kitchen, Isaac and Lee got ready for their video call with their dad.
Lee picked out a black shirt and even a tie. It was cute to see him so excited as he asked you at least five times if he looked good and if his hair was fine.
"You look amazing", you told him with a big smile, brushing aside the single strand of hair that hung in his face.
Lee nodded excitedly and hurried outside the room.
Isaac still seemed to be angry with you as he walked right past you without even looking at you. He didn't bother dressing smartly but you still thought that he looked very handsome. He always did.
"Can you prepare the vegetables, Y/N?", Katherine asked and handed you the bowl and the different ingredients.
Danny was responsible for the dishes and they looked really amazing. He even let you try a single bite of it. Delicious.
Katherine turned towards you. "Do you know when Jackie comes back?"
"She didn't tell me." Secretly you suspected that she would try to join the fiest as late as possible. That's just the way Jackie was. Acting strong and pretending everything was fine when really she was hurting.
The door flew open and Lee stormed inside. You had never seen him this angry and hurt before.
You jumped to your feet, almost dropping the little bowl of Vegetables. "Lee, what happened?"
Lee didn't answer. Instead he opened a bottle of wine, ready to get wasted.
You turned towards his brother who has just entered the room, looking just as unbothered as he did before. "Isaac, what's up with Lee? What happened?"
He turned around, glaring at you. "Don't act like you care. I know you don't."
His words hit you like a knife. You could feel the others staring at the two of you and your cheeks started burning. "What? Of course I care! How can you say that?"
"Okay" He raised his hands defensively but his expression said 'whatever'. "Guess you do care about Lee then."
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Oh come on, you know that exactly! You played me like a toy and you couldn't have cared less about it!" He stormed out and you were so bewildered that you just stood there not knowing what to say.
It didn't help that everyone was staring at you, their faces asking clearly "What happened between you two?"
Avoiding to look at them, you ran out of the kitchen and up to your room. Why did he say that? You didn't play him, did you?
Nevertheless his words hurt you deeply, deeper than other people's words normally did. He seemed to hate you and you... you missed spending time with him. Did you have feelings for him?
You shook your head fiercly. When you moved here you had decided that it would be better not to rush in a relationship. Especially since you still struggled with the loss of your family. You needed friends, not some drama about boys.
~ ~ ~

The great bonfire, the party everyone was waiting for.
Of course you also couldn't wait for it. A party! Amazing! Finally some distraction!
You got ready with your sister and your friends. It was hard talking to Jackie alone the past few days. Since she and Alex started dating, he was always around, barely giving you two some sister time.
Originally you had planned to spend the whole party with her and your friends but then Alex and Cole started making their usual drama about who gets to be with Jackie. Pretty annoyed you walked off - which Jackie didn't even notice.
Lost in thought you stood in front of the bonfire, staring into the flames.
"Y/N" Lee walked up to you, a worried expression on his face. "Are you okay?"
You didn't want to ruin his evening so you forced a smile and tried to forget about Cole and Alex' drama for once.
You poked Lee in the cheek and grabbed his arm. "Yeah, I really like the party. You know... the partys in New York are totally different from here."
A soft smile escaped his lips. "What are they like? Tell me about it."
"Well..." How should you describe the feeling, the unique style, the atmosphere? To be honest the only comparism that hit you was: "They are just like Jackie."
Lee raised his eyebrow, looking confused but curious. "What do you mean 'like Jackie'?"
You shrugged. "They are perfect in every way. Glamorous even. Everyone is wearing beautiful dresses and drinking fancy cocktails with straws. They are talking about their dreams and their plans for the future. Most of the people I know have already figured it out." It often felt like you didn't belong there.
Lee watched you attentive.
"Most of the parties I went to were organized by students in order to get extra credits. They seemed like a ball for a princess." You couldn't help but laugh. "I prefered the clubs. Dancing like tomorrow didn't matter and like nobody was watching. I have only been there twice." As a minor it was hard to get in, but Lucy had always found a way.
