we all know that there's definitely a rat in the Agency, right? so who's it?
after book 4 demo, I thought it was Ostin, but why would he expose MC to the Trappers? he wanted to use these powers for his own benefit, not to give them to a bunch of greedy humans and supernaturals. so, that got me thinking that there's someone else behind all these kidnappings and traps. someone who benefits from the leak of information about MC, someone with enough power and status to cover it all up. this could explain why no one is doing anything about it.
OR it could be a regular employee in a gray uniform, so they can get close to MC without being noticed (like in book 3 when someone saw detective and Ellidor/Vieno/Tapeesha in the cafeteria)
OR it could be multiple people/supernaturals involved in it, which is even worse lol
the main question is, will this be addressed in the book, or will we just continue to ignore the fact that someone from the Agency clearly doesn't want anything good for MC?
#the wayhaven chronicles#i hope it's someone from the chamber for so many reasons#mostly because the way some of them behaved during their meeting with the mc was a little suspicious?#and it would explain why nothing's getting done about this supposed mole on the inside#because what do you mean someone is leaking information about your secret organization and you don't turn everything upside down#in an attempt to find who it is

Let me dream for a moment but I'm thinking about Nate turning Sai into a vampire. He wants to spend the rest of eternity with him and so he comes to terms with the fact that he'll be the one to turn him sooner or later. And while his own turning was traumatic, he wants to make sure that Sai's experience is the total opposite. Nate wants to make it as romantic as it can be - so he picks their wedding night for it, he chooses the outfits and prepares what to say to him, repeats it in his mind over and over until it makes him sick, putting these images in his head, knowing that this is also what Sai wants
#oc: sai batra#ship: sai/nate#i'm feeling so unwell about these two right now#like it's not even funny#and considering that sai's actual turning is an impulsive act born out of desperation to keep him alive?#oh i'm so sick

underrated lancelot moment when he hears that tristan ditched iseult of ireland for iseult blanchemains and is like. how could tristan do this. how could tristan be so disloyal as to leave his girlfriend (his uncle’s wife) for his own lawfully wedded wife. disgusting. the friendship between us is over (lancelot has never met tristan). if i ever see him i’ll kick his ass

Hi hi ♥️ numbers 3 and 10 from the fic asks?
Thank youuuu 💛
3. What's something you like about your writing?
The emotional reaction it gets out of others? Does that count? Maybe the way I describe stuff? Also character's inner thoughts, that one is always fun to write :^)
10. What genre is generally the easiest or most enjoyable for you to write? Which is the hardest?
Hm, I wouldn't say it's the genres and more just, very specific parts? I find describing overall situations, actions of characters, emotions, etc. to be the easiest. Dialogue is the hardest part for me because I'm always so anxious about getting these characters right. But if we are talking about genres then I guess the easiest would be angst and hurt/comfort. I'm so embarrassed to say it but smut is so difficult for me to write. Honestly the only reason why I haven't written Sai having the time of his life with Nate or Adam is because I can't find ways to describe it well. Or maybe idk, I like describing it in a poetic way and I don't think I could do that for more than a sentence or two :^)

quite curious about this! I was wonder when vampires drink from people or other supernaturals is it pleasurable for them? Or is it simply a means of hunger or food? And is it also pleasurable for the person they’re drinking from? And can they switch from making it pleasurable to painful? Sorry for all these questions but I was about to burst from curiosity 😭
It depends.
As the MC might experience in Book One, it can be extremely painful to be bitten by a vampire.
But as the MC may also experience in later books, it can be incredibly pleasurable—for both parties!
Hope this helps! Thank you so much for the ask :)
#the wayhaven chronicles#ryn. im thinking about sai#<- hehe hihi :^)#adam biting sai and having a moment IS REAL#well it's real in my heart and in sai's canon anyway but lmao

Obsessed with the parallels that once A finally open themselves up to accept their feelings for the detective, it's like a a huge dam breaking and they cannot hold back, whereas when N finally realize the depth of their own affections towards the detective, their walls that were once made of thick translucent glass, start closing up brick by brick.
#the wayhaven chronicles#this in itself is tragic#and it becomes even more tragic if you're on the LT#and in this essay i will#the camera cuts to me laying on the ground sobbing

17 and 20 for the writer asks !
Thank youuuu 💛
17. Are there any songs you want to write a songfic for?
I'm not really good at them but if I were to write a songfic, I'd pick Shake It Out by Florence & The Machine for it. It's a fitting song for Sai's confession, for the affair reveal and everything that comes after.
20. Answer any one of the other questions that you want to!
Hm, well if I can pick a question then I'll go with "What part of [insert fic] is your favorite?" and I'll answer it for "The state of affairs" because this moment, oh this moment, it makes me feel sick, it makes me feel unwell but it's still my favourite part. "A moment passes. Then another. And then, Adam’s words cut through the uncomfortable silence, making Sai almost choke on air. “Do not marry him.” “I’m sorry?” the sheer absurdness of Adam’s request makes Sai’s body shake where he sits, from anger, from confusion, from all of the emotions that he’s been trying to hide while Adam once again pushed away from him. “Do not marry him.” Adam repeats, as if his words didn’t reach Sai’s ears in an instant just a moment before. “I’ve known Nate longer than you have. This… This engagement is a mistake.” He’s not looking at him, while the words spill out of his mouth. It’s too late to stop them, it’s too late to hold back now."
