energy givers vs energy takers

Energy givers:
making time for your hobbies
your favourite music
spending time outside
a balanced diet
literature, poetry, and art
quiet moments / alone time
proper rest and quality sleep
good company and conversations
taking time to reflect
exercise, stretching, going on walks
Energy takers:
consuming negative media
people pleasing
doom scrolling
surrounding yourself with negative people
overworking and overthinking
not living in the moment
procrastinating
chasing after people who don't deserve you
clutter and mess
changing yourself to fit in
As always, please feel free to share your own suggestions and tips in the comments! <3
love ya ・:*₊‧✩

DON'T GO ON HAMAS.//////COM
I recently saw tweets about this website called Hamas .com.
It is a site made by Israel to steal your information.
Its just another way that Israel will harm Palestinians by making a fake website to confuse advocates
PLEASE GO TO ARAB.ORG INSTEAD FOR DAILY CLICKS

college diaries: entry #001

07.01.2024
i am so grateful that i got accepted into my dream school, not only because of the academics but aswell as how easy the commute is for me. i get to sit on a bus for 30-40 minutes, and ofcourse i got my earphones in. sza my beloved 🛐🛐🛐, i like to listen to her songs whenever i go to my school.
i went to school today for submitting admission requirements and also my deferment letter. the process was fast and easy. the registrar that i spoke to was also very kind, she even encouraged me to enrol as soon as possible. unfortunately due to financial circumstances, i'll start my college journey next year. atleast then, i'd be better prepared 💕. next year (around this time), i'll have more entries about college life :)) i'll still study in between this gap year tho!
after that, i walked around the university and found a pretty nice seating area. i liked how they looked and i ended up drawing them aswell! there were also a ton of cats there, they like being pet !! i didn't pet them for long tho, i've been bitten by a cat before and i do not want to get shots again 😞😞
there are also a LOT of trees here 💕!! but also a lot of mosquitoes as well 😭😭

Quality always beats quantity, so study a little every day rather than cram everything in last minute📚.

study session #001
જ⁀➴date: june 27, 2024
。゚゚・ 。 ・゚゚。
゚。 time: 11:30am - 1:30pm
゚・。 ・゚
lessons learned:
- significant figures
- stoichiometry
- limiting reactant

―୨୧⋆ ˚ notes:
- it's summer break here in the ph, but i got accepted into one the top universities so its time to channel my inner rory gilmore, elle woods, paris geller, or whichever patron saint of girlbossing in academics i can call upon
- unfortunately for me though, the writer of my life has different plans for me and i have to take a gap year 😞
- well atleast i have time to prepare! the program that i got accepted into is CHEMISTRY!!! sorry for the caps, i just really love learning chem
- it's been a year since i last learned it in a classroom setting and now that i graduated i'll try to brush up on my memory
- my memory is baddd. i can remember the concepts, but i SUCK when it comes to computations. so here i am, trying to relearn them.
- i am so thankful that mit published these online video lessons and review problems for free, because trust me i wouldn't know where i would start studying
- the little guy kept me company whilst i suffered on how to find the limiting reactant (which was embarrassingly easy, and it made me wish that i watched a tutorial first before i started winging it)

ok so you support the disabled, disordered, and mentally ill. but are you normal when someone takes long to respond to you? or if they have a hard time listening to you? when someone has a hard time giving you their attention? or when their manners aren’t perfect? or when someone makes mistakes that may be obvious or simple to you? or when someone talks loudly or “causes a scene?” are you normal when people have to think really hard to explain things? or when they have a hard time putting their thoughts into words?
are you normal when people’s hair is unkempt or oily or visibly unbrushed? or when their face might be full of acne? or when they don’t have deodorant on for one reason or another? how about if their clothes are dirty?
are you normal about disabled/disordered/mentally ill people when they make you a little uncomfortable?

Study while others are sleeping.
Decide while others are delaying.
Prepare while others are daydreaming.
Begin while others are procastinating.
Work while others are wishing.
Save while others are wasting.
Listen while others are talking.
Persist while others are quitting.

social media has really warped our perception of creativity and hobbies. Stop doing things to post them. Just write. Just journal. Just sketch. Just read. Just annotate. Just sing. Just crochet. Just do the thing you’re going to do with the assumption no one will ever see or know you did it. Stop performing. Just enjoy it.