Lee looked amused. "And now you're here, playing beer pong and standing around a huge bonfire. No cocktails, no glamour."
"Yes, it feels like two different worlds."
"Which one do you prefer?"
"Honestly? This one here. No need to be perfect, just having fun and being yourself."
He chuckled and you took a sip from your drink. "By the way...have you seen the others? I want to convice Jackie to play beer pong against me. That could be my one and only chance to be better than her." Also she needed distraction from the Alex and Cole drama.
You stood on your tiptoes, searching the crowd for familiar faces. You turned around and you saw them, right next to the fireplace. Your heart clenched.
Isaac and one of the cheerleaders. The girl looked amazing. Of course she did, all cheerleaders did.
Don't cry. Don't cry. Damn, you could feel the tears in your eyes.
Lee stroked your back comfortingly. Hell, you were angry.
So goddamn angry, but not at Isaac or the girl, you were angry at yourself. You've had your chance and you pushed him away. Guess you deserved this.
Isaac POV:
He laughed as the girl in front of him said something about the party last weekend. He didn't pay attention what it was, honestly he couldn't care less.
Every now and then he stole glances over his shoulder to make sure you had noticed him and were still watching. I mean, what was the purpose of making you jealous when you didn't see it?
Yes! You were close to tears! He couldn't help but feel happy about it. After all it meant that you liked him, didn't it?
Lee was standing right beside you, his arm around your shoulder. Isaac's smile froze.
"Hey, are you okay?", the girl asked him. He didn't even remember her name.
"Mh? Yeah, yeah I'm fine." When he looked in your direction the next time, you were gone. Panic started to rise within him. Had he gone too far? Was it a horrible plan?
"I'm sorry, I have to go", he told the cheerleader, not caring that he interrupted her. Well, her story wasn't very interesting anyway.
Without waiting for her response he hurried over to his brother, looking around if you were anywhere near him. "Bro, where is she?"
Lee nodded in the direction in which you had walked off. "She wanted to be alone. Guess your brillant plan backfired."
Damn, he was right. But still he didn't regret going through with it. At least he knew now that you liked him because what other reason could your reaction have? "Did you tell her?"
Lee was clearly offended by this question. "About your plan to make her jealous? No, I promised not to, remember? Damn, just go and talk to her! You act like a seven year old!"
Lee's words made Isaac's face burn with shame. He was right, wasn't he? He really acted like a little kid. Hoping he hadn't messed completely with you, he followed you.
Your POV:
You turned as you felt someone walking up beside you. Isaac. His pretty cheerleader was nowhere to be seen.
"Hey" You forced a smile, pretending that everything was fine. You were getting better at it lately.
Isaac looked at you, worried and maybe also a bit guilty. "Is everything okay? I saw how sad you looked when you walked away from Lee."
You shook your head, smiling. "Oh, it's fine." Damn, talking to him was harder than you thought. Why was he suddenly so nice to you? He has been ignoring you or glaring at you for days, maybe weeks, and now... he left this pretty girl in order to talk to you? That boy really was a mystery.
"Look, I'm fine, Isaac. Why don't you go and have fun talking to that cheerleader girl. She seemed to fancy you." You didn't mean to sound this annoyed and bitchy.
"But I would rather talk to you, Y/N", Isaac said and suddenly he looked even more guilty. His face burning bright red he rubbed the back of his head. "I just talked to her... to make you jealous."
What? You couldn't help but stare at him. Your heart did a somersault out of joy. The relief you felt... did that mean that you liked him?
Your silence seemed to make Isaac feel insecure. He lowered his head. "Sorry, that was a stupid idea... it's okay if you don't like me."
"No that's not..." you hurry to say, "I'm sorry for what happened that day in the loft and for the way I behaved afterwards. I should have apologised way earlier." You avoided looking at him and stared into the pitch black night instead. "I didn't want to get emotionally involved... it wasn't sure how long Jackie and I would stay here after all. It wouldn't be fair to start a relationship and then move away a few weeks later."
