It’s funny the things that you don’t even know exist in this country until you stumble on them. Driving back from Lake Tekapo, we noticed a turnoff to the Clay Cliffs. Having spotted them whizzing by from a distance on the way here & thinking they looked pretty cool, we took the bumpy drive to get up close. These ancient clay cliffs are an epic sight to see. The colours, textures & sheer magnitude, can really only be experienced by walking amongst them as we did. #claycliffs #mountaindreaming #roadtrip (at Clay Cliffs)

Had an amazing day out at @glenorchynz yesterday for the Great Glenorchy Getaway Day at @mrs_woolly After my morning of crafts with kiddies I joined the tour of the grounds & heard all about the innovative building project they are embarking on out here. And boy, they are going all out in their efforts to utilise the most sustainable practices available. It really is going to be a unique accommodation & community space. We walked through one of the completed units & I was really impressed with the design detail, like this entrance wall of hooks. Looking forward to seeing it all completed ❣️ #glenorchy #sustainableliving (at Mrs Woolly's General Store)

Look at this adorable bench top 'living garden' at @sherwood_queenstown They really have the loveliest way of showcasing their food here. I watched a very attentive chef, carefully placing a criss cross stack of freshly baked sourdough loaves just next to this. Often the marble workbench is laden with beautiful cakes & pastries on black iron display stands too. Love. #queenstown #restaurant (at Sherwood Queenstown)

Road tripping in the middle of nowhere really does make for the most amazing discoveries 😍 This was just one tiny corner of an amazing roadside vintage 'yard' found on the way home from Mt Hutt. There were several sweet looking vintage cars & room upon room of vintage trinkets. I swear I, almost left there with the most obscure, century old kitchen appliances...but I showed restraint and escaped with a coffee & my wallet in tact...just! #vintage #newzealand (at Burkes Pass, New Zealand)
