Angela enjoyed the other's company. While she may be a bit motherly still to the other by accident, she welcomed the ability to have a conversation with someone as a friend, not as a mentor or some stand-in motherly figure. So, she relaxed, letting herself savor her drink and the other before her.
"Oh! Wow! If there is ever a person to style for, that is the goddess of all goddesses!" She exclaimed rather cheerfully. Angela was proud of her friend of landing such a prominent goddess as a client of her clothes. "But, I do. Siwoo and I will probably spend the day at home. Luckily, between just the two of us, the cooking isn't as overwhelming as if I did it for a large group." Angela still remember how bad her hand cramped after doing all those dumplings for Christmas, though she would do it again if needed.
Smiling, she nodded her head. "Thank you. Siwoo is the best part of my life. I will always feel so blessed to have him as my son." In many ways, Siwoo saved Angela. Cursed with such a dark and deadly past, Siwoo reminded Angela of her need to right her many wrongs through her kind acts to others. Angela did not just help people because was wanted to, but she felt that she was still standing to do so.
Angela quite agreed with Ondine's assessment of the brother and sister duo. "Well, I am sure Lupin can be another good friend to you. It is the beauty of this island. To reunite and to make new friends." She had ran into many figures from her past on the island, and it was always quite lovely.
Angela's attentiveness didn't go unnoticed. It was nice to have someone's full attention, to feel cared for. Ondine felt welcome and warm, watching her friend with a smile as they both sipped on their drinks. The silence around them was comfortable, without any trace of awkwardness.
The other person she felt so at ease with was her adorable brother Keonhee.
"Yes ! I'm currently working on a dress for Xiwangmu herself, I'm quite proud of it. Do you usually celebrate the Lunar New Year ? My mother and I did but it was simple." She smiled at Angela's eagerness. Siwoo and her would probably have so much fun to meet her marine friends. He's adorable ! "You two are lucky to have each other. Anyone would be happy to have Angela as a mother."
Mount Phoenix had brought luck to many of the residents. Ondine a discovered a place where she truly could be herself and it had brought her a brother, a part of her that she had always missed. And now she felt complete.
"Yes, him ! Sakura modelled for me a few times, such a lovely young woman. They're both really nice." The daughter of Ryujin smiled. She had never seen things that way but she could only agree with her friend. "I guess you're right, it's probably why so many of us find the way to the island."

Siwoo gave Angela enough time to bring a some drinks to the table, a healthy mix of ice cold water and soda depending on the other's preference. Angela still did not know much about Juyeon, so she was doing her best to cater to average tastes. Hopefully, there would be something in her effort that he would enjoy.
Grinning at Juyeon, Siwoo nodded his head with a large beaming grin. His hand shot out to gently grab onto Juyeon's, and he lead his uncle to the decked out kitchen table where Angela was waiting beside. Angela looked over at the demigod. "Hello, Juyeon. I'm glad you were able to join us tonight." She spoke kindly. There was some guilt for not having been super vocal with her brother lately, but she had a lot on her plate. She'd hope he would understand.
"Sit wherever you are comfortable. Plenty of yummy food for us all."
With In-Soo spending some time with his varied relatives occasionally, Juyeon had easily agreed to Angela's invitation to having dinner with her and Siwoo. It's still a strange thing in some ways, having an actual family member verses what he'd gone through before he'd come to mount phoenix. It's... nice though he hasn't spent a lot of time with the other child of Loki.
And while he was aware that Hel was technically also a half-sister, it'd a little easier to picture having another demigod as a sibling verses a full blown goddess.
So... it's nice.
Not to mention the nephew that came with that. He chuckled a little at the child's hug attack, shifting down to make it easier for them both as he listened to the rapid words. "Yeah, thank you. Let's go!" He agreed, following the child once the hug was finished.

Angela was pleased that Cedric thought it would work. She did not necessarily mind getting wet, but she did not think it was best for her to remain outside nor him either. So, she followed his steps toward the alcove. Hopefully, the storm would not last long, and they would not have to deal with whatever might could happen in such a storm. So, she said little as she let him guide her, and carefully, she entered the small alcove, trying to make sure he had space.
As the both attempted to make the tight space worked, she paused watching him. "Yeah. Too bad neither of us can do magic." She mused. Angela knew very well she could transform into a small creature, but she'd be without any means to communicate with him and there was no way she'd be able to transform without some rather awkward conversations afterward.
