A Frosted Window

As I peered through my window sun striked the Earth Washing the burden of frosted turf.

Nature's frozen life completes it's term allowing the rebirth of numbed prisoners.

As I peered through my window light breaks cuffs clasped just a fraction too tight.

The electro-chemical feeding internal complex optical FOCUS

I know what I see but unseen means more to me.

Life you, Earth the light shall set me free.

Life you, Earth I am alive.

Now I know this is no test drive yet why do we deprive you of our love?

We try to survive but heads in the clouds forget what it truly takes to thrive!

Is it possible we will forever ignore the stakes?

Is it possible damage done may be too far to break?

Fractions of time flow from the blink of an eye watching windowlessly waiting for no one and yet taken for granted.

There was a beginning now we approach the end?

At least once I'm gone, Earth I will be the light that unbinds you.

I will feed the life that reminds you of the greed that drove extinction faster than your evolution.

Life may not fall dead at our feet yet as I peered through my frosted window I feared for our survival.
