Titbits and updates

hopefully today I will be finishing updating all my themes with:

proper styling for audio posts

as well as removing pseudo-element (icons) from permalink pages.

The reason is phosphor icons keep changing their codes, and I'm sick of keeping up with them. Instead of arrows and hearts, avatars will take its place in themes where they weren't.

Hello, I have a similar ask as another anon which is that I am using Isla and I want the sidebar to stay in position like the sidebar in your own current theme. I want it on the screen even when I'm at the bottom of my page. I did what you told that anon, I changed sticky to relative. When it was sticky it was in white, when I rewrote it as relative it turned orange. I saved it but it didn't change anything about the sidebar. What can I do?

Hi there, hmm I'm not sure what you mean. The theme is set to sticky anyways aka stay put no matter how long you scroll, you shouldn't be using relative in this case. Come off anon and send me a message instead and we'll work it out.

Oh, it seems the Jude theme is okay now… The icons are back

ah good, I think it was a sever issue. no problem.

I thought it was just my problem, but after checking the Jude theme preview, everything is broken too… The light/dark mode toggle doesn’t work, and all the icons don’t show up

I really really need you or someone else to come off anon and send me a link. can't fix what I can't see you guys.

Important Kana theme update

Lucide icons stopped working for some reason and caused loads of script bits to not work. I just updated it to use Tabler Icons instead. Instructions are in the theme post here.

ALSO audio posts are now styled and search bar optional by toggling it on in the customization panel.

i just updated kana to the latest version and the audio player looks odd... is there a fix for that?

Most of my themes are mimicking tumblrs own style, it was a choice I made earlier this year when audio players were a bit wobbly coding wise. I'm planning on taking a day out of the calendar to install glenthemes and annasthms audio plugins but I haven't had the energy or time to do it. my themes Sprung and Autumn has these audio plugins though as I've just released/updated them.

EDIT: ok I just tested the theme and it looks like the icons are messing with the scripts and probably audio display. i'm (right now) working on updating kana!

2ND EDIT: theme has been updated I highly recommend you install it once more. audio posts are now styled :)

Thank you for the lovely update to the Autumn theme, but is it possible that there's something wrong with it? It seems like if you have tags on toggle, clicking on the tags (text or symbol) doesn't do anything. It should make the tags appear but doesn't. Or is it just me?

Hey there, I've just tested the theme again and it works. Have you tried doing a reset? delete all code, write something like "x" and hit update or save. then try and insert the theme code again.
