A Trip to Sri Lanka
Do you know what the teardrop in the Indian Ocean is?
The answer is Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is a small island in the Indian Ocean which has a shape similar to a teardrop. It is a good place for travelling that I believe everyone deserves to go. This travelling merits at least 10 days. I am now writing a travelling blog for you to provide the route I took around the country and also the travel guides.
Day 1 Airplane Arriving in Sri Lanka + Elephant Orphanage
It will take about 6.5 hours flying from Shanghai to Colombo. That time the plane I rode took off at 1:10 am and landed at Sri Lanka for more than 5 o'clock local time, which was 2.5 hours later than Beijing time. Then I bought a local mobile phone card; converted Dollar to Rupiah, etc. I suggest that you can have a comfortable flight time which is not so early. Or you can check in the hotels in Colombo to have a rest at first.
After managing the things, I headed straight to the Elephant Orphanage. The adult ticket is 2000 rupees per person. The child ticket is 1250 rupees per person. Besides watching the elephants, you can also have interactions with the baby elephants. One activity I recommend is to feed the baby elephants with milk. It costs 350 rupees, which is not expensive.
Tumblr media
It won’t take a long time for the Elephant Orphanage. After visiting the Elephant Orphanage, I headed for Kandy and checked into the Cinnamon Citadel Kandy hotel. The hotel is adjacent to mountains and lake, which has beautiful scenery. I stayed in this hotel for 2 days.
Day 2 Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic + Royal Botanic Gardens
The temple of the sacred tooth relic is a famous scenery spot in Kandy. The ticket is 1000 rupees a person. Children are free of charge. If you want to have a better tour of the cultural scenic spot, then you can find a guide to introduce for you. You can see all the scenic spot under the leader of the guide which people generally can’t find. The guiding costs 1000 rupees. The most important scenic spot is the sacred tooth. It is settled in a vessel. This is one relic that people should not miss.
Tumblr media
The adult ticket is 1000 rupees and child ticket is 550 rupees in the royal botanic gardens. There are much valuable and rare botany.
Day 3 Heritance Tea Factory Hotel
It will take about 5 hours to drive from Kandy to the Heritance Tea Factory Hotel. The view along the way is great. However, the hotel is on a mountain with high altitude. So we have to drive on a mountain road, which is narrow and curved. I recommend you to have a rest in MACKWOODS because of the tiring journey on the mountain road. There is a small café, so you can also order some dessert.
Tumblr media
The Heritance Tea Factory Hotel is located on a mountain with the altitude 2000 meters in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is famous for Ceylon Black Tea. There are many entertainments such as riding horses in mountains, picking the tea leaves, etc. I have a tip for you here. Because of the high altitude, the weather is quite cold on the mountain, so you have to turn on the heater and need extra blankets when sleeping. You also need to wear a coat outside in the morning because it’s windy.
Tumblr media
   Day 4 Yala National Park
After having the breakfast in the Heritance Tea factory Hotel, I headed for the Yala National Park. The driving took about 5 hours. I went to the Yala National Park at 3 p.m. I arrived at Cinnamon Wild Yala Hotel at first. This hotel is right next to the Yala National Park. The rooms of the hotel are in the wilderness. There are always animals appearing, so it is better to stay in the room.
Tumblr media
After I checked in, I contacted the driver for the park's SUV, The ticket and renting the SUV costs 27,000. Then I started the safari. If you are fortunate, you may even see the leopard.
Tumblr media
  Day 5 & Day 6 Galle
5 hours to get to Galle from Yala National Park. The car drove along the ocean. The scenery was beautiful. I checked in the UBR Hotel and spent 2 days in Galle. Next morning, I visited the old town of Galle. There are fortresses and beacons in Galle which were left over during the Netherland’s colonial time. The church is also very elegant.
Tumblr media
  Day 6 & Day 7 & Day 8
After I finished touring Galle, I headed for Bentota in the afternoon. It took 2 hours on the way and I visited some scenery spot during the journey. I rowed through the mangrove woods; watched the process of making the cinnamon perfume oil; looked around in a temple.I also passed by the turtle protection center. The price of the ticket is 500 rupees per person. Finally, I arrived at the Avani Bentota Hotel. The beach in Bentota is very famous. It is known as the “sugar coast”, which is soft and smooth. I spent 2 days in Bentota.