At Cedric's suggestion, she nearly questioned whether she should just transform, a bright red hue pulling to her cheeks. "Uh." She thought for a second. I was not the first time this happened, but last time, she had enough liquor to help make it not as awkward. Her one glass of wine sure was not enough.
"Yeah. We can do that. Sorry, Cedric." She apologized. Angela's arms lingered on his shoulders a second as she moved into position. She carefully moved so that she was lightly seated upon his lap, sliding slightly so that her back was up against his chest. "Hopefully, the storm does not last too long." She mutters softly. "I know you are not comfortable."
Wooded Release
Fastening his pace, Cedric felt the basket wobbling too intensely, threatening to drop some of the lovely food Angela had prepared. But before such tragedy would happen, the demigoddess brought attention to her finding and making Cedric and Bella stop their step as well. He took a couple of seconds to examine their options again, thankfully the alcove had more of a charming feeling to it rather than creepy. "Good catch! Seems like our best option!"
The alcove was imbued in a natural hillock that infused itself with the rest of the forest and ut was obvious such spot in the natural landscape had been mostly man-made. They were in a rush, but considering his conclusion, Cedric approached the shelter cautiously, making sure there was no one inside, before turning to Angela and gently pulling their held hands to guide her to enter first. The entrance had a nearly perfect arch, wide enough for someone to lightly squat to enter and the walls did not leak and were mostly clean of moss, with one of the walls being carved into so one could sit.
The only problem was, from the outside it looked larger and it was perfect for one person, not for two and a large dog. "Ahm, hold on. We can make this work." Before anything else, Cedric removed his jacket which would be used as a shield from the rain if the wind would bring it towards the alcove. He took another second to see how exactly would they make it work and finally Cedric sat down leaning against the back wall as much as possible, with Bella laying on the right although her front paws were sticking out from the alcove slightly. "We don't have much space so... uh I think best option would be if you'd sit...uh, well on me. I mean, on my lap. I mean, just so you can be comfortable."
Considering how further his affection for Angela had grown, asking the other to sit on his lap and being so physically close brought some shyness to Cedric. The idea of having her so close was interesting, but he had her comfort above anything else. The basket although, was resting by the alcove's entrance on the outer side, thankfully being mostly protected by the small bush that trailed the hillock's feet.

Angela knew that the path forward was one that would be rather interesting, full of new challenges but hopefully more joys. While she always knew this day would come some time, she was still rather surprised for it to have been today. However, she just needed time to adjust. Morpheus was a shock, but ultimately, Angela would grow to find it to be more of a blessing.
Siwoo nodded his head. "Yeah! Hmm. Does that make him brother Leto instead of Mr. Leto? Or Mr. brother?" He rambled on to his father in thought. Angela had taught much on the concept of respect to him. Regardless of this how he was to move forward, the young child could not wait to see his, now, big brother again. He had spent a lot of time deciding on the ring for the older man, and it seemed to fit just perfectly now. Angela caught it just like her son. 'Ohana" means family, and it had been why he had chose that specific ring. Family never meant just blood for Angela and Siwoo. It was just the one time it did find that way for Siwoo.
Angela walked along beside him with the puppy, letting it walk a bit ahead of them. Morpheus did well with Siwoo from what she could tell, and it was relieving. Siwoo, the always good boy, listened to his dad with the same level of interest as he had too. "Wow! Dragons! Butterflies!" He gasped, only reciting those because he had absolutely no clue what those other things were. "Mom can transform into animals! I think she would get along with your brothers!" He spoke happily, quite unaware of the face Angela made. She had never been happy about her powers being put out in the open. But, she did not open her mouth, letting the child continue to speak. "Dad, it has to be tiring to have so many brothers! That is so many presents at Christmas time!"
What was both a blessing and a curse with being the king of dreams, meant that Morpheus was also responsible for the collective consciousness of the universe; this, in turn, enabled him the ability to understand what others thought and felt when they were personally unable to articulate such things. All of her questions, he would be more than willing to answer for her--but perhaps later. The most important thing he needed her to understand, though, was that he was not there to take Siwoo away. To Siwoo, Angela was his mother, and Morpheus knew this woman to love his son as though he was her own. No, Morpheus was not there to break apart this happy family. He could only hope to add to it. And to grant his youngest son some guidance.
