Jordyn: Hey! I just got into the city. Hows Willow doing?

Jordyn: I forgot to mention she might refuse to eat dinner at her usual time if it's hot out, if she's not showing interest just pick up her bowl and try again an hour later or so.

Gabriella: I am so glad you made it! How is it?

Gabriella: Willow is doing so well! Her energy is so adorable and Eliza is having so much fun having another dog around.

Gabriella: That is very good to know, thank you! It was almost like you were reading her mind because she didn't want to eat earlier but as soon as I saw your text and tried again she was ready.

all of that in three hours? I’m honestly impressed. Please tell me someone has brought you a donut? If not I could stop by and drop some off. Hopefully apart from all of that the rest of your day is going well too.

Three hours into my shift and I’ve already finished my book, caught 7 Pokémon, and completed an arm workout and just as I was about to reward myself with a donut… I realized I forgot to hit Rose’s before heading into the station. So I guess what I’m saying is does anyone wanna bring me some donuts? I’ll let you try on my Fire Helmet…

I know how much you love the city but Sander’s Bay is lucky to have you back. I hope this means we can get more chances to spend time together. Well my apartment building is great, it has a lot of amenities and the people here are nice too. But I know Elliott has sung the praises of how great it is to live on the beach too.  

And so it seems that I find myself unwillingly back in Sander’s Bay. As I’m taking a much longer break from New York, I figured it’s time to find a more permanent residence around town. Any inputs or suggestions as to what place I should be looking into would be greatly appreciated.

Elliott: I am excited -- I miss the city, even if I enjoy the peace and quiet more than I thought I would.

Elliott: Careful there, Dias, you'll fuel her girlcrush, 😉 I'm pretty sure all this is more because I'm bringing you along than for me.

Elliott: Mmmmm, maybe we could leave around 11ish -- not TOO early, but it's about an hour and a half flight and we don't have to deal with security, so we could be in the city in time for a late lunch and plenty of time to settle in?

Gabriella: It is like you are reading my mind. Didn’t think I’d warm up to the quiet life but it’s pretty great isnt it?

Gabriella: I can’t help it! If people bring me ice cream I have to hug them it’s just the rule 😉 But seriously though, that is so cute!

Gabriella: That sounds perfect to me! More time to enjoy great New York food and enjoy the atmosphere. Is it bad I’m almost packed? I’m just that excited for our fun adventure together.

mia: idk how i did. i was going crazy looking all over the house for it. i thought i may have lost it.

mia: i wish i knew how it ended up in the fridge.

mia: yeah, still working. thank god.

gabriella: I mean I have to admit a time or two I've left things in the fridge that shouldn't have been there.

gabriella: One time I left a remote in there because I sat it down reaching for something else. The joys of working such late nights.

gabriella: But you found it though! That's the most important thing and that it still works!

Elliott: I got an email from Sandra, fyi -- the apartment should be fully stocked by the time Leah and Anthony get there, and she's going to freshen things up for us between when they leave and we fly up.

Elliott: (And she promised me at LEAST three different types of ice cream in the freezer, 😉)

Elliott: Do you have a preference on when we leave? If we fly out early, we'd have more time in the city Wednesday night, but if you'd rather sleep in we can wait and leave a little later in the afternoon.

Gabriella: She is such a rockstar! It couldn't be easy to keep on top of that especially with our trips being back to back. I am seriously so excited though! Are you?

Gabriella: Can I please give Sandra the biggest hug? She is making me such a happy camper. There is something so nice about being able to treat yourself on trips.

Gabriella: Not at all I'm up for either! It might be nice to be able to get to enjoy the city before we have to get to work. The paparazzi could get some good clear photos 😉😂 What do you think though?

I mean, so here’s the update since I fell off of the face of the earth. It wasn’t the worst. My parents actually apologized and we had some serious talks so I can’t be mad about it much. Now - Puck was pretending to be my boyfriend so it was all for jokes. It’s not a bad thing though. I’m kinda glad they came but it’s still going to be tough for me to move forward due to what and how stuff happened but it’ll be alright, I suppose. How’ve you been?

Well I am sure everyone is glad to have you back, myself included. That is the toughest isn’t it? Moving forward even when it isn’t easy? But it can be done, I believe in you. And the fact that you can still find upsides? I think that is amazing. I have been good thank you! Getting ready to take a little trip up to New York. I’ve missing being there and thought it was about time to pay it a visit. Wondering how much great food I can fit into a few days.

Leah: I'm glad to be one of them.

Leah: It's kind of hard to reach full rage mode when you have your arm around a pretty girl.

Leah: True, it would be a pretty overload.

Leah: I have a rep around here.

Leah: Oh really? I'm really glad we're gonna have tonight, then. 😉

Leah: We might be going out with Evan and Celeste before we head home, by the way.

Leah: 7th, then? What are you heading up to New York for?

Leah: Good, because me and my mom are a package deal, to be honest. She's just... always around.