Day 8 & Day 9
3 hours on the way driving from Bentota to the Mount Lavinia Hotel in Colombo. This hotel was originally the governor’s palace during the time when British colonized Sri Lanka. A lot of indigenous people choose this place for taking the wedding photos. I also visited the Victoria Park and national museum in Colombo. There are a lot of treasures of Buddhism in the national museum. A visit to one of these places is well worth while. I also spent 2 days in Colombo.
Tumblr media
Day 10
Boarding the plane and leaving Sri Lanka. I really had a good time there.
Once more, I really want to reiterate here: Sri Lanka is a distinctive country worth visiting. I really recommend you have a travelling there.

A Bite of Kunshan
Have you ever been to Kunshan?  Do you know the best food in Kunshan? You must try these traditional caissons in Kunshan!
The first one: Bubble Wonton.  Avoiding stars: ★★★★☆
Tumblr media
Wonton is (in Chinese cooking) a dumpling filled with minced pork and spices, usually boiled in and served with soup but sometimes fried as a side dish. Bubble wonton is a bowl of wonton shaped like bubbles. Because when the wonton is boiling, the wonton would float up, looks like bubbles, hence the name—bubble wonton.
Why I avoid you this is because of the bubble wonton unlike other ordinary wontons, the small wonton contains only a small amount of meat and tastes very tasty.
With the choice of small wonton bubble, the skin of the wonton is very thin, so when you taste it at first, you would not feel thick of the wonton skin. This bubble wonton is an excellent snack for the afternoon in Suzhou.
In Zhengyi Street, the first bubble Wonton restaurant tastes the best. If you want to go there start from the KCIS, the fastest takes about 40 minutes and the distance is about 28.5 kilometers. The quickest taxi would cost 81 yuan if you start in KCIS. You can download an app called Baidu map. It would give you every detail that you need to go the position.
The second one: Aozao Noodle. Avoiding stars: ★★★★★
Tumblr media
Aozao noodle is one of China's top ten noodles, it is also one of the traditional noodle snacks in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. This dish is belonging to the Department of the Soviet Union.
People welcomed this noodle very much, the first reason is that: It inherits the traditional practice, with the scales of herring, fish gills, fish and fish mucus boiling proposed, so that taste unusual.
Why I very appreciate this noodle is because: this is one of the traditional food in Kunshan. People in Kunshan grow up eating Aozao noodle. The soup tastes differently. What is the difference? The soup is a bit sweet. People in Suzhou area eat food like this: kind of put sweet in the dish. So some people might feel uncomfortable if they always eat salty food.
There is a restaurant has the best Aozao Noodle ever in Kunshan —AoZao Noodle Restaurant. This restaurant was built in the Qing Dynasty, it is the oldest Aozao noodle restaurant in Suzhou. The address is Ting Lin Road, the Kunshan city. If you want to go to try the noodle, and you don’t know how to go there, you can download an app called Baidu map. This app will give you very detailed instructions on the road.
The last one: Yangcheng Lake Hairy Crabs. Avoiding stars: ★★★★★
Tumblr media
Yangcheng Lake Hairy Crab is a very famous dish in China. Why the name of this crab is called Yangcheng Lake Hairy Crab is because this crab is growing in a lake called Yangcheng Lake. Hairy is a feature of the crab that grew in the Yangcheng Lake.
The female grab’s best eating season is in September, the male crab’s best eating season is October. The difference between female and male crab is, male crab’s meat has crab cream, but the female doesn’t have crab cream, it has crab ovary.
The difference between Yangcheng Lake Hairy Crab and other crabs are: the Yangcheng Lake Hairy Crabs has very strong meat, whether female crab or male crab, they have strong meat, crab cream, and crab ovary. When you are enjoying the fun that the crab is giving to you, you will coagulate at the roof of your mouth, as if the body was surrounded. This is really a wonderful feeling.