Isaac laughed and you looked at him bewildered. "What's so funny about that?"
"Well... everything. You say a relationship wouldn't be fair but what you did is even more unfair! You made me fall in love with you, you kissed me and then you ran away and acted like it didn't happen. Like it wasn't a big deal."
You didn't know what to say. He was right and you knew it. But that didn't matter now. He just confessed to you! Your heart felt like dancing in your chest.
"Why don't you give it a try, Y/N?" His voice was soft, almost sensitive. He took your hand, his thumb gently stroking the back of your hand.
You didn't know what to answer. Should you tell him that you were afraid your uncle would take you back to New York and that saying goodbye to him would be even harder? That you tried not to get too close because you were never good at showing your emotions? That you were afraid you would hurt him again because that's just the way you were?
A thought crossed your mind. Starting over new, that's what you had wanted when you came here. You wanted to leave the old Y/N and all her problems and insecurities behind and use the chance to become someone new. Maybe this also meant giving Isaac a shot. You liked him, so maybe you should stop running away. Maybe you should break your rules of not getting too close to someone while you were here.
You stepped closer and reached out your hand to touch his cheek. His eyes widened with joy. Slowly the two of you leaned forwards, your lips touching in a sweet and gentle kiss. He seemed restrained, almost fearing you would change your mind and pull away again. To prove to him that you wouldn't run away this time, you pulled him closer and intensified the kiss.
For a moment you forgot everything around you, you only concentrated on the feeling of his lips against yours and his warmth. When you slowly start to pull away, you couldn't stop smiling.
"We don't have to rush things. And I promise I won't show you off like a trophy in school." He chuckled, clearly thinking about the way Alex and Jackie acted - all touchy and totally embarrassing. It was so gross walking through the hallway and seeing them snogging in front of everyone.
"That's very good to know", you smiled back. Your decision was right, you could feel it deep inside you. Isaac Garcia was worth breaking your own rules.

Secret Admirer
âĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄâĄ

â friends to lovers
â Isaac Garcia x fem!reader
Valentine's Day or in other words: that real fun time of the year where boys buy roses for their crush and (since most of them give the roses anonymously) girls try to find out who the rose is from. It was always really funny, especially when it involved one of your friends. Last year Kiley was the lucky one. She was invited on a date, a blind date, and she came home super excited, telling you and your friends that it was a guy from the Football team.
This year you are sure it would be Jackie. You and Skylar have a bet about who would make the first move. He says Cole, you say Alex. Your chances of winning are quite high since you and Kiley are telling Alex for weeks that this would be the perfect opportunity for him.
Jackie herself doesn't seem so sure about getting a rose at all. When you meet up with her in school she and Grace are talking about it. "No Grace, Cole is with Erin, he for sure won't get me a rose!" "Bullshit." "Grace!"
"Oh, come on Jackie," you sigh, joining Grace's side, "I'm pretty sure you'll get at least one rose today." The blush that starts to rise to Jackie's face makes your grin even wider. "And you know that too", you tease her.
Jackie clears her throat, grabs her backpack and stands up. "Okay, time for class, we can talk later" You know exactly that she is just trying to avoid this topic but nevertheless you nod. "Yeah, classes", you murmur with absolutely no motivation.
Slowly you start walking into class. Of course there are already a bunch of roses lying on some of the desks. The girls stand around them and whisper excitedly, while sometimes stealing glances towards the boys. You walk to your place and... Wait, there is a rose on YOUR desk. For a moment you stand there, confused and in disbelief. You have never received a rose before. You also have no idea who might have put it there. Maybe the boy put it on the wrong desk by accident. It for sure isn't meant for you. You would have noticed if someone had a crush on you, wouldn't you? At least if the boy showed it as obvious as Cole and Alex did concering Jackie.
When you are finally able to break free of your paralysis you slowly start walking towards it. Only then do you notice the little note that was attached to it. Your heart starts to race as you see that your name is written on it. It is no accident, the rose is really for you! You take a look around, searching for any suspicious behaviour, but nobody seems to act strange. With your fingers trembling you unfold the paper and stare at the few lines that were written there by computer.
