I have once again booted up Sims 4 and made a floorplan for Hajime’s house. It is located in a suburb in Edogawa.

Hajime has been living in this house since he was born. He still remembered a time when he could his family talking to each other over dinner, or when his mother would get him and Izuru to work in the garden. While the house was sparser than it was before, it was still home to Hajime and Izuru.

An overview of the first floor. The living room has an old and worn couch in front of a TV set. The kitchen was usually occupied by his father, who was the homemaker before the divorce. His father would still try to cook for Hajime and Izuru if he wasn’t tired after his shifts at the office, but Hajime had taken it upon himself to cook simple meals for them.

An overview of the Second Floor. It consisted of a bathroom and two bedrooms. Next to the stairway was a table with some of Hajime’s awards. While it wasn’t as many as Izuru’s collection, his father wanted to showcase some of Hajime’s achievements. 

Hajime’s awards display was the first thing people notice once they arrive on the second floor. After Hajime and Izuru started going to different schools, Hajime got some awards for sports, public speaking, and debating. His father wanted him to display them on the bookshelf on the first floor, but Hajime refused and wanted to keep them boxed up in his room.

This was the compromise they reached.

The master bedroom that his parents shared, now only his father slept in this room. His mother didn’t take much after the divorce, leaving with only personal items and Izuru. His father didn’t have the heart to toss anything else.

Hajime’s room is the quintessential teenage boy bedroom. He shared the room with Izuru whenever Izuru slept over, just like when they were younger. The Bisexual flag in his room was an apology gift from Sonia. She made a remark about Teruteru, to which Hajime reminded her not to associate all bisexuals with Teruteru and mentioned that he was bisexual as well. Sonia was horrified at her ignorance and gave Hajime the flag after school.

Hajime and his father did their best to remove the childish decor from the bedroom, and anything they couldn’t remove was covered up.

Hajime’s skateboard is one of his most prized possessions. Because of this, he keeps the boards even when they no longer usable and puts them on the wall as mementos. He also has pictures of his friends and of Izuru displayed on his wall. He also has pictures of when they were younger, but none of those pictures have his mother in them.

Guess who got stuck listening to Get Down on repeat for days? Yep, this guy…! It’s just inspired tho so things are bound to go differently like always

In sunny Jabberwock, where we lay our scene, King Hajime Hinata is perpetually pestered by his courtiers to seek a new queen. With his then-wife Enoshima now lying dead after giving birth to a son, it is imperative for him to find a new queen to take care of his subjects

Jokes on them because he’s really not in the mood for it after all the bullshit Enoshima put him through. Sure he managed to fix the issues she started while still alive, but is he really that eager to jump into another relationship right after her death? People may claim him callous but he isn’t that bad

Hence why he summoned the famous painter, Yonaga, to go out of the island and paint the most beautiful women she finds on her journey. Who knows, maybe he may or may not end up marrying her. Who knows! All he cares about is appeasing his courtiers into backing the fuck off and stalling some time. 

As it stands, Yonaga makes it back in record time, bearing with her countless portraits of potential maidens for Hinata to woo into being his queen. Which is fine- things are still going according to plan. All he has to do is look at all of them and say that none of them pique his interest and OH MY GOD WHO IS THAT?!

Love at first sight isn’t something Hinata believes in, but he’ll be lying if the woman on the portrait isn’t his type. Flaxen hair flows atop her crown as pale grey eyes entice onlookers to behold her and her beauty with a prim smile. She is beauty, she is grace, and she got the king smitten with just her gaze.

“Sonia of Novoselic,” one of the courtiers chime when they notices his stare. “Humble and kind, she’s a princess everyone admires in her kingdom. Princess Kotoko would like her.” 

Is it obvious that they’re definitely talking up this woman to their king? Perhaps, but so long as it gets the job done. Besides, having someone as prim and proper as her for a queen would be advantageous for their goals- um… kingdom! Yes. For the good of the kingdom. 

In any case, their ploy works and Hinata finds himself wanting to meet this Sonia for proper courting before their marriage. His courtiers immediately send for her to be taken in before he can change his mind on the matter.

Potential queen got. Next step: planning the royal wedding! Oh yeaaah, it’s all coming together.

Meanwhile, in the humble kingdom of Novoselic, its inner court is in disarray. Princess Sonia has fallen gravely ill, mere days before coming to Jabberwock for her marriage to King Hinata. Her decline is immediately hidden from the public, but not quick enough to stop any gossips from forming

Some speculate that it is related to the princess’ desire to not get married, that she has been seeing some farm boy in secret and was already planning to run away with him. Others claim that it is an attack from one of the royal family’s enemies, seeking to ruin their name by being unable to provide the bride they promised. 

As for the family, they only have one person to blame for this misfortune: their fostered dispossessed nephew, Nagito Komaeda.

The boy has always been close with his cousin, being that they were raised together after being orphaned by his parents. The royal couple took him in out of the goodness of their hearts, and as a favor to his deceased mother. They are family after all. It’s their duty to look after each other. Even if the boy is more trouble than he is worth. 

Day in and day out, he will always find himself roped up in all sorts of trouble. Honestly. If he isn’t one of them, they would have thrown him away ages ago. As it stands Sonia has taken a shining to him and look where it got her, bedridden and mere moments away from meeting her maker. 

Furious and unable to look their nephew in the face, lest they do something unforgivable, the royal couple sends him an ultimatum: either he finds a way to save Sonia’s life, or he takes her place as King Hinata’s bride and suffer the consequences of lying to him and faking his identity once he is found out. 

Practically disowned by his remaining family, with his only true confidant spending her final moments peacefully asleep, and the courtiers already here to take their promised bride away, Nagito has no choice but to don his cousin’s clothing and hope that he can at least give his caretakers enough time to flee their inevitable downfall with this trick. 

A stunt that will definitely be hard to do, let alone survive, given King Hinata’s long considering look the moment they meet each other for the first time. 

“You’re a whole lot paler in person, huh.” - Hinata, completely unimpressed at this sickly-looking lanky “lady” he is supposed to marry 

Sonia guide him, he’ll be joining you soon in the netherworld from sheer guilt and embarrassment.

The fandom seems enamored with skater boy Hajime (I do not blame them I love the concept) but could you imagine Hajime just being a master of board sports? Surf boarding, Skateboarding Wind boarding literally if there’s a flat plane to stand on Hajime could probably ride it. It’s either that or he’s total rubbish but loves it so he keeps trying anyways. A fun concept imo!
