wait, wait, I'm starting to suspect my experiences are not universal and I need to know

#9 times out of 10 phone #my main place where i like to read fic is bed #before i fall asleep and when i wake up are my prime reading times #i also will read in my car if I'm early to work and sometimes on my lunch break #i don't mind reading fic on my computer and occasionally i do #but if I'm on my computer I'm usually just busy doing other stuff

just finished watching series 19 of taskmaster, a show I'd never heard of until I heard jason mantzoukas was gonna be on it so I watched it for him and I really enjoyed it, he was great of course but my surprise love was stevie martin whom I adored and then of course the fact these two were teamed up was amazing, I LOVED their energy and vibe and they obviously really gelled. wish I could see more of their comedy stylings together. javie martzoukas!

yes yes yessss, you have pulled out the perfect quote to encapsulate this trait of penelope's. she tends not to believe in the idea that there's such a thing as true evil; that every person must hold at least some sliver of humanity in them. I think she's seen the plight of so many unsubs - researched their histories and seen what went wrong in their lives to break them and turn them bad - that she deeply understands how trauma and pain can twist a person. but she doesn't give up hope that underneath it is a soul that can be reached. I think she always believes in the ability for a person to change what's in their heart and mind. she's under no illusions that elias can show a bit of humanity and that means he's forgiven for all his crimes and should be freed. but she sees no reason why he shouldn't be treated like a human being and shown compassion and given the opportunity to prove he's changed.

Rewatched 4x19 recently — this line, “I chose to see the good in people” is so quintessentially Penelope Garcia and something that hasn’t changed over the last 18 seasons.

Thinking about this line especially as we watch, analyze and reflect on her interactions with and emotions toward Elias…

#I feel like he’s the type of person who’s willing to be a bit monstrous to protect the people in his life that he sees as purely good #<- prev #oh yeah i love this aspect to his character that hasn't really been deeply explored on the show but we've seen the hints of it #he lets scratch fall to his death absolutely tired of the way he's tormented to the team and after he tortured emily #he broke rules and disobeyed orders to go after the guy that killed phil and i 100% think he would have killed him if emily hadn't shown up #the grave lethality to the way he said “good” after finding out the guy who shot penelope was already dead #he feels like he was put on this earth to protect others and he spent his entire adult life in those types of roles #and he especially will not abide by anyone hurting or threatening the ones he loves - other purely good people #gosh i love luke alvez

Took forever to finally watch the latest episode and the last thing Elias said made my brain go CRAZY (the non linear format had me going ?? !!! ? ! ?! A thousand times) (Rebecca welcome to the weird bau family get used to it) (also having John Allerdyce in this season has been amazing I'm like this is the networks Last Stand) (JJ you looked so fucking good this episode) (I had a Feeling they wanted the bau to overextend not that they weren't already tbh) (brain scrambled and Elias is holding the fork)

ohh, the line about how it went quiet before he killed someone? I loved that line too. nice and eerie and dark (and hot). I LOVED THE NON LINEAR FORMAT! i'm a sucker for it!! hahaha Rebecca is gonna have to learn FAST that the BAU are codependent weirdos so marrying Tara means marrying all of them tbqh. But they'll be ride or die for her like they are for each other! i love Aaron Stanford, I was soo excited he got to make another appearance and wasn't in just the one ep. too bad he's such an a-hole in this LOL. JJ always looks good!! yeah the BAU totally fell for that one, spreading everybody super thin all over town and leaving Voit under just a handful of marshals' care. *facepalm* i guess they sort of have an excuse bc Elias' lawyer kicked the FBI out and said only the marshals could guard him but STILL. HAHAH Elias brainscramble is worth it though <3
