If Pains & Tears weren’t identified as Two Queens, I’d theorize that it’s Luka & Kagami when they realize their Love Interests have feelings for each other. Luka would be Tears, represent the Sadness & Despair he feels, while Kagami would be Pain, representing the Hurt & Anger she feels.

I think I’m still going to stick by this Theory. It works well (good for a Mid Finale/ Season Finale Akuma) & I now want it to happen.

To Protect Her Prince - A ML Fanfic

Marinette was lying on her bed in her room, with tears running down her face. Tikki tried her best to calm her down but after what just happened, she knew even she wouldn’t be that lucky.

“It will be okay Marinette.”

“How can it be okay, Tikki? Adrien is Chat Noir!! All this time, I’ve been denying the guy I love without realizing it!”

“Is...is it that bad that he’s Chat Noir?”

Marinette did her best to dry her tears as they continuously fell down her face.

“...It’s...it’s not fair!! Having the one I love the most being the one I trust the most is supposed to be a good thing!! I should be happy!!

“But how can I be?!?....the more I think about Adrien being Chat Noir...the more I find myself thinking....about Blanc.”

“Now I know why he knew who I was. Now I know why he was in love with me. Now I know why we were a couple.....& now I know why he became what he became.”

Tikki remained silent as her Master continued to let out all of her frustration. All she could say is one word; one name that confirmed her fears:

“Hawkmoth?”

Marinette shook her head to confirm what the Kwami said.

“Yeah.....he must have found out about us somehow. Through that, he used our relationship to bring Chat...to bring Adrien to the lowest point he could feel....until he could become The Ultimate Akuma.....until he became Blanc”

“The worst part of this whole scenario: It proves that Adrien feels the same way about me. That he loves both the girl in the mask & the one without it....& because we are heroes...because of Hawkmoth...I cannot accept those feelings.....no matter how much I want to.”

“Marinette”

This was all Tikki could find herself to say to her heartbroken Master.

Marinette could no longer cry at this point. It’s as if she ran out of tears to be able to cry any further.

“Tikki. I’m Ladybug. The Guardian of the Miraculouses. The City of Paris needs me. It needs us. It needs him.”

“To protect My Kitty......to protect my Prince.....I can’t ever let him know who I am.....at least until the time is right.”

Marinette walked onto the balcony and found herself looking out into the night sky. As she found herself growing weary & emotionally exhausted one final thought entered her mind before drifting off in the lawn chair.

“Be patient, My Prince. When the threat is gone....all will be revealed....starting with the removal of these Masks!”

This came from a thought of mine of what I think might possibly happen in the next Season. I apologize if it appears sloppy. The thought simply came to me and I wanted to get it all out before I lost the thought (like many of my other ideas). The thought eventually took them form of this Fanfic. Hope you all like it.
