I am now obssessed with the concept of a midnight whimsgothic library/coffee shop made for ppl burning the midnight oil. It opens at 9pm and closes at 6am.

museums should be open till like midnight, i don't want to go to the club i want to go look at art or fossils.

that reminds me of the last time i walked over to a perfume shop, smelled one perfume, and said "ah, it smells like going to the beach!" and the shopkeeper never heard anyone say this about that perfume before so it was mandatory for me to expand that impression into a more weidly specific "ah, this reminds me of going back from the beach as a kid, having someone wash my hair, and the deep conditione smelling like this!"

fun fact: earlier that day, i was in another perfume shop with a friend, and when we smelled that same fragrance we BOTH went "oh, it reminds me of going to the beach!"

your scent processing being so close to memory in your brain is insane sometimes you step outside and take a whiff and go "ah, it smells like playing pokemon emerald in my third grade afterschool program in the crisp september of 2006"
