i think the worst part of bug (and other underrated creature) positivity posts is that people just dont know how to shut up. like oh you hate bugs? you're scared of bugs? do you really NEED the OP of that bug positivity post to hear about your opinion specifically?

keep that shit to yourselves.

this includes folks who "agree" with the OP but always follow up with how that insect makes them feel icky and terrified and what not. like hey if you really agreed then maybe you'd just reblog without venting your frustrations about an animal just existing? those types of comments are just as tiresome to see, believe it or not.

a child came into the nature center and saw tadpoles for the first time and when i told him they're baby frogs he thought i was lying and i suddenly realized that if you're 3 and don't know that tadpoles become frogs it does sound pretty fake. this kid will not fall for made up shit online he is a born skeptic.

THERE IS. a website. that takes 3D models with seams and pulls it apart to make a plushie pattern and informs you where things need to be edited or darts added for the best effect. and then it lets you scale it and print off your pattern. and I want to lose my MIND because I've lost steam halfway through so many plushie patterns in the mind numbing in betweens of unwrapping, copying all of the meshes down as pieces, transferring those, testing them, then finding obvious tweaks... like... this would eradicate 99% of my trial and error workflow for 3D models to plushies & MAYBE ILL FINALLY FINISH SCREAMTAIL...

I'm kind of obsessed with the way sheep are handled. So efficiently. It always looks kind of unpleasant at first and then you notice the sheep are fine with it. They're always being flipped upside down and rolled down a chute or some shit. A shepherd will be tossing that thang in the air and spinning it like pizza dough & the sheep just lets it happen
