❝ Well, a friend of mine recommended me to come here. ❞ She looked down and explained her difficult situation.

❝ And.... I was wondering if you could please consider giving me a job? ❞ She said, looking him in the eye again, uncertain of how Nighteye would react.

"You're early. Did you at least take off your shoes before entering?"

Mirai didn't even bother checking who just wandered into his bathroom. He kept his eyes closed, his nudity covered by the traditional bathtub he was currently sitting in at his apartment on the top floor of his agency.

Katsuki was, well, irritated. He hadn’t even gotten five feet up the aisle to his desk before he was blocked by Deku and …whoever the fuck this other girl was.

Apparently Deku had bumped into the girl before he got here, judging by the way the nerd was apologizing to her.  

Was she new?

Maybe he just didn’t bother remembering her because she didn’t leave an impression on him. Whatever.

Katsuki stood by for another second before his temper got the better of him. He glared at the pair before barking, “Oi! Move it!”

Immediately, Deku bristled before apologizing to him and scrambling to his own seat. Fuckin’ dumbass nerd.

Now his gaze was solely on his other classmate.

The aggravated blonde caught her undivided attention. A frown gracing her features. ❝Tch.❞ She exlaimed, as she moved out of his way. ❝Why are you yelling? I am right in front of you.❞ She questioned worried.

Bakugo's brash attitude had never gone unnoticed by Liana, but she tried her best to keep a distance from him. Yelling was never something she was too fond of.

“Are there always this many snobs at events like this?”

“I can’t wait to get home and get out of this.”

“If I guess your identity, you owe me a dance. Deal?”

“At least the food is worth the hassle of dressing up.”

“Are you here for business or pleasure?”

“Oh, I didn’t realize they handed out invitations to just anyone.”

“What a hideous mask.”

“Look, we match.”

“You looked like a server, my apologies.”

“I don’t know why I accepted the invitation.”

“These shoes pinch uncomfortably.”

“This whole affair is rather tacky, isn’t it?”

“Run away with me?”

“Help me escape them. They keep following me around.”
