For day 24 of A Dragon A Day, a dragon from something other than Flight Rising! The inheritance cycle was one of my favorite book series as a kid, but the cover illustrations always dissapointed me. I’ve been wanting to draw Saphira in my own style for a while, so here’s my version of the first book cover!

I FINALLY finished reading (and partially re-reading) The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini recently, and Eragon was a huge part of my childhood so I needed to draw Saphira my fav character <3