"Well, I would imagine the two of you have much to discuss," he cooed toward Siwoo upon learning he had been wanting to see Leto again--and to give him something. Indeed, it would be a lovely reunion and he imagined his youngest son could learn many things from his eldest, and not just about how to use his powers, but about life in general. Leto was a very well-traveled and intelligent fellow who was also very good with children, so he was certain the young man could speak with Siwoo in a way that the boy could understand...and have fun doing so.
For now, however, he was deeply attentive when it came to listening to Siwoo talk about his other brothers. He gestured with his head toward the path, wordlessly inviting Angela (and the dog) for a walk while he continued to carry his son on his hip. Morpheus nodded along with Siwoo's story, occasionally adding a soft "ooohhhh" or "fascinating" or "how exciting!" when appropriate.
But when asked if his brothers had dragons, Morpheus couldn't help but chuckle warmly in his low baritone. "Mmmmhmmhmm, yes, some of them do. Some can even turn into dragons themselves! My brother Phobetor especially is very good at transforming into other creatures. Dragons, griffons, manticores, butterflies...and I have another brother, Phantasos, who is extremely skilled at turning into things like rocks and trees and mountains and sunsets and stars~..."

Angela watched the man with interest. While it took little for Siwoo to like someone, Felix seemed right up his alley. As the man took the basket, parading as if it had been so heavy, Siwoo immediately stood up a bit straighter, crossing his arms as he beamed widely. "I know! I can carry two baskets if I had to!" Siwoo exclaimed excitedly, though that was likely not the truth. The child was merely a rather athletic kid with a bigger imagination than he could handle.
Stopping a snort, Angela looked from her son to Felix. She smiled as the man pulled out the scarf. A fond, proud smile pulled to her lips at his compliments to the scarf she had knit for him. A true sign of her love, even for a stranger, in the warm garment. "It looks lovely on you." Angela compliments without hesitation. "I am glad you enjoy everything." Compared to her rather energetic son, Angela was much more quiet and a tad withdrawn, no matter how much warmth her presence brought.
"Oh gosh! Mister, can we?" Siwoo exclaimed at the offer. Taking a few quick steps forward, his hand moved to gently grasped onto one of their wrists. "I am the best gamer ever. Mommy got me a switch for Christmas, and I win on Mr. Mario's races all the time!" He speaks happily, chattering on to the other. Siwoo had always been a fan of anything bright and colorful. It was something shown much in his art. Angela merely nodded with a smile. "Lead the way, if you have time."
Sure, he looked rather silly and young and perhaps not someone that others would expect to be a responsible adult owning a popular business--but at the same time, he very much did fit the description of an eccentric business owner. Perhaps he leaned more toward the Wonka-esque sort of eccentricity when it came to managers, but he was harmless, really. (There would be no drowning of children in chocolate rivers here! Though honestly, was that really so horrible a fate? Let's be real here.)
Oh, but what was this? The young gentleman was giving him the basket the woman had? "Oh!" he said as the boy approached with a 'here', then Felix proceeded to act as though the basket was actually pretty heavy, straining a bit and making groaning vocalizations as he moved to set the gift on the counter. "Ooooooo boy, whew," he breathed with a sigh of relief. "Wow, you're strong. You just lifted that up just like that?" Clearly, Felix spoke fluent kid.
A jovial laugh bubbled from his lips when the woman explained herself. "Thanks. It's a pleasure to meet you both. And this is very, very nice. Thank you soooooo much!" he said with a grin. "Wow! This looks great! Especially this!" he proclaimed as he pulled the scarf from the basket of goodies, wrapping it around his neck expertly. "At last. I have acquired the scarf of friendship. My ensemble is nearly complete," he announced with a pose of his fists upon his hips, puffing out his chest. "Anyway!" he said, breaking character and returning to his more casual self. "Since you guys are here, how about I show you around? And if you see something you wanna play, just lemme know. Least I could do for such an amazing welcome!"

Angela's thoughts were noisy, lots of different questions popped in her head. However, she silenced them the best she could. Time would answer everything. For now, she could only keep her gaze on the pair. Her eyes lingered on her son's visage. He clearly was happy, excited to be held by his father. Siwoo's joy was all that matter to the demigoddess. So as they approached a new normal, Angela welcomed what that was, even with her concerns.
Siwoo let the adults talk. As long as he had the god's affection, he could be patient. Even though young, he could sense some seriousness to the discussion, and Angela had raised him to be the most respectful boy ever. Angela found Morpheus's reasoning easy to follow, and she was appreciative of his willingness to indulge her. Even further, she agreed with everything, from his words about Leto to the about the brothers. Gods were a delicate breed to deal with, and she had done so with many as the owner of The Flower Mill. Morpheus seemed palatable.
