Shit.

How the hell did he end up here? His bad habit of drinking have a good grip of him once again and he stumbled into this bar without even thinking about it. The moment he realised that there was a theme party ongoing, he was truly considering changing the location - maybe to a nightclub - but decided against it in the end. He was pissed because of a certain woman to no ones surprise and just wanted some peace time alone. So sitting at the bar obviously not being one of the theme party guests he hoped would grant him some alone time.

Though after the umpteenth comment about his appearance or better said his missing costume, he was far from getting a breathing-space. He ignored all those remarks before and there wasn't really a reason why the stranger next to him got an answer of him now. He placed the beer on the counter and turned his head to his side. "Yeah?" His tone of voice was indifferent and evenly. "You've been on a pirate ship before? 'Cuz I doubt that the modern pirates give a shit about an eyepatch or a fancy talking parrot on their shoulder..." With that his attention wen back to his beer bottle in his hand.

"Yeah, is that so?" he said with a snarl. The easiest way to irritate Yohan was anything that could relate to his past. So even the slightest hint of an irrelevant comment from a stranger at the pits, let him fall back into old patterns. With an unreadable look on his face and a cold tone of voice he crossed his arms over his chest and planted himself in front of the stranger - and possible threat - so that there was no way to avoid this situation.

"Amuse me..." He stepped forward in his still threatening manner. "What would that so called reputation be?" His voice made clear that he wouldn't let this issue slip and he couldn't care less how this situation would end. The stranger toughed him in a sore spot - wittingly or unwittingly didn't matter right now.

"Sure, sure." An amused smile played on his lips as he put the weights back in their place and looked at the petite woman on the training tool. "You just looked a bit…" he thought for a moment to find the right words. "struggeling." To be honest, she looked like she was going to be crushed by the weight at any moment and he couldn't bear to see that.

"First time you train with weights?" He couldn't resist asking her this question. She just didn't look like she did that often. Her snappy answer was also quite amusing. It reminded him of someone special...

There it was again. A casual remark that feels like a kick in the gut. He takes a deep breath to calm himself before turning to Minry and slowly walking towards her. He had long since lost count of how many times they had met by chance in the hallway since the first surprise encounter a few weeks ago. It didn't help that they practically lived next to each other.

He put on his best smile as, like he had done so many times before, he used his thumb and forefinger to push her chin up a little so that he was looking at her in anticipation of the kiss that would always follow. His other hand caresses her cheek tenderly until his thumbs trace her lips. "Is that so?" he asked dreamily, his eyes following the movement of his thumb on her lips.

However, when he leaned down, his lips moved to the shell of her ear instead of hers and with a mocking tone he whispered in her ear. "Nah~ I think that would cost me too much." With that he took a step back and turned on his heel, leaving her standing there.

Hallow's Eve Ball 2023

It is Yohan first social event after coming to Mount Phoenix and he is a little nervous about it, so hiding behind black leather and fur didn't sound too bad. Besides he can indentify himself with the Big Bad Wolf quite well.

It was only a matter of time before the first one would join him after he sat down at the bar. He knew this type of establishment all too well from his past. No matter how much he may change, he is always drawn back to what he is familiar with. Even if he wasn't exactly interested in the company that was being offered to him.

"True that!" His deep voice sounded more like a whisper as he continued. "Unfortunately for you, not yours." For the first time since the other had joined him, Yohan turned in his bar stool to look at him with a conciliatory smile on his lips. "I'm waiting for your boss. Malea said she shan't be long." He hesitates for a moment before continuing. "So… you see. I wouldn't have the time for that either."

It was his third appointment at the studio to blacken his gang tattoos on his back and even though he isn't particularly squeamish about pain, the skin needs a break every now and then when the tattoo needle works on the same area over and over again. Aside from that, it's also nice to be able to stretch your limbs after sitting in the same position for an hour. He was really happy that he could take the break in the back yard because he didn't feel like getting some air without a shirt in front of the store. It didn't take long for the tattoo artist to join him and when he asked about smoking, Yohan just shrugged his shoulders briefly. "Go ahead." was his curt answer.