"Y/N, I've been in love with you for quite a while now. I hope you like the rose."
Of course you couldn't wait for the lessons to end. As soon as the bell rings, you storm out of the classroom, nearly bumping into one of your classmates, and run to the cafeteria to meet up with your friends.
"Guys, I got a rose and a note!"
Immediately they all gather around you, almost ripping the note out of your hands as each one of them wants to read it. "Do you have any idea who it could be?" Jackie sounds super excited. "Nope, sadly not. Could be anyone." You try to think about whether someone acted strange around you. Nothing unusual.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Isaac walks up behind you and tries to get a look at the note. Hastily you try to cover it with your hands. Yes, he was one of your closest friends and yes you trusted him with your life but you also knew that he could be a real pain in the ass especially when it came to boys.
The last time you mentioned that Cole was cute he complained so loudly that all the girls were crazy about Cole that the whole cafeteria heard it. You had never felt so embarrassed in your whole life. Also the next week Cole kept walking up to you with his arrogant grin, asking if you would like to come to his place that night. It took several weeks for him to stop.
Quickly you snatch the note away from him. "Nothing, just..." "You got a love letter!" "No that's not..." You sigh as you don't know what else to call it. It is right, it is a love letter. "Okay, yes I got a love letter and I also got a rose. Don't ask who it is, I don't know." Isaac looks at you, his dark eyes sparkeling as he teases you. "Who do you want it to be?"
You feel all your friends' eyes on you. A very good question. Who did you want it to be? A year ago you would have immediately answered Cole. But now... of course you still think that he is very attractive - nobody would deny that - but his behaviour and the rumors about him making out with numerous girls even though he seems to be with Erin, made you change your mind. You wouldn't want to be with someone who plays you like a toy and gives you mixed feelings or even a roller coaster of emotions.
If you were completely honest, lately you catch yourself often thinking about Isaac. Why didn't you notice before how handsome he actually is? Maybe because you knew him practically since kindergarten. He had always been one of your best friends, it would be weird to see him as more. Or wouldn't it?
You blush as you notice that your friends are still staring at you, waiting for your answer. What should you say? Your eyes dart across the room and the first one you see is... "Er... Dylan. Yeah... I think I might have a crush on Dylan."
Isaac's shoulders tense. "Dylan?!" He almost spits out the name, then he rolls his eyes murmuring something about bad taste in men before walking away.
Kiley looks at you, ignoring him completely. "Do you think the note could maybe be from Dylan?" You shrug, as you didn't really care if it was him or not. "That's the worst about it... I have absolutely no idea who it could be."
The following days you all do your best to find out more about your secret admirer but it seems to be impossible. He really did his best to stay anonymous. Isaac still seems to be upset. You don't really get it, because as far as you knew you did nothing to piss him off. Nevertheless he still avoids you during break and sometimes you catch him glaring at you or your friends from across the room.
On top of that you slowly start to regret calling Dylan your crush as Kiley tries her best to be a good friend and gives him little hints in order to find out if he likes you too. All you could do is watch and act like you were excited about it when in reality you couldn't care less.
Almost two weeks have passed and you still have no idea who your secret admirer is. Valentine's Day was over so no more notes and no more roses. What if he disappeared until Valentine's Day next year? You would have to wait the whole goddamn year and that only for another anonymous note? And what if he didn't like you anymore next year? You would probably never find out who it was!
Frustrated you bang your head against the kitchen table. Jackie had invited you to the Walters' house for a girls night. Probably she wants to distract you from racking your brains over who it could be. But as she is just as curious as you, the topic comes up again and again.
"I asked my classmates. Nobody saw who left the rose", you tell her. "Do you think it's someone you know? Maybe someone you're friends with?", Jackie asks. "Why do you think that?" "Well, it was written by computer. Maybe the person feared you would recognize the handwriting." Your eyes widen. Why didn't you think of that?
