one of my many favorite things about ss86 optimus how much bigger he is than other bots in ss86 because i can get them into some pretty cute parent/child poses

i just love them all so much i know they’re inanimate hunks of plastic but i need them to know that they are loved and that everything is going to be alright

ok so update on that studio series rotb wheeljack i bought yesterday. the clear plastic holding his door wings on started to explode

this, mind you, was the result of nothing but me transforming the damn thing a few times. two of the four snapped clean off (as pictured) and a third one stressed and cracked to the point that if probably would have exploded of if i breathed on it wrong. so i went back to the store i got him from and, once again proving that this is the greatest toy store ever, they let me exchange him for store credit even though i’m the one who broke him

you best believe i used that store credit right then and there so everyone say hello to skids and wheeljack

so i just watched love and mercy (2014) which of course stars my favorite actor paul dano as 1960s brian wilson which is all form and good but WHY DO THEY LOOK THE EXACT SAME

i know they’re not but like these are legit the same person it’s so uncanny

swiss army man (2016) is excellent, as is there will be blood (2007) and the fabelmans (2022). being flynn (2012) and dumb money (2023) are pretty good too and you should watch all of them several times until you are what we in the business refer to as “too far gone”

does anyone have any movie recommendations with paul dano as the main/important character besides like ruby sparks and the girl next door ??