"That could make sense." She reasoned, though she did not know anything about the powers of her son. Well, other than what she had seen in their encounter with Leto. "How funny. Siwoo's been waiting to see Leto too. He bought him a present while we were on a trip. What a nice reunion that will be." From friends to brothers, Angela was glad that her son had such a good influence by his side.
When her son talked, she let him have the conversation with his father. "Yeah! They all treat me the best. You have to meet them. There are so many nice people here." He spoke excitedly to the god. When the god looked over to Angela, she gave a small shake of her head. Nothing like that in any means. As a demigoddess who spent a lot of time helping demigods deemed bad, those demigods always took Siwoo as family, and he did as well. By now, many of the inhabitants saw to protecting the child as an extension of her love and his enthusiasm that the pair poured into them.
Angela set the dog down just moments before Siwoo rambled an explanation to his father on how he met 'Mr. Leto' and the dragon friend he met. The child was animated in everything he did. Small hands making waves as he spoke. Finally, a question peaked his interest. "Do you brothers have dragons too?"
While there were several details he desperately wanted to discuss with this young woman, the most prevalent was what was now perhaps the most evident: Morpheus was here now for his son, and he would be there for little Siwoo, just as he had been there for Leto, to teach him how to use his abilities when they finally managed to surface.
He had no intentions of taking the boy away from the only mother he had ever known and he hoped to convince her of this...eventually. However, currently there was a certain tenacity to how he held his son--gentle, yes, but with a quiet closeness and reflection, a blend of both joy and sorrow within his starry eyes; once their hands parted, his fingers returned to Siwoo's back. "Angela," he echoed as she insisted he address her as thus, her name spoken with an air reminiscent of something familiar, something between dream and waking, that haunting voice that touched ear just before one fell asleep.
"Mmm," he hummed softly to her repeat of his elder son's name. When she went on to praise the psychiatrist, he nodded once, a fond smile illuminating his features. "He is a very kind person," he confessed to her own admission to just how generous Leto had been to the pair. Morpheus could not take credit for that, nor could Madeleine Leroux; no, Leto's compassion was purely his own; it was just the sort of person he was. Catching Angela's murmur, however, his brow arched a little, head tilting slightly to the side.
"Perhaps they both subconsciously knew...somehow," he offered gently; and on some level there may have been a hint of an allusion that his suggestion was more than just wordplay; because he was, after all, the king of dreams and dealing with the subconscious was very much within his wheelhouse.
So Siwoo had lots of brothers? Morpheus widened his eyes with enthusiasm, a quiet gasp of shock. "Me, too! What a coincidence!" he chimed softly, a light but deep chuckle resonating within his chest as he finally and carefully set the boy down once more. "I look forward to hearing all about yours," he said, a curious glance given to Angela. She had other children? But it appeared the first brother he would tell Morpheus all about was the demigod related by blood, and the god nodded along, clearly attentive...though occasionally stealing a glance toward the woman his son called his mother.

The Flower Mill's flourishing business came from what she believed from the staff's willingness to strive for that personal touch and openly friendliness. What may have years ago been an cafe of just beautiful people serving good drinks, the cafe now became a staple in many people's daily routine. It was evident by how fast people arrived to the store.
Angela's attention went fully on the demigod before her. She recognized him. He had been to the cafe several times. A few she personally served, but typically, she would notice him as she focused on other business affairs. But familiarity meant little to Angela when it came to her kindness. That natural warmth moved her look of confusion to a small smile with a pleased look. In those seconds, she realized how bad she missed being at the cafe.
"Thank you!" The demigoddess spoke, quite pleased. "I had never expected what happened to happen, though I guess that should be a consideration with as many powerful demigods are there." Angela was just pleased that no one was hurt. Siwoo had not been in the area either, and so, there was little desire of the demigoddess to find that individual. If found, she only hoped they got they help they needed. But, she was not foolish either. What came with those roses also came with a hidden camera system.
Smiling, the demigoddess tried to skirt lingering on the issue that happened weeks ago. "Well, after looking at the remodeling for the bathroom, it seemed best to just do the whole cafe since I had to close anyway. Flower Mill needed a bit of an update. So, more modern with even more flowers. All real. It's astounding what a bit of magic can do."
