<<BABES SUPPORT BABES SPOTLIGHT on Jillian Carroll @msjillianann is the Host of @gooddaykansas, the Lifestyle and Entertainment show on @ksnnews3 . She came to Wichita from Kansas City where she spent time covering Sporting Kansas City on #FOX Sports Midwest Live and the The Kansas City Chiefs on #NFL Network and CBS News. Jillian won her first #Emmy (!!! wow!!!) while on the KC Chiefs Broadcast Team. • •She was also a Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader from 2010 – 2015. She wasn't always in broadcasting, she worked hard to develop an on air following and to get where she is today! Prior to breaking into the world of broadcasting she was an elementary school teacher in Kansas City for many years. So, she is a great example and role model to kids everywhere that you can work hard and achieve your dreams! She misses working with kids on a daily basis, but you can see she really loves and excels at what she is doing. • •She's always been a sports fanatic. She achieved her childhood dream of playing NCAA division 1 #soccer while pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Northern Iowa. <<BABES SUPPORT BABES SPOTLIGHT on Dr. Sheree Utash>> • •Dr. Utash may have started her career scooping ice cream, but she has come a long way since working at a local ice cream parlor as a kid. Sheree is now a bit of local royalty at this point, and I am humbled and honored to know her. • •This is seriously impressive stuff… Sheree spent may years in various positions at Cowley College and has served as president of WATC since 2015, leading the charge to turn WSUTech in to what it is today. Alongside WSUTech, she also serves as Vice President of Workforce Development for Wichita State University. • •Sheree’s next step was a doozie. She was recently appointed to a #presidential committee, the American Workforce Policy Advisory Board serving the @whitehouse and @realdonaldtrump. She will be serving alongside other heavy hitters like leaders at #Apple and #Lockheed Martin. YOU MAKE WICHITA LOOK GOOD! During a brief conversation I had with Sheree, she mentioned she would be traveling to Washington next month and having dinner at Camp David! • •Sheree is no lightweight when it comes to #philanthropy. She serves on boards at Fidelity Bank, Workforce Alliance, #HERDI, #NC3, Goodwill Industries, Urban League of Kansas, United Way, Young Professionals, and Opportunity Zone.