A quiet laughter makes you turn around. Isaac has entered the room. He grabs a glass of water and grins at you. "Are you still trying to find your secret lover?"

"Yes, I do and I won't stop until I know who it is." Your voice sounds determined even though you have no idea what else you could do.
"He could have at least left a hint", Jackie sighed, "Why send someone a rose without the intention to maybe go on a date together?" Isaac shrugs. "Maybe it was just a joke."
You glare at him across the table. "Thank you so much for encouraging me, idiot!" Again he shrugs and walks out of the kitchen again, murmuring just as loudly so you could hear it "Well, if you are into popular Football guys, you should get used to being played."
You don't know what to say. Why is he being such an idiot? Jackie takes your hand, smiling softly. "Hey, forget about him. Maybe he's just stressed." You nod and smile at her even though you don't think that being stressed gives him the right to let it out on others.
A few days later as you walk up to your locker with Jackie you see another note stuck there. Again it had your name written on it. Jackie squeaks excitedly as you take it and unfold it.
"Meet me at 8 on the Football field."
Your heart skips a beat. He wants to meet you! That is your chance of finding out who it is. But as you continue to think about it, also a feeling of nervousness starts to appear. Do you really want to know who it is? What if it is someone you don't like or aren't attracted to? Maybe it would be better not to destroy the illusion of your secret admirer.
Jacky looks at you in disbelief as you tell her your doubt. "No way, you're going!" Her voice allows no contradiction. "You were trying to find out who it is for weeks and now you don't want to take this opportunity? You go there, otherwise I'll drag you there! Your choice."
Okay, sounds like you had no other option. You will go there.
You can't wait for your classes to end. Your eyes are fixed upon the clock and you tap your foot nervously. When finally the bell rings, you are upon the first to storm out of the classroom.
Your friends are there to comfort you during waiting for it to finally be 8 o'clock. Grace lists tons and tons of names who she thinks it is, not noticing that she makes you even more nervous by doing so.
At 7:55 you stand up, gather all your courage and make your way to the football field. It's already getting dark and nobody's there. You stand there waiting, your eyes darting around in search of someone.
Times goes by, it's 8:05 then 8:10, 8:15. Your nervousness fades and instead you start to doubt. Are you maybe really getting fooled? What if it was really just a joke? You are just thinking about leaving when you finally notice a figure walking towards you. Your heart starts racing and as he comes closer you finally see who it is. You stand there in disbelief. "Isaac?!"
The boy smiles shyly at you. "Hi, Y/N." "You... are you... no that's not possible!" You don't know what to say. It seems like all the words had just disappeared from inside your head. Was this a joke? Isaac rubs the back of his neck nervously. He can barely look you in the eye. "Are you disappointed that it's me?"
You had never seen him this shy or nervous before. He always seemed so... relaxed and cool with everything. It had to be a joke, it had to be a joke! Every second that you remain silent is pure torture for the poor boy standing in front of you. He clearly seems to take your silence as a "yes". "I know I'm not the hot and charming Cole Walter or fucking Dylan!" His voice cracks and he tries desperately not to show how hurt he is.
You finally manage to get out more than just a stutter. "It was you? The rose was from you? This is not a joke?" Isaac looks at you, torn between sadness and confusion. "Why should this be a joke?" Your face burns with embarrassment. "You're one of my best friends... I never thought that you'd have feelings for me."
Isaac lowers his head and his dark hair falls into his eyes, covering them almost completely. "You're amazing, you're smart, beautiful and the best friend someone could wish for. How could I not fall in love with you?"
Would it feel weird to kiss him since you had known him for so long? You had thought about it before, never seriously though, he was only a friend after all. But now... the thought of it doesn't sound as weird as you thought it would. Slowly you walk towards him. "Why did you never tell me?"
Isaac bites his lip. "I wanted to, I really did, but then you stood there in front of me and I panicked. Also I didn't want to ruin our friendship."
