right now I’ve been living of my savings for 2 months so it’s really important that I find a job asap and after that I’ll probably be busy with working for a while.. so I don’t know how I would manage making a whole web comic on the side.. despite the fact that I already have so much of her story planned out in my head 😩

When Soraya is young, Ximena teaches her a native language (whether that be a real one like the Hispanic Talis hc I've seen or a LoL language) and baby Soraya speaks in both in one sentence

Oooh that would be so cute! Or she accidentally mixes the languages and sometimes adds words Mel don’t get so she has to backtrack once in a while and rephrase or translate the word she used 😅

what Lol languages are there? Have there actually been made real languages like the?? I know there was some used by the children’s choir in the “To Ashes And Blood” song but is there more than that? 👀✨✨✨✨

What do you think Mel and Jayce’s parenting styles for Soraya would be?

I think Mel would be super into gentle parenting because she doesn’t want to be like Ambessa. But she would also teach Soraya from a young age to be cautious of people because many don’t have good intentions.

I can see S1 Jayce or AU Jayce being super goofy and a little embarrassing with how affectionate he is. I think post canon Jayce would be more protective and firm (but still very loving and tender)

Yessss both Mel and Jayce are very gentle parents but kinda on the opposite ends of the spectrum?? I can’t explain it??? 😅

They’re not curling parents but Jayce would definitely be the un-rationally overprotective in the start? Especially after all his trauma with the kid he accidentally killed and how he almost lost his mom when he was young.

He has to learn to be more relaxed with his loved ones in general I think. He needs to relearn that they’re safe and that he won’t just loose them if he blinks 😬💦

I was wondering how Mel feels about raising her in Noxus? And being apart from Ximena, if she’s bonded more closely with her? How she speaks of Elora, Kino, Ambessa, and Jayce as Soraya grows older and asks more questions? How she feels about her own magic and Hextech especially if Soraya wants to learn more about her father’s and his partner’s work?

I think Mel really miss Piltover in general,, she had finally accepted it as her true home and then she got send away from that to… And especially now with Soraya in her life,, her having lost all of her family and knowing how lonely that is, she really wish Soraya could have grown up closer to Ximena :’(

Soraya first learns about Kino and Ambessa from Mel. Even though it is hard for Mel she knows it’s important that she makes sure that Soraya gets to know the more human sides of her family, as the side all of Noxus will be telling her about,, will be very different 😅

Mel is very reluctant to talk about Jayce, Viktor and Hextech to Soraya,, but Mel does tell her that her father was the inventor of the Hexgates when they go to visit grandma Ximena and her curiosity slowly starts to grow after that. Eventually she recognizes Jayce face from an old poster in Piltover to that Jayce mug Mel in her room back in Noxus (yes, Mel really kept that 😭) and that’s when she starts investigating and eventually finds one of Jayce’s very first research notebooks while visiting Grandma Ximena.

Did Mel find out she was pregnant with Soraya post-war or pre-war? Did she have any specific cravings? Did she go through postpartum-depression?

I have this really sweet idea in my head where; just before Mel leaves Piltover, she starts showing off some signs regarding her pregnancy and Sevika is the first one to notice and she’s kinda the person that makes Mel realize she actually IS pregnant, even if she’s barely showing it.

(I headcanon that Sevika had a lot of younger siblings as a child so she knows exactly what a pregnant woman is like 😅)