The times he walked into The Flower Mill may not been enough to make him the coffee shop’s regular, Erik admitted that. But he remembered the interior, the coffee taste, and the way charming staff greeted him as if they were long-time friends.
When the place had to temporarily close for some maintenance, it did not affect his life much, only the route to hunt for his morning coffee became a tad longer, and the coffee did not feel as much…wholesome. Being busy with his job at the PAC, Erik was left unaware of the cafe’s re-opening announcement, until he overheard two coworkers talk about it on their way out of the theatre. Suddenly, there was a gentle excitement rose in his chest, almost feeling like the feeling when one heard about a dear friend coming home from a week-long trip.
So he drove to the Flower Mill the next morning, to be greeted by a completely different interior layout. Shades of pink now dominated the space, including the big pretty bouquets adorning the walls and the new set of art-deco chairs and table. Compared to the surroundings, Erik inevitably became the odd one out with his all-black street-style outfit. But while he did not prefer pink, he found the new colour theme complemented the loving, welcoming vibe of the cafe perfectly. There must be so much time, effort, and money invested into this grand renovation, Erik concluded, as he took in the new interior design with admiration.
His eyes soon landed on Angela, the cafe’s owner. He met her in probably all of his previous brief visits, and despite not having a proper conversation with each other just yet, Erik believed they had exchanged enough soft smiles and decent ‘good mornings’ to be each other’s friendly acquaintance.
“Good morning,” he greeted the pretty lady, his voice was, like always, soft like a breath of spring and warm like a hug, a stark difference from the way he dressed. He waited until Angela noticed his existence and reciprocated the greeting, her smile and politeness remained unchanged.
“That’s absolutely fine! I can see why you took your time to reopen,” Erik’s smile grew wider as he said. The demigod swiftly looked around the place one more time, a compliment had already been on his lips when his dark grey eyes landed on her again.
“I really like this new look on your cafe! Soft and elegant, like the way its name sounds to me. What inspired you for this makeover, if you don’t mind me asking?”

Angela comfortably sat in her seat as she sipped on her drink. Cupping the drink as she casually crossed her legs, the demigoddess listened intently to the woman. Angela provided her full attention, eyes completely yet warmly fixed on the demigoddess. It was a natural habit of the demigoddess, a chance to give someone to fully feel seen. That was even more the case for someone she saw as her friend.
"For the new year? I have been so busy that I nearly forgot it was coming up! What a blessing. I am sure your pieces are going to be absolutely hits!" A simple head nod followed with the slightest smile. She knew that the demigoddess would show her the pictures of her pieces once they finally complete, and if she forgot, the demigoddess would ask once the time was right. "Of course! Siwoo would love that. He is quite the adventurous kiddo."
Angela was just as glad that her son and her were doing as well that they were. The demigoddess felt immensely blessed, almost surprised at how well everything was going. Hopefully, that would not change... For once, she was hopeful.
Raising her brow, she thought for a moment. "Lupin? The name does sound familiar. Oh! Sakura's brother. She worked for me for a bit before she left the island. I think I met him once. He seemed kind." Though, Angela did have quite a favorable view on most demigods. "Our blood seems to naturally attract us to each other. I am glad you are reunited with such a friend. I am sure you two will have much fun together."
Angela was wonderful. Gentle, sweet and helpful. She deserved all the praise and love she was receiving from many residents. The Flower Mill was a perfect image of her person, welcoming and warm, soft and beautiful. The whole staff was adorable too, helpful and kind. Both Angela and the coffee shop deserved their success.
And their coffees and teas were always delicious.
"I had several custom orders from the Chinese pantheon. It's a lot of work but everything is turning out so well." Xiwangmu's dress especially, one of her best pieces ever. Ondine chuckled at the remark. Angela was a mother and it was quite noticeable in the way she took care of people. "I could say the same to you, my friend ! Once the weather allows it, Siwoo and you should come to swim with me."
The daughter of Ryujin smiled, she truly adored the little boy too. "Doesn't it ? I'm glad that the both of you are alright." She took a few sips of her own drink, considering her friend's question.
"I reconnected with an old friend !" Ondine explained, grinning. "Lupin, do you happen to know him ? It was quite a surprise to find him here."

