My favorite thing to do to X-Files characters is give them scars from canonical injuries that logically they SHOULD have scars from. If that makes them sexy that’s not my fault.

Literally obsessed with the piano wire cutting into Mulder’s throat, the numerous bullet holes from Vietnam and the gnarly head injury in season 9 on Walter, and the gash on Dana’s neck from weird worm extraction. Sooooooo sexy of them to get beaten up on the regular 😍

Maybe I should do a rewatch and map out all the places they ideally would have scars….

Nope, it's a Bermuda Triangle time travel episode! I remember being extremely annoyed by this episode in 1998 because I wanted more of the alien conspiracy stuff from the movie. Now that I am a sophisticated adult, I know that the myth arc episodes suck and monsters of the week are where it's at.

Chris Carter gets fancy with the direction in the one, long stretches of steadicam following characters around with no cuts, supposedly inspired by Hitchcock's "Rope".
