Like Obi Wan will try everything to get Anakin to believe him; knowing his favourite things, mentioning things Anakin has never told anyone, even the very few holos they took together. But Anakin is still wary. One night Obi Wan gets very drunk and comes into Anakins room and begins to sob in his arms apologising over and over for not being strong enough to save him. Its only then that Anakin believes in him.

Yeah Obi Wan’s desperate to get Anakin to believe him or remember their relationship. He isn’t going to let him go though because after what the Jedi did to him he can’t trust them should Anakin go back to them and there isn’t really anywhere else Anakin can go (despite the fact Anakin is feeling slightly unsure about he Jedi as well). So instead he’s spending half his time intently researching memory alteration with the Force and the other half trying to convince Anakin that he isn’t lying.

All of this is of course super stressful and I can totally see him getting drunk one night in response to it.

When the very drunk Sith Lord comes into Anakin’s room Anakin doesn’t quiet know how to process it or what to do. Like in theory this is the perfect time to escape should he want to. Then the Sith Lord is sobbing and apologizing and begging him to forgive him for failing him, and trusting the Jedi (who he knows should not be trusted) to just let him go easily. He should have come with him when he went to the Temple to leave officially. He should have been there so the second they tried anything questionable he could have rescued Anakin so they wouldn’t be in this position. He needs to find a way to fix it but he’s just getting more and more lost as the days go by.

And okay, the sobbing, desperate Sith, who has all his mental shields down and is just radiating grief in the Force is a pretty compelling argument for him not lying about it.

Okay so here’s the idea for this AU. Imagine Danny’s dad, determined and oblivious as he is, organized his son an internship in the mayor’s office. SOUNDS FUN RIGHT? Yeah. He’s just as enthusiastic about that ‘opportunity’ to help his dad’s college pal. So to make his job more exciting or…bearable, Danny started pulling pranks on Vlad. Which is so much more fun if you inhabitat ghost powers. Too bad if your arch nemesis also possesses ‘em.  The shenanigans turn into a literal prank war and no one gets anything done anymore things are literally blowing up it’s spectacular really