With a small smile you grab his hand and he looks at you, clearly surprised. "I want to tell you a secret", you whisper and lean towards him, your heart racing in your chest. Just before his lips touch yours you confess: "I lied when I told you I hoped it was Dylan. Actually I hoped that it was you."
You can see from the look on his face that he didn't expect that. "Really?" "Really." A huge smile crosses his lips. He cups your face with his hands and pulls you towards him, smashing his lips onto yours. His kiss is passionate and warm, sending a tingling sensation through your body.
As you pull away from each other he looks at you with the brightest smile possible. "If I had known that, I would have confessed years ago!" You roll your eyes laughing and pull him in for another kiss.

"You can thank me later"
Headcanons:
Being best friends with Anne Sallow
(contains Sebastian x f!reader)

- The first time you meet Anne the two of you immediately get along very well. She is more than happy that after all the weeks that she spent alone with her uncle Salomon, she finally has someone her age - and on top of that A GIRL - to talk to.
- You both spend the whole afternoon talking about Hogwarts while laughing and giggling about the memories that she shares with you.
"Do you know how horrified Leander gets when he sees a spider? One time during class he jumped on his desk and screamed like a little girl for at least five minutes! Professor Hecat had to promise him three times that it was gone before he agreed to sit down again."
- Of course Sebastian starts to feel left out pretty soon. He left you two for only a few couple of minutes and when he steps back in the room you are so busy talking that you don't even notice him. He jumps around, making a scene and acting like a total drama queen, which makes you and Anne cry out in laughter. He dramatically points his finger at Anne: "Stop stealing my best friend!"
- He is not really angry, though, more relived that Anne finally seems happy again. It's been a very long time since he heard her laugh like this. He even feels like she's finally able to forget about the curse - at least for a few minutes.
- After your first meeting you visit Anne on a regular basis. Almost every weekend you spend some time with her, often bringing some snacks from Honeydukes or something from Zonko's to cheer her up.
- Sebastian really appreciates what you do for her and - if that's even possible - he falls even harder for you. Of course Anne doesn't miss the hidden glances and the way he smiles when he looks at you. Not to mention the blush on his face and the fact that he often acts like an idiot in front of you to get your attention. Maybe it's also because of twin intuition that his feelings for you are like an open book to her.
"Merlin, I can't believe how nobody sees that!"
- She loves to tease him about it, which almost every single time gives him nearly a heart attack and causes him to panic as he fears that she might tell you, since you two grew really close. And girls tell their best friends everything, don't they?
"Awww does my twin brother have a crush?"
"Shut up, Anne! That's not true!"
"Of course not, there are a million other reasons why you look at her like that!"
She starts imitating Sebastian's glances and gestures, which causes his face to blush a deeper shade of red than the Gryffindors' flag.
- Even though she likes to tease her brother about his crush on you (by threatening him to tell you if he didn't confess soon) she will not say a single word to you about it. Once in a while she might drop a hint or ask you a question in order to find out whether or not you like Sebastian too. She might say things like:
"Don't you think that he's acting weird lately?"
Or
"He let you have some of his Bertie Bott's Beans? Wow, normally he never shares with anyone! You must be really special to him!"
- Even though Sebastian constantly flirts with you he won't make a proper move for a very long time as he is afraid that you don't like him as more than a friend. While Anne was really amused about that at first, she starts to get pretty annoyed after a few months.
"For Merlin's sake, Sebastian! When will you finally confess to her? If you wait any longer, other boys may take their chance! You know she's amazing, a lot of people fancy her!"
Anne's words haunt Sebastian in his dreams so he decides that the next time you accompany him to Feldcroft he will tell you about his feelings. But again he is too nervous. He just doesn't find the right moment and the right words to tell you (even though he forced Ominis to act out this scene with him various times).
- In the meantime Anne has made a plan herself. She knew exactly that her brother wouldn't find the courage to tell you so she decided that it was finally time for her to take action. As soon as you knock on the door she jumps up, runs outside and takes both your hands while giggling excitedly.
