New Zealand: The Abel Tasman Coast Track : GPS-Touren.ch
Past big rocks to the remote natural pools. Here is a wonderful place to take a break and refresh yourself. Unfortunately we are not the only ones who have this idea. So check the tides in advance. If the Estuary is inaccessible, you have to take the longer way. The path itself is very easy to walk. There are no significant gradients, but really great views of tiny, golden bays. The Abel Tasman National Park is especially famous for its golden sandy beaches and tiny bays. From the main part of the track, mostly small side paths lead you directly to the bays. Indescribable and even the beautiful photos can't reproduce the experienced and internalized with the intensity, how it feels for everyone who hikes here. The Abel Tasman Coast Track is an unforgettable experience and always a wonderful memory. The walk can be done as an individual traveller, independent of advance bookings, but guided tours are also offered by various professional operators.
Even if you are kayaking, you have to follow the rules on the track and book your accommodation in a tent or hat in advance.the late afternoon we wanted to go back to our motorhome in Totaranui.

That was the moment when my chin sagged down a bit for the first time in my life.

Mirror Lakes - The mirror of the world on the way to Milford Sound
Actually the last ride of the day at quarter past three. Since we shorten our way back a little bit, we arrive much too early at the landing stage (beach). A couple from China, whom we already met on the first day, tells us that they simply rebooked their trip via one of the free phone booths. One hour later we see the water taxi approaching.

At this turn-off we continue in the direction of "Anchorage" along the wooded coast. The trail leads to the southern end of Bark Bay - past a turn-off to a campground - and climbs to a lookout point, South Head.