The more she watched the god before her, the more everything seemed to make sense. Though Siwoo still had a lot of work in fining his drawing skills, there were certain characteristics that mirrored the man before her. Between some of what Siwoo said and the child's rather obvious happiness, Angela at least knew her son did not have some odd imaginary friend as she had thought. However, the new understanding of his power base seemed a bit intimidating. At least, clearly, the god was now here to help the child.
Morpheus's demeanor did reassure the demigoddess, even further with the calm that swept her from his touch. Of all the Greeks, this god was a favorable option, and she reasoned, since he had already made contact, that if he really had wanted to take her son from her that he would have done so already. While it helped wash away most of her unease, there was a part of her that could not help but to be a little concerned that it might change once he knew her better.
Siwoo lingered happily in the man's arms, looking between his mother and father. The demigoddess was quick to correct the god, politely. "Please, just call me Angela." She softly requests with a slight smile. While she knew he was being respectful, Angela was not fond of such a formality. It sounded too rigid to her ears. "Leto." She repeats, remembering that her original thoughts were right. "Your son has been far too kind to us. How funny fate is." She compliments the creative demigod, though the end followed in a slight mumble. There were so many thoughts going on in her head.
Angela offered him a nod and smile at his thanks, accepting it. Though, she did not have much time to respond. When Siwoo connected the dots, his grin seemed to flourish once again. The child had easily taken a liken to the demigod immediately, and to find out that he was now his big brother, it was absolutely exciting. "I have lots of brothers!" He exclaimed with a grin. As Angela took demigods under wing, they always fell for the child. By now, the little Siwoo had his own little protection squad. But there was something special about 'Mr. Leto' being his brother which Siwoo did not hesitate to explain to his father in an excited ramble about dragons, Disney trademarked rings, and how happy to have 'Mr. Leto' as family.
Sometimes, words failed to convey what the heart felt; and that was all right; that was one of the purposes of dreams, to give such emotions an outlet; so Morpheus understood...he understood without the woman needing to say anything. A small smile and nod of approval followed the boy's apology to his mother. He knew how terrifying it was to have one's child run off to a stranger--despite the child being familiar with the figure, it was still a stranger to the parent and that terror lingered, that fear lingered, and Morpheus (much like his brother) understood those fears fueled nightmares.
But perhaps the smile could also be offered as a reassurance to the woman. He meant no harm, truly he didn't, and he would remain right there for her approach; he would not run off with the boy...but it was also a silent reassurance that, no, he wasn't taking him from her. His birth mother may have become twisted, morphing into a horrible person, but this woman? She meant well. She became a mother when she by no means had to become one. She could have just as easily given the boy to authorities and let it be, but no, she took up that mantle and had his respect.
And they had...much to discuss; very much to discuss--but not here, not now, not in front of little Siwoo who was still too young to truly grasp the magnitude to the subject they had yet to breach; no, that conversation could be tabled for another time.
For now, this was the first time he had held his son. Physically held his son. Oh, he had many times in the Dreaming Realm, but this was a different experience, to feel the boy in his arms for the first time; it was phenomenal--but he had to be careful not to squeeze too hard, oh no; precious cargo. He still held him close, though, on his hip and easily supported with one arm while the woman took his hand. His own grasp was gentle but firm, warm, and yes, that power perhaps left a subtle tingle beneath her skin and a serenity within her soul--perhaps even the world itself seemed brighter, colors more saturated, the air a bit cleaner and sweeter, a sense of home with only a touch.
"Ms. Wing," he softly echoed back to her once she had spoken his name, releasing her hand in favor of folding that arm around his son, resting his palm to the boy's back. "Leto has told me much about you and Siwoo. I am honored to finally meet you in person." Odd, perhaps, for a god to admit he was honored to meet anyone--but then, this woman had raised his child. Even with her humble protests, he shook his head slowly in dismissal.
"Thank you," he said again, still gentle, but a bit firmer, insistent that she accept his gratitude, that she understand the magnitude of what she had done. "We have much to discuss...later," he added quietly, because for now...his attention shifted back to his youngest son. "You have a puppy now, but did you know you also have a big brother?"

Angela sat the drink down before she scooted down into the seat. She had been rather pleased to be able to settle down after a long day of running around. Angela did quite love her work. Everyone on the island seemed to get a taste of love from the work her staff and she did. While she may not have had a chance to help all the demigods on the island who needed it, this offered her a chance to make a difference in someone's life. So despite being tired, she would not dare complain.
