I know this is coming in from a sideways angle and that I can't really imagine what your lived experience is like as I was born afab and am now ??? But the feeling of not being a woman in the right way is something I think every woman deals with. Trans or Cis. You're never girly enough or you're trying too hard. And if you enjoy your 'masc' things like soccer or not shaving or literally anything it's like you get -1 woman points to society. I've felt disconnected from womanhood for the longest time to the point where I genuinely can't tell anymore what being a woman even means to me anymore. I think what I'm trying to get at is that I really relate to your connection or rather disconnect to being a girl while still being a girl.

i am a transwoman and i liked to play football growing up. i am a transwoman who never thought they were a girl until they were one. i am a transwoman who's just as valid as the girl who played with barbies but was forced to play with GI joe.

i dont know how to express this but i dont mind that i used to be a boy. i had a happy boy childhood, but i really really want to be a girl now.
