I just like that at the start of season 4 Hopper doesn’t want anything to do with Dmitri’s dumb jokes and by the end he’s smiling and chuckling about it

nah cause an underrated dynamic in stranger things 4 is hopper and enzo. they were so toxic together but also so loyal it’s incredible. like enzo (a guard in a maximum security prison) took one look at this grumpy american and decided ‘yah he’s neat I’m going to risk my entire job n life getting to know him’. they have a secret code where they stage a fight, conspire, and it ends w a punch. they share deep dark secrets and then share the secrets w anyone listening at the drop of a hat. they beat each other bloody and talk shit and then laugh til it hurts. besties // worsties!!!!

Hagen Forster might be my favorite Tom's character and the entire Das Boot series is wonderful!! I mean, he is a SS, but he is a 10.🔥

The things I watched for Tom Wlaschiha (so far):

Jack Ryan

The first season is really good. I watched it within 2 days. Great storylines, great actors.

The second season is terrible. I lost track at some point. Too many storylines, too many different characters, too many diferent places.

Tom plays Max Schenkel in 4 episodes of the 2nd season. Unfortunately the character is poorly written. There’s no chance for Tom to develop the character, no background information. For example why he left the BND (Federal Intelligence Service in Germany) and became a killer. Or who is the mother of his daughter? Tom is just the bad german guy without heart and soul. Like so many german actors in US movies and tv shows. What a waste.

Crossing Lines

I was so bored, I gave up after 4 episodes. The stories are ridiculous, most of the characters of the main cast just annoy me. Tom is doing his best, but he cannot save the bad writing of his character. I’m only fascinated by Donald Sutherland. His presence on screen is just outstanding. He could play a tree and still shine.

Poirot -  The Labours of Hercules. Season 13, Episode 4

Was okay, but I’m not a fan of the Poirot series. I was pleased, Tom didn’t play the bad guy. But most of the time, he was somewhere in the background.

Wouldn’t watch it again, everything is so dark and yellow. My eyes!

Tatort - Borowski und die Kinder von Gaarden

Oh wow, they let Tom show that he’s a really good actor. Yeah, he’s kind of a bad police officer, but he has a background story. I liked that.

And he shared some screentime with Sibel Kekilli. She was “Shae” in Game of Thrones. 😍

Das Boot Season 1

GOOD!!!

I love that series so far. If you like Tom, if you like stories about the 2nd World War in Europe - Watch it! Tom is so good. He played a really bad german Naz*, but I have that feeling, he really enjoyd to play that evil character. And the writers gave him the chance to show that he can play such a character. Being evil on one hand and kind of loveable on the other. There’s a vulnerability in his play that totally fascinates me.

I was also hooked by the scenes on the submarine. Oppressive, terrifying. The cast and crew of the series, they all did a great job.