"I'm glad! I am sure you have been so busy. You have to really make sure you are giving your body rest. Need to care for yourself so that you may continue to achieve your success. " The hypocritical demigoddess speaks freely, though she realize how "lecturey" that might have sounded. So, she offered her a quick and small smile. "It's been busy here. Siwoo just went down for a nap. I must say. So much going on, it makes time flies."
Finally, the demigoddess grabbed her drink, taking a small sip from it. Her eyes wandered around the store for a moment before returning to her. "Anything new?"
As a regular of the Flower Mill, Ondine had finally met its owner, Angela and the two women had hit off immediately. They were close in age and Angela's sweetness had easily won the designer's heart. She adored Siwoo too and was already planning to get him a cute outfit for his birthday.
Ondine received her drink with a grateful smile, immediately wrapping he hands around the mug. She had been swimming and the warmth was comforting after the sting of the icy water. She waited for Angela to settle before answering.
"I have been well, thank you ! Lots of work so a relaxing break is nice. What about you ?"

Angela watched the scene unfold. There were an array of emotions that the demigoddess needed to process. Confusion showed first before each word and behavior finally informed her that Siwoo's father was whatever god was before her, and that maybe those little dreams he told her about were not just his expansive imagination at work. Joy for her beloved son to meet his father, something many demigods never got to do or only when it was far too late. Even more, she could tell the god had affection for him. That, a rarity. But lastly fear, Angela worried about this day, afraid that Siwoo would be ultimately taken from her by someone who was a parent by blood.
Siwoo seemed to naturally take the man's affection. Though, the affectionate little guy was never shy when it came to hugs and other types of touches. It was, though, the excitement and recognition in Siwoo's face that meant something to Angela. The child nodded his head, looking over to his mother. There was no hesitation in giving her a 'Sorry, momma!" That was enough to break her guarded visage, loosening up with the touch of a smile on her face.
Once the god spoke, she turned her eyes to him. He was in all essences a god. When he stretched out his hand, she set the little puppy down who seemed nearly as curious as her. Angela gave him a simple head nod before she reached to shake his hand, lingering upon his grasp for just a few moments. That was who he was? "Morpheus?" She asked genuinely, tilting her head. It made so much sense. Though, was that not Leto's father? If so, she knew that Siwoo had gained more than one family member. Oh, he would be happy.
"I have only done what a mother should do. There is nothing you need to thank me for." None at all. Siwoo saved her, more than she did him. So, no matter the stress that came from raising him, Angela would do it without hesitation.
Seeing the boy running toward him, his smile brightened even more, the starry eyes twinkling beautifully in the day as he watched the child run right up to him...and latch onto one of his long, slender legs while calling out that one...sweet...word. One that Leto had called him time and time again...and still did. "Siwoo~...agori mou~," he purred with gentle affection, his voice a tender and comforting baritone. But he was not without sympathy for the poor mother who no doubt worried for her son's safety as he ran after who she no doubt considered a complete stranger, proclamations of parentage aside.
Morpheus turned the starred gaze toward the woman, offering her a look of kind apology. "She is correct, Siwoo. Happy as I am to see you--" he continued softly as he reached down to lift the boy and hold him on his hip, an arm sliding beneath the child's rear to serve as a seat as he cradled him at his side, "--this it is unkind to run away from your mother like that. Especially if she doesn't know to whom you are running. Okay?" He returned his attention to the young woman and her puppy.
"Angela, is it?" he asked. There was a certain weight, a certain knowing behind his tone--soft as it was, haunting as it was, it carried with it a sense of secrecy, of appreciation. His free arm reached forward to offer her his hand. "I am Morpheus. It is an honor to meet you...and thank you..." Thank her? For what?
Ohhhh, she should know precisely why he was thanking her.

Siwoo had been begging his mother to go for a walk in the park. He had been in all morning, painting on a little canvas in her office as their puppy napped beside him. She was sure, by now, that he needed a bit of fresh air. With such a new puppy too, the little thing probably needed to go out, and so, the trio took a nice, gingerly strolled throughout the park. Her son had been busy pointing out different dogs that he had spotted as well. However, without a second warning, the child exclaimed excitedly before he took off once again toward some tall man.
By now, she almost ran on instinct, but the child always seemed to bit a bit faster than her. Plus, the little puppy did not help either, having to scoop him up in her arms. So, when she got close, the demigoddess loudly gasped as Siwoo hugged the man's legs with such a tightness that she worried the other might be hurt. Yet, it was the loud, resounding dad that came out his mouth that left the demigoddess reeling.
