It’s so hard being here right now and feeling so powerless. My whole county is ruined and nothing that all of us, the millions and millions here who care and put in the work to avoid this, has done anything to stop it. I’m really sad and hopeless. It’s nearly impossible to accept how bad this is going to be, to just make peace with the fact that it will be more awful than I can know.

I’m so fucking devastated with the state of my country right now. I’m so full of hate and embarrassment and fear. I tried so hard to avoid this outcome and I’d give anything for things to be different. I’ll do my best to fight and minimize the damage for those affected worse than I am, but I don’t know what to do when I’ve lost every already scant shred of faith in this place forever.

I will likely be deleting all social media at some point in the near future, but am briefly breaking my hiatus to make it very clear: Donald Trump is a hateful, fascist moron, and anyone who voted for him is a hateful, fascist moron. I don't want to "unify" or "come together" with you. We are not "on the same team".