"Y/N, finally! How was your date with Garreth? You have to tell me everything!"
She leads you inside without giving you the chance to stare at her in confusion and ask her what the hell she was talking about. Obviously you weren't on a date with Garreth. Garreth was just a good friend. Your heart belonged to someone else. That special someone who now stood frozen outside the door, absolutely horrified at what he just heard. Garreth FUCKING Weasley!
- He screams out in frustration before clenching his hands into fists and storming inside where you and Anne are standing. Anne is still giggling and asking questions about your "date", barely leaving you time to answer. Sebastian can't believe how happy she is. She knows exactly that he loves you and she still seems to be so excited about the idea of you and Weasley! In his hurtred and anger he doesn't even notice how confused you are and that you try to interrupt Anne various times by asking her, what she was talking about.
- "Anne, what the hell?" He shouts while grabbing her arm. "You knew Y/N was going on a date with Weasley and you didn't bother telling me?!"
Anne smiles innocently. "Of course I knew. She's my best friend. Actually it was my idea. She told me that Garreth passed her a note in potions, asking her if she wanted to go to Hogsmeade with him. I told her to say yes. Garreth is a nice guy, so why not?"
- Sebastian is so furious, he can't believe what she says. "I told you months ago, that I love her and you set her up with GARRETH? WHAT THE HELL, ANNE?"
- Anne's smile gets even bigger as she watches you stare at him in disbelief. "You love me?" Sebastian freezes as he realises that he just confessed to you (if that's what you could call that screaming and shouting). His face turns bright red and he gets all flustered, nervously rubbing the back of his head. "Yes, I do." He finally manages to say.
- Now it's your turn to blush a deep shade of red. Sebastian Sallow loved you? You couldn't help but smile. You never expected him to have a crush on you. While you try real hard not to turn into a blushing and giggling mess he still stares at you. Of course, you're such an idiot! He obviously wanted an answer, a reaction, any sign that you're still alive.
- "Sebastian...", you stutter while slowly stepping closer and taking his hand. "Did you really think that I would go on a date with Garreth? I thought it was quite obvious that I like someone else." You pull him closer and he holds his breath. "Do you really think I would drop everything and go into the forbidden forest to fight some spiders with you if I don't have a crush on you? Wow, I guess even the Hogwarts ghosts know I like you!"
- A huge smile appears on Sebastian's face and before you could say something else he cups your face with his hands and kisses you. Your heart skips a beat when you kiss him back. You couldn't believe it was finally happening!
- When the two of you let go of each other, you see Anne standing there with a huge smile, looking completely satisfied with herself. "You can thank me later!" You laugh and pull her into a hug while Sebastian stares at her with a grin, shacking his head. She really was a true Slytherin.

Headcanons: Friends to Lovers
Daiki Aomine x reader

- You and Aomine have known each other since you were little kids. Your moms are best friends, so you two basically grew up together and as a result you started to get pretty close. Not a day goes by where you don't hear from each other and you have sleepovers almost every weekend.
- When the two of you were younger you spent almost every afternoon on the basketball court. You sat on a bench and enjoyed the warm weather while Aomine showed you his tricks. He always made sure you watched his each and every move.
"Watch this y/n!"
"Did you see that?"
"There is a new trick I want to show you!"
He always got so excited when he saw how impressed you were. Of course you tried to play it cool, but he could read you like an open book.
- One time you asked him to teach you how to play.
"That's super easy, just watch this!"
And he dribbles you out and doesn't even give you a chance to score once. Maybe basketball wasn't exactly your thing (especially with Aomine as a teacher).
- Aomine is not exactly good with words. Whenever you feel sad he doesn't know what to say and when he tries to cheer you up, he often comes off as grumpy or annoyed. But he still wants to be there for you and comfort you. Therefore he will rely on physical contact instead. A long lasting hug, stroking your hair, lying down next to you and cuddling until you fall asleep.
- As you grow older you often go shopping together. Most of the time Aomine will complain about how long it takes you to choose the perfect skirt or the perfect dress, but he secretely loves how you always ask him for his opinion whenever you try something on.
