He didn't seem like the type to be on the run from the law, judging by the quality and colour of his clothes; which screamed his mother having picked them out. And he suspected that he wasn't in trouble with Marcel, but the younger vampire certainly knew who this stranger was. He know who everyone was. Which led to the question, how do you define trouble? Or how did he define trouble would probably be a better one. Clocking her head at him, she inspected him with greater detail; ignoring the witches and stepping closer towards the teenager.

"I've been told I'm a great listener." she lied, her lips forming a smooth smile. It probably wasn't reassuring, it probably screamed seduction and trouble, but hadn't he just said that he liked that? Or was involved with it at any rate.

He was young, too. Well, technically, the same physical age as the Petrova; but she could imagine the look on his face if she said she had five centuries on him. "You've come to the wrong place then."

He’d bitten and changed his best friend Stiles to save him from dying because if he hadn’t —-he’d be without a friend that was with him throughout that entire problem that they’d encountered in the town of Beacon Hills. Cora, Lydia, everyone. They were going to be okay with them gone weren’t they? At least everything was going to go back to normal over there now that the big problem was all done.

Then again Scott didn’t know what New Orleans held.

                      He frowned. “You don’t really want to know.” SHe seemed to be someone that was slightly prying but not—- exactly. What was there about her that was intriguing so suddenly anyway? Maybe this was a whole new door opening to more problems than ever.

             ”It’s a lot of of escaping trouble. Being eighteen and well—- a lot of trouble.” How awkward was he going to have to be because of some strange instinct kicking in for him?

Katherine's hand was itching to get to her sleeve, where a wooden stake waited; which she could gladly shoot into her heart. The last time the pair had met, Katherine had been torturing Caroline; threatening to kill her then boyfriend, Matt Donovan - and killed her with a pillow. She was surprised at how calm Caroline was, how she wasn't trying to get revenge on the person who had prevented her from growing up. She was slightly suspicious, so kept her distance away from her. She forced a laugh through her lips, pretending she wasn't hurting at the mere mention of Elijah. "More of a collector really." she replied, gesturing to her laden pockets. "Which leaves you as the one with a thing for bad boys. Although, I'll admit, you have better taste than Elena."

She hadn’t actually noticed Katherine as she was walking in, figuring the house to be empty she had not reason to be scouting for another life form. Perhaps that’s why it startled her as badly as it did when the little Petrova harlot revealed herself with a dark smirk perching on her lips. Her nose turned up at Katherine’s comment and she couldn’t help but feel slightly rash at the thought of it. She wasn’t here for Klaus. Yet there wasn’t a doubt in her blonde little fibers why Katherine was slinking around the Mikaelson mansion. “I could say the same thing to you, but yours did drop you to go live happily ever after with his brother.” She quirked back, clearly still holding a grudge with the doppelganger. Elijah was a nice guy, and there wasn’t a part of Caroline that understood why he would ever want to care about Katherine. She was vile, and Caroline could only imagine why she was even trying to conduct conversation with her.

"I admire your loyalty to them." she told him, thinking of the beautiful blonde she had been introduced to a few days ago; who had regarded her so coldly. "Selfishness, although it is a sin, is sometimes the best course of action." she continued, biting down on her tongue to stop her from adding a personal detail about the man whose child she had carried. "But we should always think of happiness, should we not?" she pondered.

"As are you, dear Katerina." He told her just as gently. He sighed a bit, looking her over once again, "I have my own obligations, Niklaus and minding him being one of them. As for inheritance… it’s a tricky thing. Money and influence matter little when you’ve promised to look after your family."