The most wonderful place for eating is the crab, of course, is in Yangcheng Lake. There lots of Yangcheng Lake Hairy Crab Restaurants near the lake. You can pick whatever you want. I think the best restaurant in there is called YuJiaDengHuo restaurant. The cook in this restaurant is the best cook for crab ever! He is an expert at cooking the crab. The location of YuJiaDengHuo is very far from KCIS. So the most saving time plan is to take the car because other transportations take more time then the car.
These three dishes are the top three dishes in Kunshan City!! If you live in Kunshan and you never try them before, go head! They will make you a surprise!!

SPRING FESTIVAL
Do you know any customs about Spring Festival? Do you want to know them? Let me just tell you! Spring Festival is Chinese New Year. Let’s just say China has two festivals are related to new year, but they have different names!  Spring Festival was follow the lunar calendar, it is more important in our tradition, people pay more attention on Spring Festival.
In Spring Festival, we often make and eat dumplings in the New Year’s Eve, it is one of the tradition. Dumplings were made up with wrapper, fillings(can be anything you want). Some people will put one coin into one of the dumpling, the person who get the coin, that means he can be successful in the next year. Some places don’t eat dumplings, they eat glutinous rice cake, it also delicious.
People will buy special purchases for the Spring Festival about 2 days before, to be prepared for the upcoming day. Our family do not buy things, because we don’t have this tradition. Set off fireworks and firecrackers was the most popular activity during the Spring Festival, elderly, kids, teenagers, and adults are all expect to see those things, but I don’t really like that. People set off fireworks every time before breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also, set off it at mid-night, which is 24:00, it means that the new year is coming, and they say goodbye to last year.
At the beginning of New Year, elders will give kids lucky money, which is the most happiest time of kids. But before they get the money, they need to  pay a New Year call and give some greetings.
Also, we can not forget the most important tradition, which is poetic couplet. Poetic couplets are often fill with red background, in China, red is auspicious, people wear red clothes, post red poetic couplet, the luck money are also put in red packet. The poetic couplets are post on the every doors, the biggest one need to post on the front door.
OK! Now, I finished my explanation. Do you have some expectations about the Spring Festival? Do you want come to China and enjoy it? YES! YOU MUST!

Same thought from the student
Can you believe that most of the student have the same thought about something? Don't you think it's crazy and interesting that they have the same thought? Let me tell you about it.
There are several same thought from the students, let me make a list for you to see.
1. They desire what they don't have and they give away when they get it.
You know why I say this? They actually want other things when you get something you want or they just don't want it anymore.
1. Student desire for vacation when they have class.
First, most of the student might think like this: Ah school is so boring, I want to start my vacation and just have fun and chill in my house to do whatever I want because they need to work so hard and many homework at school BUT, when it comes to the vacation, most of the student might think like this: Ah I don't want to stay in the house anymore, my mom is so annoying and I haven't finished my vacation work yet. That's how students act.
Second, many couples appear now as teenagers, and how you feel when you see couples hanging around and kissing each other? They might be jealous and desire to have one. BUT! When they actually "reach" their "dream" most of them give away soon because they are annoying.
Third, most of the student never completely finish something hard. Students are now getting lazy and lazy, so they think that it's
cheesed, so they just give up on what they planned to complete such as doing exercise for a long time or wake up really early in the cold winter to do sports.
That's what I have seen from the real life.
2. They think they can be independent (to manage themselves well) Hopefully they can’t.
First, they always plan for themselves, and actually, it's not bad, BUT!! Where the problem is that they don't even FOLLOW their schedules. So, even though they have a perfect plan, they still can’t finish their things on time. They show their parents their plans and like see I can manage myself, and finally it comes to the deadline, the teacher calls your mom “why didn’t your child finish your work he got punished.” When kids get home, boom mom starts “Nagging” at you. So I suggest you never do it again.
Second, sometimes they don’t do what they said and they don’t say what they did. For example, I have a friend, who is like this, he never does what he said and he never says what he did. He usually told himself, yes I need to stay awake in the midnight to study hard for the test, BUT it always ends up with “Ah I’m tired I will wake up early and study” and then he falls asleep (By the way, he still didn’t wake up early and study.) And then, when he gets the test score and told his mom “sorry I fail my test, I tried to remember all that I had to learn but it’s useless. (Actually, he studied NOTHING!)
