i missed liking marina, lol. princess of power feels like the older sister of electra heart, which i always associated with college and walking to french class. it must have been a long walk because i always remember it princess of power isn't my favorite song on the album, per se, but the lyrics feel meaningful to me. 'i'm gonna change my whole life / i've had a revelation' — like... that's me on this website wishing that change didn't have to happen so slowly, haha. in seriousness, it gives me the same feeling as mitski's 'change change change is gonna come but when when when' or 'hope is a thing with feathers,' even i like to think that i can be a person who changes their whole life, too
