I wish they lingered a little bit longer on that hand holding bus stop scene… I feel like the pace of this episode was as fast as Nicki Minaj’s Roman holiday rap part.
I hoped the flirting phase would last for at least two episodes, and I would be able to go through stages of smelling the wine, tasting the wine, smacking my lips thoughtfully, letting the whole pallet unravel. Instead they smacked me on the face with a stake. They still served it though. I finished the whole thing, but it would’ve been better if I had a chance to leisurely enjoy it.
The time jump gave me major ptsd. (Ipytm is to blame). It was nice of them to fill it a bit with flashbacks from the library. Still hate huge time rewinds.
Another thing that bugged me was the amount of product placement. Even though it’s something to expect from a Thai lakorn, felt like if there were no need for them to advertise, the scrip would’ve been different. Who knows, maybe even better..
Pran’s mom was a great surprise. The woman still is a patophob. What a shame.
Don’t remember anything else, the episode was too hard on my adhd. Still loved it. Great show, aside from Utsukushii Kare, it is the only thing that keeps me going these days.
#bad buddy#thought from the den#no one asked but I don’t care#three weeks ago I couldn’t imagine I would be this invested

At this point I am truly not sure if I’d be rewatching IPYTM in the future. I rewatched ITSAY a bunch of times because the atmosphere there, though painful at times, was still beautiful. You are watching two people fall in love, deal with hardships, figure things out and eventually witnessing a somewhat bittersweet happy ending.
But with IPYTM on the other hand.. why on earth would I want to go through this again? Why would I willingly go back to the episode 1, watch them kiss in that stupid aquarium and cuddle in bed lovingly, knowing exactly what will happen later?
I honestly doubt ep 5 has any chance of saving this show, especially since they are making another ginormous jump into the future. (Not a fan of this at all, from the very beginning of the show. big mistake, huge)
So I guess Oh Aew isn’t the only one letting something go here, I guess I also have to let IPYTM go, and except the fact that I’d have to continue rewatching those same 5 episodes pretending that season 2 didn’t happen (what am I even saying??? They ruined itsay for me as well :( I won’t be able to look at Teh anymore)
//I wish Oh Aew’s friends had more screen time :((
I am happy Oh Aew fought back a bit in this ep. everything seemed pretty true to the character.
I am extremely mad at the fact that after everything Teh did to Oh, he still got a reward in a form of that acting gig. Like really? He’s being a complete jerk and still gets to succeed? Flower bouquet beating is not enough!!!
*whispers* Oh Aew’s shirt… with that heart cut out… and his bare chesticles being out and about.. *heavy breathing* he is so freaking cool.. aaaah..//

I’ve finally gathered my thoughts (kinda).
I hope that ep 4 and 5 would be more about Oh Aew, because if not, then the writers lost me.
I am in love with the way this show is filmed, the acting is great but oh boy I don’t like how they made Oh Aew so passive. This boy is a swan not a kakapo (sorry, kakapo).
I think Teh is acting the way Teh would act, the guy really falls for people who he has a lot in common with, whom he can look up to. That’s his thing since itsay. BUT what I don’t believe in is that Oh Aew would be so naïve. This, in my opinion, is out of character. Writers really made him an extension of Teh’s character this season. I don’t believe that such a discerning, sensitive to emotions, quick-witted guy from itsay would not be able to notice a change in Teh’s feelings in the course of like what? 2years?? Hello?
(And judging from Teh’s character I think that his feeling for Oh Aew weakened since from the very beginning their relationship was built on something completely different. Their relationship remind me of a house of cards. I guess Teh liked Oh physically, an actual chemistry, but other then that they didn’t really have much in-common. So when him and Oh got the same dream, Teh fell for Oh to the extant of an actual love, as to be expected. It became more then just a physical attraction. So now when Oh took away their mutual dream and also changed his appearance, Teh all of a sudden stopped having those connections, and naturally his feelings weakened.)
//Teh keeps going on and on about Oh changing, well yeah, a boy dyed his hair, for gods sake, but his feelings are all the same, you blind male man. And actually the only one here who changed is you 👉, Teh. So snap out of it, you arrogant little snot boy, and go and apologize to your boyfriend!//