See, I know what they are thinking LOL, it is crazy that people do the same thing you know.

3 ways of second-guessing about humanity
Trillion of human, dead or alive, sleeping, dying, or dead… All of them are indulging in some strange cylinder devices full of digitally weird liquid… And all the surface of planet Earth, overspread of these devices as thick as huckleberries.
Do you ever second-guess about yourself or ourselves? Maybe human are not just came out like many scientists say. Do human really evolved from apes? Why people keep research the AI which is actually putting us in hot water? Do not think I’m pushing around you, I can show out doctor’s proof that I don’t have a screw loose. I’m just on the road to sell you guys on.
1.       We are playing by someone as game characters. We don’t know where us come from, acting like a character in a game. We both know that a game may be reset, right? Maybe this world is reset too. The Maya calculated 21/12/2012 is the doomsday, and most of people actually believe this firmly, but nothing happened that day. According to my research, it’s kooky that many people think their lives during 2013~2014 was passing faster but not really attracting their attention.
2.       External forces. There are few question continuously confuse me: Why the written history of humanity only have about thousand years but the anthropoid had millions of years? Why the ancient civilizations arose words records in the same time? Why anthropoid suddenly caught on to civilization? Why all that jazz things happened unlikely with what they should be? I’m not ad lib, but the history of evolution almost stagnated for 3 millions of years, it’s too off-the-wall.
3.       Test field. Now days, more and more evidences from archaeological researches are expressing that the civilizations are seasonal. Once a civilization develop till someone who are controlling think it’s worthless or minatory, they might reset the world. There are much faults during the evolution of human, but we can’t find any evidences for transition.
I might be one of the people who really interest and focus on these problems. If any of you who saw my blog get interest too, please join my way and discover ourselves together.

TOP 5 VIEWS IN KCISEC😀
“Kang Chiao brings me the world.....”
Actually, Kang Chiao doesn’t bring us a world, it is a world on its own (a small one)! You’ll be able to see “amazing” views that are only visible in KCISEC, and here it goes:
#5
FANCY GIRLS
During all four seasons in a year, you’ll be able to see fashionable girls walking in the hallways or chitchatting in the restroom. All those XXXXXXXL size shirts plus super short skirts are great ways 2to show their long legs. It is quite amazing seeing soooo many people breaking the school dress code “all skirts must be worn .......” Well, that’s not the most spectacles part yet, during winter times when the temperature bounces around 0 degrees Celsius, despite the severe wind and coldness, some still wear skirts bear leg! Their courage should definitely be awarded.
#4
DETENTION
“A punishment given to students who have behaved badly to stay at school after others have gone home.” Here in KCISEC, detention is so common. The school’s first policy was that students take their own books and read for 30 minutes during detention, apparently, it did not work well so now students have to copy vocabularies for detention. However, the number has not diminished. Imagine a maximum of 100 students sitting all in one room copying words, with satisfied faces, it is more of a tea time party then detention. Hmmmm they must all have unbelievable imagination.
#3
LOST AND FOUND
Actually, the name “Lost and not found” is much more suitable. You’ll be able to find anything you need for daily school bases there. Pens, water bottles, glasses, even expensive electronics such as laptops and ipads! Can you imagine an entire shelf of water bottles that watch students walk by every day but not stop, it really hurts their feeling.
#2
LUXURIES
KCISEC is also known as an Aristocracy school. Most students are descendants of business tycoons, which means that they are RICH. Walking around the school, you’ll see limited edition Chanel shoes, Jordans are everyday slipper.........I mean, what for??????????
#1
COUPLES
(Let me try to be descriptive) Every night after school, as the bell rings, herds of students rush back into their cozy dormitory, but there are exceptions. Pairs of them, strolling peacefully in a moonless night, the temperature is just above 0. It doesn’t matter, two hearts that are deeply attracted
Couples are everywhere! It is impossible to miss. From sixth to twelfth grade in all shapes and sizes. Standing five meters away, the scent of love would go right through your nose, isn’t it just magical to feel the young and pure love in today’s evil world.

