a personal headcanon i have about misa is that she plays into the "dumb blonde/bimbo" sort of trope to appear more docile to others while keeping her real agenda hidden. but Also, upon meeting/becoming infatuated with light, i think she plays it up even more because she's realized that he loves explaining basic shit to anyone that will listen... she is in fact a silly goober, but she definitely has a prominent side that is intelligent and calculating

the thing about buffy summers is that you are not watching the same show as the rest of us if you dont spend the entire time wanting her to be happy and okay. so when her and spike get to the point in the show and their relationship where you realize thats all he wants too, (unlike angel and riley, i would argue) of course we want them to end up together. why wouldn't we. we see how happy she could be with him and how much he cares about dawn and she deserves all of that in her life!!!
