Back To My Roots

My very first gemsona was a Diamond. This was WAY back before I knew how important they were to the story. I just chose diamond because it was my birthstone. I sadly lost the pictures I drew of him, but thankfully, I vividly remember some major parts of his character.

Short black hair that was white down the middle

Similar case for his shirt, but backwards

Gem on the back of his right hand (because I'm right-handed)

His weapon was a claw

He came from a star (again, it was early in the show and I didn't know all the lore)

He fused with Garnet to become Ruby (once again, early in the show), who had clawed gauntlets

He fused with Amethyst to become Tanzanite, who had a grappling hook

He fused with Pearl to become Aquamarine, who had a pitchfork

I'm mentioning all of this so I can update it with all the Prism and Synthetic Diamond stuff I've been talking about. Mainly because of that wonderful fanart @sleepingpowder made for me. (You know who you are, and you know that you're awesome!) Also because it's been LITERAL AGES since I've posted ANYTHING here.

Random SU Take: Opal's weapon should've been a harpoon or fishing pole.

To this day, I just don't understand why Pearl's spear gets all curvy in Opal's bow, yet stays straight in Sardonyx's hammer and Rainbow Quartz 2.0's parasol.