How to take a shocking portrait photograph
“Okay, a little bit to the left, yes. No! No! No! To the right, right! Yeah, finally! Hold there, don’t move.” And then, that photographer rotates the switch, and then moves his finger to the shutter of the camera, “Three, two, one.” The photographer click the shutter’s bottom, the photo are there, the model has a perfect shape, but have you found out this photograph is a little bit of different?
No, you shouldn’t be found out what is deferent, because it is just little difference between a super clear picture and a shocking portrait.
What is the difference than? Knock on wood, I’m here to tell you how, but not from the very end, start from the basic, first is your gesture, I know it is pretty boring, but lend me your ear, no pain no gain, so let’s get started. First, is your arm, it should be relaxed and lay down, don’t be too nervous. Second, your little arm should raise the camera up, and the fingers from you left hand should go around the camera, the right hand gently hold the camera, and put you index finger on the shutter. But if you are using smart phones, than screw these, just do what normal people do.
Then, we are going to practice your leg’s strength, is you want have a regular photo experience just close you’re your leg like a closed scissor. If you want to have a low vision like a sniper, than be like the sniper, you can learn their gesture in movie, TV show, or even games, okay, just don’t act cool, making it fancy, actually, just be normal. But if you don’t want that low, to touch the grass, you can just squat, the squat I’m talking here is the normal squat, bend your knees, open your leg, like you are having toilet. Don’t feel shame, and then kneel on one knee, that’s the wrong gesture. Oh, still one thing, if you are really think that you are a photography master, then screw them all, just do what you like the most, because taking photos isn’t the point, the point is how would you take nice and awesome pictures.
Although you think the gestures is not important, you still have to take a good care of this. This depend on if you could recognize the difference yet, have you? Okay, let me tell you, it’s quite simple, don’t think too much, there is only one thing, the people or the model is very clear, and the background is not, but still recognizable, That’s why this skill can show the subject clearly.
What lead this then? It’s because the different stalls mode. Have you seen the little rotate on the camera? That have M, A, S, P, Auto…? That’s the key. A, S, P, Auto are the all the auto stall, but for different use, the auto mode is actually the “idiot” mode, give you the most clear photo. You have the choose the M mode for high quality photograph. If you want the effect that I told you, use A or M, If you choose M, the aperture should go big, so the F need to get low.
That is what I’m talking about, you learned it?

5 Reasons That I Don’t Want To Go To College
Have you ever think you can be a billionaire without any college degree? In this modern society, there are millions of billionaires around the world that have no college degree, such as Richard Branson, Bill Gates, Barry Diller, etc. You might be surprised that a little young man doesn’t want to go to college. What the hell is the boy’s mind? But here are five reasons this little young man doesn’t want to go to college. Yeah! I am the little young man.
1.    Things we learned in the college are worthless!
Worthless? Yeah! In the future, we won’t talk about calculus, Differentiation, Integration, etc. The thing we need the most is the experience. So the essays do not help to our future job. Do you get it? I don’t think so. So here is another way to say that. If you are the boss, you can only choose one employee. There is a boy has 4 years EXPERIENCE in this job and the other boy has 4 years COLLEGE! Which guys will you choose? It must be the boy has 4 years experience.
2.    Most of the people don’t know what they are going to do for the rest of their life!
What is the job after you get the college degree? In fact, there are many people had nothing to do after he/she got the college degree. So you waste 4 years to get the college degree and become clueless about future! That’s it? So, I don’t want to waste my life in the college and become worthless to the society! I can be someone likes Bill Gates. the one who invented Microsoft, find the most thrilling life ever.
3.    College sucks! (I mean dangerous⊙~⊙)
There are gangs, drugs, teenage parties, etc. And these things can badly influence you if you can’t self-controlled. For example, Bill is a good guy before he went to college. But he became a bad guy after he went to college. Why?? Because there is peer-influenced that made him into a bad gang in college. So I don’t want to go to college.
4.    Skills are more important than the college degree!
What are the things you do in the college? Theses! Right, everyone needs to type theses in college, typically report. However, would you like to type the long and complex theses after you graduated from college? Absolutely not! Are the theses you made helpful to your job? Definitely not! For me, I prefer to train us some skills, because they are more helpful than typing theses.