In those final steps, she looked to her son and to the god. "Siwoo... This is not polite."
Closed starter for a very special mother and son @mpxangela
As Spring fast approached, it could be considered quite the lovely day to take a walk, to familiarize himself with the island through something beyond the memories and dreams of its residents; no, still so new to Mount Phoenix, Morpheus opted to experience this exploration personally. And that was what he did, wandering the streets of the city in his messy bun and long black coat. He may have been noticed, he may not have been; it mattered not to him.
What did matter to him was once he arrived in Central Park; a lovely place, full of daydreams and imagination; he could thrive here, of course. But one thing in particular caught his attention--a mother and son walking a puppy along a path and, gradually, a warm smile spread to his lips. He remained still for a moment, just waiting...waiting...until he managed to snag the boy's attention and the god's smile grew just slightly more, his hand waving to give him a friendly wave.

The Flower Mill
Unwillingly, the demigoddess got a partial, but free, form of demolition in her cafe. While she could have just focused on just repairing the bathroom, she decided to go all out now that she had to capital to invest in her shop. It was an extensive process. The demigoddess spent late nights purchasing furniture as her son slept on their vacation. She hired resident of the island to use their powers to grow the beautiful flowers along her wall, finding a way to keep them living and creating that floral scent she wanted in the cafe. And one finally home, she spent long hours decorating and preparing for their fresh start all while she allowed her staff members to relax at home at pay. Angela could not be happier with the outcome. However, now, beneath the flowers, a security system hide from sight, watching different locations in the cafe. Angela was willing to be patient and did not want to press charges. However, she would not let another person put her staff in danger without recourse.

The Re-Opening
Open Starter; Multiple responses welcomed!
Angela's last few weeks had been rather crazy. From what began as a chaotic disaster, the demigoddess managed to turn it into something positive, a chance to renovate a bustling cafe that she had been wanting to put more love in. In that time, she spent a week in Disney, caught Siwoo up on some rest, and finally managed to get The Flower Mill into a beautiful, lovely cafe. With the necessary changes done, it was time for her to open the doors.
Not long after posting the re-opening of the cafe, several regulars were already coming in the door. It was a lovely sight, one that let the demigoddess know she was doing an excellent job with her cafe. By now, she reasoned that it wasn't just the drinks bringing people in. There was something much more that made the city flock to her shop, and she could only place it on her lovely staff.
Lost in thought, the sudden voice called her to their attention. "Oh!" She gasped, but the demigoddess gave a small smile. "Welcome back. I am so sorry you have had to wait so long."

Angela listened to him, raising her brows at his introduction. She had not quite heard yet that they had a new chief of police, but well, her hands had been rather tied with a certain incident. With a small smile, she nodded her head as he clarified her identity. Angela had no concern with the other before. Angela could tell a god when she saw one by now. Between a powerful aura combined with a refined aura, his deity status had been determined, but he was the one who connected her to the name.
"Sir, no need to apologize. I am surprised that you have stopped by though. I have not called for an investigation." Though, she did understand why he might feel compelled to search. However, she was rather certain a demigod, or well demigoddess based on the exploded room, had a hand in this. "But, yes. Odd circumstances. Welcome to the island. The both of you." She said as a warm smile pulled toward the handsome canine. She could only how amazed Siwoo would be seeing him.
Moving to the side, the demigoddess held the door open to him. "Please, come in. But... Be careful. The place is still quite the mess, not matter my efforts."
When the woman answered the door, he recognized her immediately from her file and gave her a small but polite smile. "Ms. Wing?" he began with a courteous acknowledgment of her identity. His aura, at the very least, radiated powerful strength and safety like an eye in a storm--the sort of presence that was not at all threatening...as long as one remained on their best behavior, that is. As he continued to speak, the massive black hound at his side sniffed the air near her but did not get any closer, staying by his master's side.
"Apologies for the interruption, as I am sure you are busy," he said. "My name is Erlang Shen and I am the new chief of police. This fine fellow next to me is my partner, Quan."
In response, the large canine chuffed a greeting with a slight wag of his tail. Not in the least bit intimidating; just a big puppy, really. A really...really big puppy. At least for now, at least in these moments when there was no need for him to be anything otherwise.
"While it is lovely to meet you, one can only wish that it had been under better circumstances," he continued. "May we enter? I would very much like to discuss with you the details of this unfortunate circumstance."
