someone on this website can make the mildest anti-work post like "i hate having a job i wish i could stay at home playing games" and the replies will inevitably be like "well if you want a TRUE COMMUNIST UTOPIA you'll need to PULL YOUR WEIGHT you cant be a USELESS LAYABOUT consuming EXPLOITATION you need to put aside your selfishness and ORGANISE with your COMMUNITY" and its like. okay i agree but have you never heard of 'wishes' and 'fantasies' before

When you get in a disagreement and the rejection sensitivity tells you you’re going to suffer forever and then a third party says “you handled that really well, you did nothing wrong.”

"With wild abandon" is still my favourite description of how to do any activity. Abandoning what? Whatever else there is, I suppose. Restraint, hesitation, caution. Common sense included. I shall now proceed to go apeshit on the watercolour shading of these pillars I'm painting.

"you can't draw/write this if the character can't consent!!"
no fictional character can consent because they are fictional. with fiction you have to force them together and make them fuck using the power of your mind, that's the true beauty of it

Hi, I noticed your story has conflict in it, and I was wondering why you didn't just write people who are right doing everything correctly with a note saying "I enthusiastically co-sign everything in this story"? Must be some kind of mistake haha

Therapy speak is super annoying in characters and i think more authors should weaponize this by having a character use therapy speak to justify all their bad life choices including but not limited to bullying, arson, and war crimes to really drive home just how obnoxious it is
#I need to find an excuse to do this#yknow what. yknow who would pull this actually#An-Sha. that motherfucker#idk how he would get his hands on therapy speak but if he did he would

when i was younger i had a really bad fear of markiplier when i was going to sleep so my older brother gave me a watch that he set to like 8 hours ahead so that it was always daytime on the watch when i was asleep and he told me it would confuse markiplier and he would think it was daytime and get scared of the sun and leave me alone

finally put that "Megatron betrays the Terrans" au to paper,
Starscream isn't taking it well, and frankly neither is Dorothy.
(also! I accidentally called nova storm ion storm in the writeup and only noticed after I rasterized the text- please imagine that away lol)

Ghost
(obligatory click for better resolution + context and details below cut)
This idea has been haunting (heh.) me for a good while now.
What if Starscream was the one lost to the storm on earth - but died in it and remained in place as a ghost?
Skyfire awakes and wants to bring him back asap. If there's an energy there can be life, right? He tries to rebuild Starscream's body from all sources he has access to; some of them dead bodies (not being capable of rebuilding an entire cybertronian from scratch ofc), all while being stalked by his unstable ghost. Sometimes he even catches glimpses of Starscream, but 4 million years of ghost-ness will mess a guy up and he's everything but nice and tidy. He's hungry to live again and he'll do anything to assure that Skyfire, the one person properly aware of him and willing to help, keeps the good work up. No matter the cost.
(...I'll eventually have to come up with a good AU name. "Frankenstar"? "Frankenfire"? "Help I accidentally am trying to revive my coworker on purpose and breaking all laws of sense and godliness in the process"?)

20 Ways to Show Extreme Fear in Your Writing
As I dive into researching signs of fear for my horror WIP, I wanted to share some of the most compelling and visceral reactions I’ve come across. Whether you’re writing a chilling scene or crafting a character’s panic, these 20 signs of fear can help bring tension and realism to your story.
Physical Reactions
Hyperventilating — sucking in air but never feeling like it’s enough
Chest tightens — feels like a weight or hands pressing down
Limbs shaking violently, knees buckling
Complete loss of muscle control — collapsing or unable to stand
Cold sweat soaking through clothes
Heart hammering so hard they feel it in their throat or head
Tunnel vision — the world narrowing down to one terrifying focal point
Ringing in the ears or sudden deafness, like the world drops away
Dizziness / feeling faint / vision blurring
Dry mouth — unable to speak or even scream
Uncontrollable Behavior
Screaming / sobbing / gasping — involuntary vocal outbursts
Panic run — bolting without thinking, tripping over everything
Clawing at their own skin / chest / throat — like trying to escape their body
Begging / pleading out loud even if no one’s there
Repeating words or phrases — “No, no, no” / “This isn’t happening”
Hiding instinctively — diving under tables, closets, or corners
Desperate grabbing — reaching for someone, anything solid
Loss of bladder or bowel control (for extreme terror)
Total mental shutdown — frozen, slack-jawed, staring blankly
Memory blackout — later can’t recall what happened during the worst moment