5.    There are DRAMAS everywhere no matter you changed to any college.
“Can you keep a secret for me?” ”Yes!” ” Bill loves Kate!” Then, the other one told the “SECRET” to everyone in the college. And then, the fake news separates to everywhere in the school. I think most of you hate this “DRAMAS”. Doesn’t it? And I hate the college as I hate the DRAMAS.
However, we still need to go to college for bringing a bright new future, even though there are TONS of disadvantages in the college.

Top 3 Weird Requirements from Asian Moms
Moms always have a bunch of different kinds of weird requires, but especially asian moms(I mean most of the weird requires comes from asian moms). “You can’t ________, because someone/TV show said_______.”
For example “You can’t eat chocolates, because blahblahblah show said that eat chocolates will effect your growing and your skin will become black.” Most of these requires were not proved by scientists, and they are seriously ridiculous for me, but you have to listen to your mom, there’s no way to get rid of these requires.
“You must have better score than (whoever’s kids).” or “You must be the top__in your school/class!”
China has these requires very commonly, almost all the parents have requires about you must be top 10 or top 5 in your school/class. Then we(students, children, and sons/daughters) got heavy pressure about grades. In America I didn’t see these type of situation, American parents are all nice to their kids about the score. Also, asian mom very, super, and extremely likes to compare their children to other mom’s children. For example like, “You know ___’s son ___ right? Do you know that he got an 100 on his english test again!” The son was like, “So? What do you mean?” Then his mom started to being angry, “Don’t you see that her son is so much better than you? Why can’t you study harder to get and A+ or something to not being so ashamed not proud about you? ......” Believe me, they are always being strange and weird at home. Visiting different types of doctor several times
Mom always can’t believe doctors. There is no way to make them trust doctor, but I have a query, then why do you bring your kids to visiting different types of doctors like
doctor of traditional Chinese medicine, professional doctor, someone’s friend/ neighborhood/kinsman, and etc. Thank God my mom does not like that. You should be thankful if your mom was not similar to these weird moms, really.

The little problem during class time…
My head became heavy, eyes began to blur, and the voice of the teacher started to fade away…
Have you ever fall into the same situation, falling asleep during class time? Whatever or not, it happens to me all the time, since going into IB. However, I think the reason of that is not because of the boring classes, I have to say that teachers in IB are pretty great, and the classes are really interesting. What is the reason then?
Inadequate sleep probably is the most important factor that affects my concentration during class time. I always stay awake at eleven pm and sometimes even twelve. I like to stay awake because I can use the time to do things that I want such as chatting with friends, finishing homework, or even reading books. However, the unhealthy habit makes me suffer during class and I need to use all my energy on keeping myself awake. It also throws a question on me: How much time for sleep is real adequate?
According to the information from US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health “adequate sleep is defined as 6–8 hours per night regularly” and the adequate sleep time for a mid-adolescent is 8 hours.(Chen) Apparently, if I adjust my sleep duration, and begin to go to bed at the time of 10 pm, to the 6 am next morning, I will have total 8 hours of sweat rest. The interesting thing is that this time period, from 10 to 6, is the time school wants us to be asleep and in fact in 7 and 8 grade, I once had the habit of going to sleep from 10 to 6.
In the future, I will try to adjust my unhealthy habit little by little and finally into the standard of 10 to 6. I have the faith that when someday I have adequate sleep every night, I will never fall asleep during class, even if I want to.

The Most Excited Christmas Holiday (informal)
Oh my God! Seven girls travel in Beijing without parents. What will happen on them?
One month before Christmas holiday, we want to travel in Beijing. After we discussed with parents, our sevens can go to Beijing and without parents. Yeah!! Before the journey, we booked the high-speed rail ticket. We chose the high-speed rail to instead the airplane because high-speed rail ticket is more cheaper. And we reserved a home stay on Airbnb. This home stay was much cheaper than hotel. And its environment was very good. It let us feel at home. Also, it’s in alley, so it can let us feel Beijing’s customs. It’s really a good choice for students. Because we'd prefer one that isn't too expensive!