Leah: Exactly! Being able to take care yourself is so sexy. I don't know why fully grown men think they're cute when they need their girlfriend to mom them.

Leah: Tony and I are doing this mashup from a Jukebox musical called Rock of Ages, tonight. Are you familiar with the soundtrack? Might be a good starting point.

Leah: Good. I actually use that song as inspiration when genre switching music, sometimes.

Leah: Ah, that makes sense. It just didn't seem genuine?

Gabriella: I'm glad that you are too.

Gabriella: You make a very good point there. If you could have I may have actually been impressed. But I am glad it went the way it did.

Gabriella: It really would be.

Gabriella: Oh really? That's fair.

Gabriella: It was nice to see you! You guys did such a great job, like you guys always do.

Gabriella: That should work! I'm heading up with Elliott, just to take a little vacation and make an appearance.

Gabriella: Aw, that is really sweet though. I'm glad the two of you have a close bond like that.

Gabriella: It is one thing to help and support someone but they still have to take care of themselves.

Gabriella: I've heard a few songs from it! I think it's so great how more and more musicals are using a variety of genres.

Gabriella: Really? That's interesting!

Gabriella: Well I am sure a lot of it was. It is just hard to trust a lot of it. People compliment me on what they feel they know about me. But a lot of them didn't really know me outside of my career.

Braxton: Oh god, don't remind me. I used have actual nightmares about them. It was a relief they lost interest in me /finally/ when I started at Davis.

Braxton: I'd be surprised if they were pushing you towards it, honestly. When do you get back do you know?

Gabriella: I wish I could have kept them from you. Just because Mom, Dad and I took part in the business didn't mean you needed to be subjected to it. It's about time they let you be.

Gabriella: That's true, at the end of the day they really just want us to be happy. I should be back the Sunday afterwards.

Gabriella: That reminds me! Would you want to watch Eliza? If you can't I can always bring her with me or ask someone else. But I have a feeling she would have a lot of fun with you.

I don’t always believe them but I think it is always exciting to read - I’m the same with my horoscope. Even if not, it’ll be all good. There’s always more fortunes in the cookies. 

I completely agree, it is fun to sometimes get a little lost in the possibility of the good fortunes coming true. I really like that outlook though. The possibilities of great thinking coming true are endless.

I could if people weren’t so pompous. I look stunning in the dress, it’s just I don’t look like me. 

Miss Universe, huh? Now imagine that, that would be something. But really you are too kind. 

Who says they all would be? Who knows what kind of people you would find, I’ve met many gems, especially at galas. And in New York in general. My family and I have attended and performed at a few of them. I am sure your own personality can still shine through, no matter what you’re wearing. And at least that will only be one day of it right? Hopefully you can be yourself the rest of the trip.

Well happy early birthday to you! Is there anything specific that you are looking for with gifts? I am sure the people would love to make sure you can get exactly what you would like. And I am sure any of those bachelors would be lucky to have you on your arm.

I’ll have to try to stop by for this great party. I would love any chance to celebrate the great people here. 

Okay, so since nobody’s brought it up yet I guess I’ll start the conversation – yes, my birthday is Saturday, no gifts are not expected but are encouraged (gift receipts pls!!), YES I do need a date so, like, if there are any eligible bachelors out there who know how to have a good time… reply with where you’d take me for dinner. 

As for everyone else!! I’m thinking bank Saturday night. Bring money for drinks please!!!

Gabriella: I know, I wish we could have too. Even during vacations we were somewhere busy. But hey at least we are getting out calm time now right? I'm really glad you are liking it. I've really enjoyed it this whole time but it is certainly a whole lot better with you here.

Gabriella: You really thought so? Well I'll promise now that I'll make sure I don't overwork myself again. I'll make sure to give myself more than enough breaks.

Braxton: Yeah, and even on the odd times we weren't things around us were. It kind of made it hard to actually relax. I'm really just happy the both of us being here worked out like it did.

Braxton: I did. And good, I'm really glad you understand why they're so important now. I'm sure mom and dad do too.

Gabriella: Well because you didn't know what would be around any corner. The paparazzi loved our family didn't they? We finally escaped them here. I know, I can't tell you how happy I am that we're here together.

Gabriella: They really, really do. They aren't even pushing me to go back to work. They were even shocked that I wanted to go up to New York to do an appearance at the end of the month.

Gabriella: I'm going to be in New York at the end of the month. So I suppose it would be two weeks from now. It's far out but hopefully we can still work it out!

Gabriella: I guess that is a good enough reason not to tell him!

Gabriella: It isn't, I think its nice when people get along with their family. It's really important to me.

Gabriella: I don't think that's weird at all, it is certainly interesting. It is nice to know a person likes to take care of themselves.

Gabriella: See? That sounds a worlds better. I am sure you would be a great teacher.

Gabriella: Okay, okay, yes I know that one! I feel so bad for not connecting the dots. It would be hard for someone to not know that song.

Gabriella: Oh yes I've heard it before but that was from people I didn't really know or who didn't know me. The people here in Sanders and yours mean a lot more.