After all, this seemed to be the employees' break-out area. Why shouldn't he grant it to him? "Do you mind if I stay a little longer and take a seat before we continue?"

Lost & Found Again || Minry&"Yuri"

Mount Phoenix was supposed to be a fresh start. He had been on the island for a few weeks now and actually everything was going well. He had started to work, settled into his new apartment and surroundings and even made a few acquaintances. As mentioned earlier, actually everything should be fine if it weren't for the image of her - Minry - that's running through his head all the time and instead of diminishing, he recently has the feeling that he sees her everywhere. On the way to work, in the stairwell, in the coffee shop around the corner. Even today in the park he thought he saw her out of the corner of his eye. It makes you want to run a mile!

As usual when he's frustrated, he grabbed his gym bag to clear his head at the gym. On the way to the front door, he grabbed his baseball cap and left the apartment, only to be greeted with a short bark by a happy little puppy just outside his door. Irritated and surprised, he looked around the hallway for the dog's owner, but there wasn't a soul in sight. He kneeled down to the puppy and patted its head. "So, where do you come from?" The friendly little fellow immediately jumped into his arms and supported himself with his front paws on Yohan's chest to lick his cheek once. "Hey, little furball, stop it." A deep laugh was heard from Yohan as he stood up with the puppy in his arms. He likes dogs very much. He just could never get one because of his lifestyle. "Let's see who misses you."

If he's not mistaken, the dog belonged to one of his neighbours, he's seen the little puppy in the hallway before. He quickly found the door, which was wide open and where the little one must have slipped through. He knocked on the open door to make himself known. He didn't want to just go in, but he seems right. The little puppy was already happily wagging its tail and would like to jump off its arm and into the apartment.

Mesmerising Smile || Kiki&Yohan

To say that Yohan is a fitness junkie might be an understatement. He spends almost every spare moment in the fitness center. Originally it was a necessity that he trained so much because of his work and dangerous environment. Now it just helps him clear his head. As such, he was delighted that Mount Phoenix had such a well-equipped fitness center and it was no wonder that he went there almost every day to train.

He'd just finished a workout when he decided to take a selfie as usual to keep track of his progress. He's still sitting on the bench of the exercise maschine he last trained on, wiping sweat from his face with a towel as he rummages in his pocket for his cell phone. After finally finding it, he is turning on the bench towards the large mirror hanging on the wall when a woman got in the way between him and the mirror and remained standing.

He looks up from the display of his cell phone straight into the face of the woman standing in front of him. Her lips were moving, meaning she was obviously talking to him, but Yohan couldn't hear a single word. He's always been fascinated by people who are all smiles and who look like they're bursting with joy. After what felt like an eternity, he finally noticed that her lips had stopped moving and she was looking at him expectantly. Shit! He still had no idea what she had said before.

"Sorry, but I got lost in your smile..."

After realising what he just said, he can feel how his cheeks are burning and reddening.

Damn, she won't believe it is because of the workout, will she?

That cannot be happing. It's like an accident. You cannot look away even though you would like to. There is something bizarre about a pickpocket watching another pickpocket at work. But seeing him pull off such a bad performance, offends Yohan's pride as a pickpocket. As if the scene is happening in slow motion, he has to watch how the pickpocket fishes his loot out of the woman's bag after a fashion. Just looking hurts.

That beats everything for stupidity. Usually he would not throw a wrench in the works of another pickpocket. There is honor among thieves. but this one clearly deserved to be given something to think about. Fun fact: A pickpocket does not expect to be pick pocket by another pickpocket. Especially not right after the crime. That dumbass also turns around to see if the woman has noticed anything and just at that moment, the woman's wallet finds its way into Yohan's pocket as if by magic.

Yohan could not help but grin as he looked at the satisfied face of the other one walking by. He would love to see the idiot's face, when he realizes that the wallet is gone, but he has to hurry after the woman. When he comes abreast with her, he pulls out the wallet at her eye level. "Guess that is yours. That dumbass..." With a small head movement he points at the unlucky pickpocket, who walks in the opposite direction. "... mistook it for its own."