During this trip, we ate a lot of traditional food, such as Tanghulu, Noodles with Bean Paste, and roast Beijing duck. They tasted very very delicious! You must try these. Tanghulu is a traditional Chinese snack of candied fruit. It typically has a hardened sugar coating that comes from dipping the skewer in sugar syrup. It’s sweet and sour. Noodles with Bean Paste is traditional Chinese noodles. It originated from Beijing. It made by vegetables,  fried sauce and noodles. Roast Beijing duck is very famous in Beijing. The cook used charcoal to bake the duck. People always roll the duck in a lotus leaf pie and add appropriate seasoning according to personal interests.
Also, we met the challenges. On the second day, Tracy and I get lost. Sad!!! We were shopping on the South Luogu Lane. When we wanted back to the home stay, we lost the direction. We tried to ask passer-by and use GPS. But they were all useless. Finally, our friends came and took us back. And another challenge is we almost missed the high-speed rail. The night before we leave, we played until 2pm. And in the morning, no one waked up. Finally, someone called us to get up, so we didn’t miss the high-speed rail.
This journey for us is very special. This is the first time we travel without parents. This is a memorable experience. We met challenges and we had joy. It’s really an exciting Christmas.

During this trip, we ate a lot of traditional food, such as Tanghulu, Noodles with Bean Paste, and roast Beijing duck. It’s very delicious. Roast Beijing duck is very famous in Beijing. The cook used charcoal to bake the duck. People always roll the duck in a lotus leaf pie and add appropriate seasoning according to personal interests.
Also, we met the challenges. On the second day, Tracy and I get lost.

I saw the cuisine, eight cuisines of China in front of me! Excellence in color, aroma and taste! Follow the history of China, there were eight cuisines appeared. They are Sichuan cuisine, Hunan Cuisine, Shandong cuisine, Hui cuisine, Fujian cuisine, Guangzhou cuisine, Zhejiang cuisine and Jiangsu cuisine. Every cuisine all is good in color, flavor and taste. We can classify these eight cuisines in 5 classifications. The 5 classification are spicy cuisine, salty cuisine, sour cuisine, sweet cuisine and balance cuisine.
The first classification is spicy cuisine. There are two cuisines are spicy. They are Sichuan cuisine and Hunan cuisine. The Sichuan cuisine is spicy and hot. This cuisine was created in Sichuan. All of dishes of the Sichuan cuisine is very savoury. In this cuisine, people always take the fish as the staple food in many dishes of the Sichuan cuisine, such as the Mapo Tofu. And they will add a lot of ingredients. Top 5 the Most Fun Logic Paradox
What do you call a thing that in logical that cannot be true but also cannot be false? It’s paradox!
1. Trolley Problem
This a thought experiment in ethics:
“There is a runaway trolley barreling down the railway tracks. Ahead, on the tracks, there are five people tied up and unable to move. The trolley is headed straight for them. You are standing some distance off in the train yard, next to a lever. If you pull this lever, the trolley will switch to a different set of tracks. However, you notice that there is one person tied up on the side track. You have two options:
1. Do nothing, and the trolley kills the five people on the main track.
2.Pull the lever, diverting the trolley onto the side track where it will kill one person.” (Thomson, 1985)
    Q: What is your choice?
2. Ship of Theseus
This is a thought experiment that raises the question of whether an object that has had all of its components replaced remains fundamentally the same object:
“Whether a ship that had been restored by replacing every single wooden part remained the same ship.” (Plutarch)
This  reminds me to “What makes you ‘you’?” .
3. Grandfather Paradox
This s a paradox of time travel:
“Imagine you build a time machine. It is possible for you to travel back in time, meet your grandfather before he produces any children (i.e. your father/mother) and kill him.”
Actually, you would not have been born and the time machine would not have been built.
4. Barber Paradox
This is a puzzle derived from Russell’s paradox. It was used by Bertrand Russell himself as an illustration:
“The barber is the "one who shaves all those, and those only, who do not shave themselves." The question is, does the barber shave himself?” (Bertrand Russell)
5. Buttered - Cat  Paradox
Ohhh, this is my favorite! It related to the perpetual motion machine:
“Cat’s always land on their feet.  Buttered toast always lands buttered side down.
If we attach a piece of buttered toast to the back of a cat, none of them will fall first, and perpetual motion will be generated.”