"What do you say, Dai? The red shirt or the white one?"
- Of course you still visit his basketball games but you don't hang out at the basketball court anymore during the week. After all Aomine thinks he doesn't need practise anymore. His famous words "the only one who can beat me is me" is the only answer you get when you ask him if he planned to skip training again. And yes, each and every time you want to punch him in the face for that. At the same time, however, it breaks your heart to see that his passion for basketball is gone. He always seems bored, tired of it even. It has been a very long time since you last saw him smile while playing. You miss this happy version of him.
- There is something about Daiki Aomine, you definitely can't deny it. The way he smiles (he does smile a lot around you), the way he always seems so relaxed. You like joining him at his naps on the roof and resting your head in his lap while he grumbles something you can't understand. Every touch (no matter how small it is) makes your heart flutter. You try to ignore it though, thinking he would never see you as more than a friend.
- While you never told Aomine about your little crush on him, you do tell him about your crushes on other boys. He's your best friend, so of course this is something you want to talk about. Aomine often teases you about it, as he loves seeing you blush and cover your face with your hands. Lately, however, he cramps every time you rave about another boy. He also finds himself glaring at the boys you fancy during his classes while wondering what the hell you saw in them. He's absolutely not good at hiding his jealousy so he will be grumpy the whole day. Of course he doesn't tell you the reason for his behaviour but starts to distance himself instead.
"It's nothing, y/n, stop bothering me!"
His behaviour really starts to upset you lately. Why was he acting so different? Did you say something wrong? You start to keep a comfortable distance. You're used to Aomine's mood, but this is the first time he also starts acting bitchy towards you.
- So the next time you have a crush on someone, you don't tell him. Instead you start hanging out with this boy more often and you two really get along very well.
- Of course it doesn't take long until Aomine hears about it. Y/n hanging out with another boy? Jealousy starts burning inside of him and even though he knows exactly that it's none of his business who you're meeting, he can't switch it off. With his hands clenched into fists he stomps through the streets, not caring if he bumps into someone.
- When he finally finds you in your favourite cafè, drinking your favourite drink and laughing about something this boy had said, he can't take it anymore. He storms over, grabs your hand and pulls you to your feet and away from that boy. Of course you are more than upset about this and soon the two of you start screaming at each other.
"Who the fuck is that?"
"Why do you care, Daiki?"
- A very good question that he has already asked himself several times. You were his best friend, the one person who knew him better than everyone else, the one who always supported him and accepted him. The one who always forgave him whenever he said something rude or acted like a total idiot (which happened very often). Of course he also thought you were beautiful. Even hot. Why didn't he want you to flirt with someone else? The answer popped up in his head all of a sudden. Maybe he knew it all along. He loved you. He fucking loved you.
- Again, Aomine isn't good with words so he doesn't know what he should answer you. Instead he just pulls you towards him and kisses you. A deep and passionate kiss, filled with everything he wanted to say. After a few seconds he breaks free, breathing heavily.
"I want you to be with me."
- You're absolutely shocked. Yes, you have dreamt about kissing him several times, but you have never thought it would actually happen. You didn't even think he likes you like that.
"Didn't think I would ever see you speechless", he smirks.
That stupid smirk that always makes your heart melt.
"You can't just ignore me for days and then crash my date and kiss me."
Your eyes search for your date but the boy' s seat is empty. You didn't notice him leaving. Aomine's gaze still rests on you.
"Didn't I just show you I can?"
You roll your eyes and Aomine finally sighs, scratching the back of his head. He is nervous, yes, and he can no longer hide it from you.
"I love you, y/n. I guess I always have. Give me a chance to proof to you that we're the perfect match."
His words make your heart flutter while at the same time you know exactly that it's up to you to decide.
"Dai..."
You look in his eyes and see panic. Quickly you take his hand.
"You're an absolute idiot! But you're my idiot! Come here."
You grab the collar of his shirt and pull him in for another kiss.