Hmmm, but cat is heavier than buttered toast, so how it works??? The perpetual motion machine will not be possible.

Why There Some Bandwagon Effects in Our Daily Life
I just learn that bandwagon effect is a kind of psychology effect that shows why people starting to follow the trend.
Nowadays, the increasing popularity of a product or phenomenon encourages people to "get  on the bandwagon”, and this is a kind of conformity behavior. So the bandwagon effect explains why there are fashion trends. For example, in a concert or a show, any other large crowd, when one person stands or claps,  everyone will follow him to stand or clap.
So why we always being conform with others? The major reason is people want to gain social acceptance. There have been numerous studies that illustrate the ways in which human beings strive to be accepted as part of or at least avoid being rejected by a social group.
One fascinating study examined the human fear of rejection: it was predicted that when people were asked to express their opinion on a particular topic, those who perceived themselves as holding the minority opinion would be slower to express that opinion than would the people who perceived themselves as holding the majority opinion. Not only was this prediction found to be true, but as the perceived size of the minority group decreased, the minority individual expressed even more hesitancy in the expression of their opinion. Interestingly, this slow response did not appear to be affected by the strength of the attitude being expressed nor the knowledge that the subject would have to make their opinion publicly known. It appears that when people feel they belong to the minority of a group they become reluctant to express their own opinions because they can foresee negative consequences of not fitting in with the majority. This demonstrates how social influence can be a powerful force affecting the expression of opinions. (Bassili, 2003)
Another study conducted on the influences of social pressure on acceptance or rejection. It was found that under conditions of no social pressure from a surrounding group, participants' attitudes appeared to be fairly good predictors of their behavior. However, as perceived social pressure was raised, it was found that attitudes were less able to predict behavior accurately. For instance, if a subject had no objections to smoking cigarettes, in the absence of any social pressure, the subject would smoke. However, in the presence of several individuals who expressed negative views towards smoking and its effects, the smoker may decide not to smoke while surrounded by the group (Wallace, Paulson, Lord, & Bond, 2005).
Consequently, according to these examples and studies, I know that many times we choose to conform because whether consciously or subconsciously we all desire to fit in somewhere, with someone.

The Elder Scrolls V: skyrim has high degree of freedom and big map, you can do any things in this big land-- Skyrim, fishing, travel, fight to monster, buy a house, even marry with a man/woman. It’s very cool, doesn’t it?
Skyrim is a RPG(Role Play Games) developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It first issued in November 11, 2011 in Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360. And the game shipped over seven million copies to retailers within the first week,  and sold over 30 million copies across all platforms. What a big number! Well, I guess the Bethesda Game Studios was walk on air at that time.
The game’s plot is talk the dragonborn(player) needs to kill the Alduin( the evil dragon) to organize him to destroy the Skyrim. At the story’s first, dragonborn was arrest by Imperiale, but a dragon broke the village when solider wants to kill dragonborn, so dragonborn escape to Whiterun, then he learned how to kill a dragon and absorb the dragon’s soul to make he be stronger. So finally, he kill the Alduin with another three heroes, the Skyrim was peace and safe again. During the whole story, you can feel the best things in this game-- details. In the game, you can use a lot of weapons, such as sword, axe, bow, wand and other novelty weapons. And you can pick up the plant to make potion, visit beautiful place and take legendary equipment.
About the evaluation, the IGN gave The Elder Scrolls V: skyrim 9.5 point “amazing” level, and the website comments “Stunning environmental detail make exploring Skyrim all the more rewarding. But the game has some strange bugs.” The Gamespot gave the game 9 point with “superb” level, and the website comments “ Immense world stuffed with varied tasks to perform, and dragon battles are a blast, but glitches and bugs frequently disrupt the immersion and friendly AI is often more of a hindrance than a help.”
The Elder Scrolls V: skyrim is selling in X-box 360, steam, PS4, switch, the high freedom in game and nice details made it achieved, and it not like the common RPG games, you need explore a huge map to complete your mission, every task all has nice details, it showed a fantastic world to me, I’m very enjoy this game. By the way, the monster in game are not friendly to player, so when you playing the game, knock on wood!
